@Kronshi If I were to try to submit a character, should I just PM you or something?
@Kronshi I actually had several homeworld gems in mind from that RP I tried to make. I don't know if I'll submit (Edit: one of) them, but maybe? Confession time: Spinel was actually originally going to be a homeworld gem in an RP that never got of the ground, so any other gem I would hypothetically submit would be written about as well as she is. (But probably sans the 'Nope I'm out' moments for Bloodstone's sake, as amusing as that would be.)
Spinel could stay like this for maybe two more minutes. She waited to see Amber's reaction before making her decision. She was starting to become marginally more interested in what Bloodstone had to say, but not quite enough to show herself. A warp pad? Huh. I guess there's a lot I don't know about our technology. Spinel was still ignorant about a lot of things, apparently. Time would tell whether or not she'd be able to ask Bloodstone about any of it.
@Kronshi lol Okay if you want to hear Spinel's inner monologue that badly.
@Kronshi Ahh you're tempting me to make Spinel turn bad. Although I really doubt she'd do much for the criteria of making Bloodstone's life easier so maybe it's better if she doesn't. I pretty much designed her around being good at providing reconnaissance and covering fire for her teammates, but she would suck pretty bad on her own or with only one person, at least for a while. Her skill tree is pretty much based around her becoming the Queen of Stealth, but right now she'd be even worse than the other new gems on her own since she'll basically be screwed without people to cover immediately after she takes a shot and is vulnerable, visible and unable to attack for at least 20 seconds.
Personally I think the suggestion of replacing any gems who leave with an ally for Bloodstone is a good one. He should have better henchmen than robots and potentially corrupted gems, I think a roleplay of this size needs more than one villainous entity to carry it. That's just my two cents though.
@Raijinslayer That was legitimately pretty funny.

Also, I kind of wonder how far we should go with this scene. As much as I'm loving it Saarebas is probably going to want to be a part of it and he likely won't be on until tomorrow.
@Akayaofthemoon Welp, Spinel is... being Spinel, so Aquamarine still has at least a little time before she has to worry about losing her. I can't speak for anyone else though.
Spinel was already a short distance away from the group by the time Bloodstone had shown himself, but she would have needed some serious hearing issues in order to not hear and take note of what he just said. Spinel had a decision to make, trust this guy or keep moving? Learning about herself and her powers piqued her interest slightly... didn't it? Up until this point she'd basically just been going where she was led, she'd given no real thought to her future or what she actually wanted. She slowed down a little and thought some more. She needed more evidence, but was it worth it to ask him herself?

Spinel scanned the area and noticed a rather nice dumpster that had been flipped on its side. It would provide next to no cover but would get her out of sight long enough for her to turn invisible and listen in on whatever was being said. She'd have her information and get it from relative safety, assuming the others asked the questions she assumed they would. She realized she'd be accomplishing basically nothing by doing this if they finished talking and she still had questions of her own, but she'd cross that bridge when she came to it.

Spinel casually walked behind the flipped-over dumpster and didn't walk back out. At least, not as far as anyone who may have been watching was concerned. In reality, she was now standing about 20 feet away from it. Just close enough to still be in earshot, far enough away that she could hide behind it again before her invisibility ran out, so as not to give away her ace in the hole to this gem and human she'd never met. ...It occurred to her that she probably should have used it far more sparingly around her current companions, but there was no use in dwelling on the past.
@Kronshi Woo! I mean uh hurry Aquamarine!

@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, I hate that too. The worst thing is when you're the last person to post, so you've already done all you can do, and then you check in every day to see if anyone else has and they haven't, and then after like a week you're just like 'well crap.'
