Hm yeah, I remembered that one gem but wasn't sure if it really counted since like you said it was a gem monster. If a monster who was made to was able to do it but we don't see competent gems using the same ability as soon as it becomes useful, maybe Spinel really doesn't have anything to worry about.

@Raijinslayer Hm, that kind of makes sense. It must be fairly difficult because we haven't even seen Amethyst do it once, as much as she loves pranks. There's also the added issue that their gems would still be visible, which is a problem Spinel doesn't really have to worry about, since her gem is almost totally transparent.

Lol talk about a spoopy fail, Spinel was intending to frighten Meave and now she's the one who's scared. And it actually gets me thinking, we know that gems can change their appearance, but does that include turning invisible? I don't think we've seen that happen a single time yet, even when it would have provided a strategic advantage.
