Hey guys this is off topic but I'm working on giving myself an aesthetic you should help me. Think New England Gothic meets this meets Princess Unikitty from the Lego Movie meets hardcore punk. I think that this is objectively the best aesthetic ever and it describes me perfectly I just can't imagine how it would all look mashed together.
@Akayaofthemoon I always imagined the temple statue being what the crystal gems would be if they all fused together and that that fusion was what they used to win some kind of final battle to defend the earth against Homeworld, and it would probably make sense if Homeworld took a huge loss in such a battle. Time will tell if they killed/defeated a diamond in it, or if I'm even right.
@Kronshi That's really cool and is basically what I think too, minus Pink Diamond being killed because there isn't enough evidence of that yet, but woah. If that was true, it would really explain why Homeworld really seems to just hate Earth and Rose Quartz.
@Loony Aw I missed getting to talk with the little loon! See you later anyhow, best wishes and all that.
So yeah, on the subject of gem talk I've been thinking of compiling a list of arguments for and against Rose being Pink Diamond. I'm gonna put it under a hider because of potential spoilers/everybody probably doesn't want to read it but here we go anyway!
*She's pink, apparently held some position of high authority, and it's been strongly implied that there is a pink diamond
*She may have had a Pearl assigned to her, something only Diamonds have had so far
*Every diamond we've seen so far has had a gem that was shaped like... a diamond. Rose's gem clearly isn't
*Even Jasper referred to her (well, Steven, but her inability to recognize him as a separate being only reinforces this point) as "Rose," something she most likely wouldn't do if she had originally been known Pink Diamond
*Rose Quartz' appearance more closely resembles what we know of Quartz gems. She is tall and wide as we know Quartz gems to be, but not extremely tall like the Diamonds we've seen
*She is implied to be a military gem, which is consistent with what she would be if she really were a Quartz
So yeah, if you can't tell I'm pretty dubious about Rose being Pink Diamond. Does anyone else have anything to add?
You know Raijin's story reminded me of two things. One is that I'd kind of like to play a statted RP like Pathfinder, it kind of sucks that people here never really seem to go for that. Also I miss our friend of the same name.
