@Akayaofthemoon That's something I really like about the show too, how they're able to mix the tragedy in with the cute and funny parts without downplaying one for the sake of the other. When I first heard Rose's voice after how much she was built up I think my heart stopped for a second.
Yeah, the 'Do you have any of her memories?' bit really made me think that as well. I think Pearl lapses between seeing Steven like a son and desperately wishing that part of Rose is somewhere in him. It's really a very well written tragic love story.

@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, it would be kind of cool to see how Vidalia ended up with Onion's dad. Also I have to go to bed pretty soon. My family elected me to take our rental car to get repaired, (apparently car-related problems are contagious right now or something) so I have to be up by 7:30 and ready to drive for like an hour.
@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, maybe Marty actually made it there all those years ago and now if Greg sets foot there he'll be thrown out because Marty is still mad about his betrayal.
Yeah, I doubt they would have mentioned it if they weren't going to show it at all.
@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, that makes sense. Now that I think about it they're probably saving Empire City for something, like a season closer maybe.
@Akayaofthemoon I'm glad to do it, it should be fun and also I like practicing my writing! Also yay, I've been wanting to see more of the human towns. Do you think it will be Empire City?
