He continued looking at the battle with Hikari by his side, looking around more he spotted Rio down there fighting alongside some other people. He gave her a quick smile once she looked up at him, but it seemed like she was getting distracted, probably because they've hardly spoken in that year. He was going to yell out to her as an arrancar was aiming to hit her but someone else got to it first, nevertheless she got hit and began bleeding but seemed ok once she started fighting, that was his girl! He looked away for a second about to attack again from the air but caught sight of what Patrika did to Rio which angered him, stopping his attack completely he began diving towards the girl ignoring the yell from the guy. He was pissed from that, his face resembling that of an angry dragon, as she was paying attention to what was in front of her and looked at Rio he deemed this girl as foolish. His hand had cupped her whole face, him smashing her head into the ground leaving a small crater around her head, he didn't let up though. He continued to push her head further into the ground as he angrily spoke in her ear, "I saw what you did , being the Lieutenant of Squad six you're lucky that I don't lock your ass up right now, but we need meat shields like ! But I'm telling you right now, if you pull a stunt like that with anyone else then you will be locked up, and if you harm Rio again then you die my ! Now stand your ass up and fight the actual enemies, and I warn you, if you have intentions of cutting me while my back is turned.....Know that I'm not easily wounded!" He then let go of her face and stood up straight, he grabbed her by the hair and lifted her up pushing her into the swarm, the bitch actually needed to do something. Turning around he walked to Rio with a concerned face, a look that made it seem like what he did and said to Patrika never happened, "Rio, are you ok!? Do you need medical assistance?" he asked, his voice now filled with emotion unlike it would be a year ago....He seemed more.....Open with himself.
Rio Okotaru Darishimo (Huerona Umeko Hari), Fumio( Kazuhiko) Hari Kouineji, Souta Fushimaru Hari and Patrika Sunichi HariRio was doing a fair job of fighting the enemies, despite being wounded. Fumio then walked passed her, attracting her attention as he began slowly speeding towards Patrika. Quickly, Rio grabbed his arm, holding him back the best she could.
"Crimson, forget about it. We need to dispose of these creatures as soon as possible before more join the swarm.... We'll settle this after we've finished this task Okay?" She looked at him, speaking calmly, as if her left side wasn't extremely painful and bleeding profusely right now. Wincing a little, she tried not to show any pain and covered it with a smile. Fumio just tore his eyes off of Patrika and looked down at Rio, watching her carefully for a minute before lightening up.
"Okay Huerona. But you need he-" CRACK!... Kenta then hit the floor, Patrika's head first.
Patrika watched as Fumio began storming towards her, not scared in the slightest... Well, on the inside she was terrified, but she covered all of that up with her smug smirks. She cut down two enemies on either side of her, her eyes on Fumio, her sword released.... But then Rio stopped him, causing Patrika's face to drop.
"Bloody Bit-AH-UNNNNNNNN!!" Someone's hand covered her face all of a sudden, quickly cutting off her oxygen. Breathing heavily, she reached her hands up to attempt to tear the hand off of her when the back of her head met with the floor beneath quite hard.... Patrika's eyes widened as muffled screams sounded from beneath Kenta's hand. She listened to Kenta's words, feeling the urge to spit in his face, which she would of if his hand wasn't suffocating her right now.
'Who the hell are you?! Who the fuck's Rio?!?!?! Must be the Traitor's fake name! No wonder she's still alive, no one must of recognised her!' Just as she finished that thought, Patrika was pulled by her hair before thrown into the hoard.
"NN-AHHH!!".
Fumio and Rio watched with widened eyes while Souta watched from the comer of his, also widened, eye.
'Fuck this!' Souta thought.
"Blossom Himawari!" Souta yelled, releasing his hammer while gaining a smirk. Now he'd be able to do more damage and fight easily. As Souta continued to destroy clusters of enemies with ease, Fumio and Rio shared a silence between them until Kenta finally spoke to Rio.
"K-Kenta-kun..." She muttered absent-mindedly. Shaking her head, she spoke properly, smiling widely.
"I'm Okay, I'll seek assistance after our business here is done" It had been too long since the two had spoke as they both had their own duties to attend to. Kenta sounded a little different from what she remembered, he spoke with more emotion than usual.
"Now! We should finish this! Let's move it you two!" She grinned before sharply turning around to assist Souta, suddenly remembering that she wore an eye-patch now and wondering whether Kenta had noticed it.
Fumio watched Rio, deciding to stay silent as she spoke to Kenta. Once she went back to fighting, Fumio looked up at Kenta, recognising him as the Squad 6 Lieutenant. As he too was a Lieutenant, he knew of the other Lieutenants of the Seireitei but never really associated himself with them.
"She's right, let's finish this first, talk later" Fumio turned to his left, effortlessly releasing arcs of crystal that wiped out huge amounts of the creatures at a time. It was less fun now with his sword released, but he just wanted to get this over with to make sure Rio was Okay. Rio must of been the only one who's Zanpakuto wasn't released. Despite her wound making it a little difficult to fight, she still refused to release it. She would only release it when it was completely necessary but would prefer to fight with it sealed until she had no choice but to release it.
