@Akayaofthemoon Thank you, it really does help. I'm thinking that I'll just try to go with a different major, maybe nursing. My only concern with that is that I'll very likely be 27 or 28 by the time I graduate with that major and I really don't like that, I already feel old. I'm thinking that on the side I'll just get my gen-eds and get a liberal arts degree so I'll at least have the opportunity for decent work while I go to school.

Welp I feel like garbage. I just got an email saying that I was not accepted into the program I need at school, even though I met all of the basic requirements and several of the preferred ones. I've taken 8 classes so far and only gotten as low as a C in one but apparently that didn't cut it. I haven't had the heart to tell my mom yet, it feels like I just wasted a whole year of hard work.
Chromite and Mars are standing on the grass outside the temple, possibly being watched by everyone else. It was decided that Chromite would be a good choice fro helping the young ones learn to fight because she could easily take a few hits. Chromite summons her shield. "Okay, whenever you're ready. Hit me as hard as you can." Mars reels back and throws one of his chakrams at Chromite's shield, causing an awful clanging sound, but Chromite doesn't so much as stagger. "Like that?" Chromite's lack of a reaction almost made Mars afraid that his attack had been too soft. "That was passable, yes. When you put you weight into a throw, make sure you don't just lurch forward. Gradually bring your upper body into it so as not to sacrifice accuracy, and make sure you're taking a step at about the same rate. Also, it helps to have your wrist pointed away from your body are you're lining up your shot, this will give the throw more power."
Since Raijin left us control of Mars I'm going to write a thing about Chromite training him. I wanted so bad to show Chromite as a mentor.

I think we should try to do something special if we can make it to the anniversary.
@Akayaofthemoon That's cool, I don't know if I'll do it though. I really like Spinel so I'll probably just stick with her. I'm glad you want to keep trying, I think a reboot will be really fun. It's also cool to here you're interested in Loonster's thing, I'll let them know!
