Chromite

"Very well then. Try and stay still, it works best when you don't move." Chromite effortlessly teleported them to the Mohs Town forest warp pad and led them into town. "Alright, so I assume you'll both want to head towards the place where your old friends apparently are? I trust you don't think they'll be hostile towards us, or at least not towards you."

Spinel

Spinel was already too emotional for her own good. She planned on asking Bloodstone the same question, but she honestly didn't want the answer. She was pretty sure of what it would be, and she couldn't take any more emotional distress. That, and she was far from confident about this situation. Spinel used the opportunity of Bloodstone being emotional and indisposed to dart off to her room and lock herself in, hoping that this would keep Aqua's gemstone safely away from Bloodstone.
@Loony I see, that's really cool. I like your creative process, I'm usually never even organized enough to use a template like having them all be color-coded after a rainbow or something. I just sort of wait until I come across an idea I think is cool and try to work that idea into a character. It's cool to see how one can lead to the other though, I love just suddenly having that explosion of ideas. It's too bad I'll never get to see the original nope squad in action, they sound pretty epic.
@Kronshi Oh yeah, there was a warp pad in the forest right? That could save some time.
The question now is whether it would be best if I had Chromite send them to the first Kindergarten, the temple or some other pad. If everyone wants us at the temple that's what I'll go with, and it does seem like the better option since sending them to the Kindergarten would get them tied up with Mars and Candice and possibly take unnecessary extra time. It might be hard for me to justify her doing that though.
@Loony Yeah, that's what I was asking. That's cool, did you deliberately look for a gem you could call Quin or was it the other way around? And I know your pain of having characters that you worked hard on and will probably never get to use.

@Akayaofthemoon I'm glad you think I've done a good job of writing sympathetic cuteness! Spinel's line when she explains why she feels so guilty, literally word for word as I have it so far: "Any competent archer could have pinned that monster down before it got to you without going anywhere near the danger themselves, and I failed on every count."
@Raijinslayer I don't mind.
@Loony Yay! And I love how much work you put into your group of gems. Also I've kind of been wondering, what kind of gem is Quin?
@Akayaofthemoon Because sads are cathartic, I guess... and also like I said above, a semi-productive way of venting out negative stuff we might be going through irl.

@Raijinslayer I agree that he could interact with Candice, Haruki could use something to do.
@Loony "The Kindergarten, as chance would have it, is very bit as much of a gem creation as this ship, my young friend. By all means however, I wouldn't mind you squatting there rather than here one bit. I can't make you do that though, because unlike some people I have something resembling a sense of duty. This is really making me want to have Chromite interact with more gems besides Bloodstone.
@Akayaofthemoon It sounds great! You should enjoy your trip as much as you can while you're still there, you deserve a break before one final bout of sads.
