Kaizo watched Rio a small smile on his face then he listened to her speak however his face grew serious when he saw a tear roll down her left cheek, Kaizo shunpoed and appeared before Rio then wrapped his arms around her, his right hand on the back of her head as he held her close to his chest "No...they wont get what they want, not this time...I'm staying here like it or not...there is nothing they can do to stop me." Kaizo then stood back slightly and moved his right hand around to her left cheek and wiped her tear away with his thumb, he then noticed her right eye "What happened to your eye? did he do it?" Kaizo said moving his head off in the direction of the man she had just been fighting...

Rio Okotaru Darishimo

Rio was still shocked to see the love of her life finally return.... He shunpo'ed off of the roof he stood on and appeared in front of her suddenly, causing Rio to widen her eye a little further before he wrapped his arms around her. A light blush dusted her cheeks while she gulped, wrapping her arms around Kaizo in return before he let go after saying something... Rio didn't know who they were but she didn't want to ask about that right now... Feeling Kaizo's touch calmed her majorly. Rio felt safe just knowing he was here. Still covering her eye, Kaizo asked her about it which made her snap out of her delighted daze and begin to panic a touch. "U-um.. N-no... He didn't do it..." Rio looked down with her left eye, knowing that she had to tell Kaizo the truth... she couldn't keep something as big as this a secret from Kaizo... However, she couldn't bring herself to speak, so instead...

Taking a deep breath, Rio let her right hand drop. "N-now... don't get mad.. O-okay?" She looked up with her left eye for a minute before looking back down, slowly opening her right eye to reveal a crystal where her eye should be... Waiting patiently while keeping her eyes to the group, Rio hoped Kaizo wouldn't flip out or just leave her due to this.... These thoughts made her feel anxious...

Koujaku watched the two play cards and it was just...odd...there was no emotion between them! the room was growing cold just by this card game, it was sucking all the emotion out of the room, he was however shocked at Akira, this was the first time he had ever seen him play a game let alone a card game...he had never played any card game yet he played masterfully...Koujaku watched the two and the end result was unexpected, completely unexpected "A-A Draw?" Akira had somehow led them to a draw, something harder to do than win or lose...Akira wasn't bothered by this at all, yet he showed no enjoyment or sorrow...just nothing, Koujaku then spoke "The hell did I just watch?"

Celestria

"A... draw" Celestria couldn't believe it... She had always won, always! Who was this guy?... Celestria's eyes had widened for a second before they returned to their normal size as she looked up at Akira. "How did you.. tie with me? What type of being are you?" She analysed him once more, only to receive nothing, again. For the first time ever, Celestria... smiled? The tiniest of smiles added a little life to her pale face as she thought about the match, finding the feeling of drawing rather... pleasing. "Fascinating" Just as quickly as it appeared, Celestria's smile vanished, returning her back to normal. It was as if she had never even smiled, no joy showed, no annoyance, no anger or signs of becoming upset... A clear slate. Looking up at Koujaku, Celestria spoke. "Akira is a rather worthy opponent, the only one in whom I hadn't won in a game. A rather thought-provoking friend you have here Koujaku, I'm impressed." Her voice was monotonous, however her words were clearly positive towards Akira.

It seemed that his trick of using the wind as a diversion went well, as his tackle succeeded as they fell on the roof with her shouting to stop and then shunpoing out of his grasp and onto the floor which made him scratch his head but shrug in the end and drop to the floor. She told him that he was good in her books which made him grin and seal his sword. "I knew my determination would prevail! It showed my conviction and powered through to the end. And sorry about the eye patch."

A right foot slammed down on a roof just above Rio, the tiles cracking slightly. The figure looked down at Rio, their cloak flowing in the wind with the hood up, hiding their face. Their spiritual energy was almost impossible to sense then the cloaked figure spoke "It's been awhile...and yet, you still look as beautiful as the last time I saw you" The figure's arms then raised up as it's hands gripped the hood and threw it back, the light splashing onto their face as a small smirk formed on the revealed mans face and instantly she'd recognize that it was Kaizo "I'm back and this time...I'm staying..."

Neil dropped to the floor, grinning. He then sprouted another one of his cheesy lines, which made Rio physically facepalm before looking at him, still covering her eye. Deciding to ignore his line, she smiled again. "Don't worry about it... I just need to get another one" Rio turned and took one step before she heard something slam into the roof of the barracks. The sudden noise shocked her, but she was on guard instantly. Looking towards who made the noise, Rio's eyes narrowed at the unknown figure. The figure then began to talk...

"It's been awhile...and yet, you still look as beautiful as the last time I saw you" "... H-huh?" The voice was hazy in her mind, but she felt that she knew it... It sounded familiar to her... Perplexed, Rio watched the figure grab it's hood but no amount of time could of prepared her for what she was about to see.... Rio's left eye began widening dramatically as her mouth fell agape... She was undeniably frozen, paralysed by the guy looking back at her... "K-Kaizo..." Her voice and breath shook, but what shocked her the most was the last thing he said. "I'm staying..." 'S-staying?... "B-but.... You sh-shouldn't be h-here... I-It's too d-dangerous..." Unable to hold back, a tear unknowingly escaped from her left eye, sliding down her cheek. Forgetting her surroundings including Neil, Rio was too focused on Kaizo... It had been so long, so hard for her not to miss him, not to see him... And now, finally, he had come back... but at what cost?

Asuka was still reading her book however her sense was on the barracks, it had such an odd vibe, this could only mean for exciting tasks surely? As she thought Asuka then heard a man speak which caused her to look up at him, she then adjusted her glasses by pushing them back up and then spoke "Yes, I am looking to join this division...I was unsure if I should of entered or not so I waited here until someone was clearly available, it seemed like most of this Squad were busy which seems good." Asuka then closed her book and held her look at the man who had approached her

Fumio Hari Kouineji

Fumio listened to the young lady and kept his smile, unable to be rid of it. "Ahh, I see. Well, welcome to the Eighth Squadron~ My name is Fumio Kouineji, the Lieutenant of this Squad" Fumio bowed out of respect while holding the woman's gaze. "I'm not quite sure if the Captain has returned or not, but I'll take you to his office. Meanwhile, let's have a chat. Oh, also, may I ask for your name? And why you'd like to join us here?" Fumio turned around, holding a hand out in front of him while looking back over his shoulder. "Please, follow me~" Turning back, he began making his way to the Captain Rinkei's office.

Koujaku watched as Celestria stared at Akira, the two were just looking at eachother and it was kinda weird...Akira didn't even blink which was something even weirder. How come he always got stuck with the odd people? He was always the normal one in whatever situation...well...except when...Koujaku shook the thought out of his head, it wasn't time to think of that. Koujaku then noticed Celestria look back to him and begin speaking, he listened then spoke back to her "Well he does...he simply chooses not to speak. I'm pretty sure he see's it as a waste of time...something like that, he isn't exactly easy to understand. Well I just came her for a friendly chat and maybe a drin-" Koujaku stopped speaking when he noticed Akira sit down opposite Celestria and pick up a card, this caused Koujaku's eyes to widen slightly "You want to play cards? Bu-" A card then hit Koujaku's forehead causing him to squint at Akira who looked at Celestria still "Fine do what you want then...well will you play cards with him Celestria?"

Celestria

Celestria listened to Koujaku explain Akira's speech impediment. "Interesting..." She then continued to listen to him before her eyes dashed to Akira as the male took a seat. Koujaku seemed confused by this action, causing Celestria to pay close attention to the two. Silently, Celestria observed Koujaku question the fellow, thus receiving a card to the forehead, this action causing him to squint his eyes. Celestria didn't say a word during this, only watched before Koujaku asked her a question. "I play cards with anyone who has the audacity to challenge me." Was her response before dealing the deck of cards that she had ready for a situation such as this one.

During the game, Celestria felt something she had never felt before... challenged... This guy, Akira, was extremely hard to read... Mainly because there was nothing at all to read... The guy was like a closed book... Or more so just plain blank, atleast a book had a title to suggest what lurked inside... 'What is this... why am I hesitant?' She thought the longer she played with Akira.

Again she dodged his attack, sure enough she was a quick one, while he would be more slow, and once again found himself facing another hado this time at point blank range, which also happened to be a byakurai. Neil at the last second tensed up his body as the attack pushed against his body. Moving him back as it then vanished some blood trickled down his from where it hit, but it wasn't a lot. he then crack his neck and opened his sword again. He swung it as hard as he could blowing powerful gust of wind towards her, and after that he followed it up by shunpoing behind her and aiming for a tackle to her back.

Rio looked at the mark she made and the blood that trickled. '... Maybe I should of went with Sho instead...' She didn't want to hurt him, only observe his level of skill. Standing up straight, Neil cracked his neck before opening his fan once more. 'It'd be interesting to watch him fight without restraints against an enemy... Especially with a Shikai such as that' Rio couldn't help but admire his weapon a little as she blocked once more. Another gust of wind smothered her and tried to carry her into the distance but Rio was ready. She focused on battling against the wind, not even noticing Neil behind her until she felt a large force hit her back, tackling her. Neil's arms had grabbed her, forcing her body forward and about ready to hit the floor. However, the two ended up landing on the roof of the barracks, Neil on top. Rio squirmed, feeling his topless body wrapped around hers instantly made her uncomfortable. "That's enough!" She yelled, accidentally opening her right eye to look at Neil but before he could look at her, she instantly covered her right eye with her hand. "Tch" Rio managed to squeeze out of Neil's grasp with a Shunpo, reappearing on the floor as she released a breath that she didn't know she was holding.

Holding her right hand over her right eye, Rio looked up at Neil and began speaking. "Neil, you did well to say the least. Good job, I believe you are accepted into the Squad" She gave him a smile out of politeness. "I will brief Captain Kuchiki once he returns, so be prepared as he might want to test you, or he might not. However, as it stands, you are accepted so welcome"

Rio's energy returned back to the level it was at the start as she watched Neil jump back. She watched him for a moment, noticing his difficulty... 'Well...' Waiting for a little while, Neil had finally gained an idea and went for her. Rio kept her arms crossed before swiftly turning her body to the right, narrowly missing his leg while ducking as he swiped with his sword. During this, Rio had been charging something that she aimed at his stomach, her right hand's fingers nearly touching his body. "Hadō #4. Byakurai" It was a weak blast, only meaning to give a light graze, if that but was mainly used to push him back.

Rio watched as the Hado burned off Neil's top, showing his toned skin underneath. "My eye is none of your concern!" She yelled back, felling a little defensive about the subject. Another layer of crystal covered the edges of her Shikai, ultimately doubling the weapon in size. Rio took to waiting again, seeing what he'd do next. Lifting her Kunai, Rio caught Neil's sword, stopping it from lowering further. Her face and body were calm and still as she parried with Neil's sword, raising her energy a touch while keeping her right eye closed. This would give a small insight into Rio's power, showing that she wasn't as weak as she may of seemed or looked. Concealing her energy was something Rio had perfected over the times when training with both Fumio and Souta, proving that when used the right way, would effectively work as a weapon against her enemy's in a few ways.

As Rio was getting closer to Neil, he opened his large fan, using wind to push her further into the air. Immediately, Rio blocked her face, criss-crossing her arms in front of her face as she flung her left leg down to steady herself in the air. She managed to stop herself from flying too far off into the air, during which she noticed Neil launch an attack. A sharp gust of wind was headed for her and although Rio knew she could dodge the attack easily, she didn't make any attempt to. 'Right... I can take this...' Rio held her guard up, allowing the gust to hit her head-on. Keeping her eye closed, Rio focused on keeping her body steady, making sure the wind didn't carry her further into the air meanwhile gaining bruises on her forearms from the force of the wind. It hurt a little, but certainly wasn't anything Rio couldn't handle. However, throughout all of this, there was one thing Rio had forgotten to think about... her eye-patch. She must of been so used to wearing it that she couldn't even feel the patch anymore, forgetting it's existence. As expected, the gust of wind carried Rio's eye-patch along with it.

Shunpo'ing back down onto the barrack's roof, Rio covered her right eye promptly with her right hand but didn't show any vulnerability. One layer of crystal had already cased both Hana and Kan. 'Dammit... ' Moving her hand, Rio kept her right eyelid closed before lifting her left palm. "Hadō #31 Shakkaho" A red ball of energy formed in the palm of her hand before firing, heading directly for Neil.
