I think this is the first time I've been awake well before everybody else, which is saying something since I'm pretty sure my noon is like 9am for most of you.

Morning everybody. Got my Chromite post up but wasn't too sure what to have her do just yet.
Chromite warped onto Bloodstone's ship almost as soon as he made the call. The armored gem stood up as straight as she could, hands at her sides. "Commander Bloodstone, I sincerely look forward to working with you again." In truth, she was incredibly happy to have any work, but she didn't want to seem desperate or too emotional about having been picked. Chromite stepped off of the warp pad and waited patiently to hear what Bloodstone had to say.

@Akayaofthemoon Ugh, that's terrible. I'm really sorry for you, I imagine that being the type of thing that would make you lose some faith in humanity, especially as a kid. It's the type of thing that motivates me to make a conscious effort not to be swayed by the bystander effect. I'm glad things eventually turned out somewhat alright for you.

@Loony Oh man schools are starting to sound like combat zones or something.
@Akayaofthemoon Clearly those rules exist for a good reason. I'll say I really respect your attitude about it, I don't know if I'd be quite so chill if something like that happened to me. I mean, I've had people injure me before, but not like that.

You guys are great friends for encouraging me, thank you so much! I promise not to brag about it in here anymore. I mean, not unless it's something major and you might need to know anyway since I'll be gone, like if I decide to commit to an actual marathon or something.

@Akayaofthemoon Well, it hurt probably about as bad as you imagine but I'm starting to get used to it. I know I shouldn't brag but it's kind of fun sharing my accomplishments with you guys. I think running all the miles will become a positive thing for me, I'm starting to get good!
