Heroes of Beacon - the Next Chapter

Emerald pouted, wrapping her tail around her waist and holding it gingerly in her hands as she sat on the floor. Bianca's wings seemed a lot less enticing now that there were consequences. This was no fun at all! She fidgeted a bit, letting go of her tail and letting it flick around behind her once she was satisfied it wasn't gonna get grabbed again.

"I wasn't gonna eat her..." She muttered quietly, mostly to herself. She mentally put Gratia on her list of people to keep out of tail's reach. It was a rather short list, since she'd just made it up. Gratia was right about one thing though, she did like the Energizer mascot, he was such a funny looking bunny.

Since she wasn't able to attack Bianca's feathers, Emerald had to settle for watching...and resist the urge to reach for them.

She crept closer and closer, her prey unaware of their fate. She prepared to pounce, ready to claim vic-

"EEP!" Emmy exclaimed as she felt something grab her tail, sending tingles up her spine. She fell forwards onto the floor in surprise.. Her head swerved around to look at the perpetrator, looking rather shocked. Her eyes were wider than usual as she stared at Gratia.

"That's...that's my tail." She stuttered, unsure what to do in this situation. People didn't normally just up and grab her tail, this was scary!

She waited for Gratia to let go...any second now...

A book flew out of nowhere and smacked one of the Faunus Haters right in the face. They looked around frantically but did not see the snickering cat Faunus a couple aisles down.

Emmy snuck around back to the tour group, looking as innocent as possible as she could, a nice smile on her face. The one guy who had been unfortunate enough to get smacked with the paperback looked around looking pretty damn pissed, clutching the book in his hand.

With that little deed done, Emmy was bored. Once again Bianca's very distracting wings caught her eyes. She decided to start sneaking toward her, almost looking like she was gonna pounce.

By the way, as soon as Skyra returns to Beacon, I hope she can meet some "Faunus Haters".
They're going to have to face two fists, then. (See what I did there?)

"Ummm, thanks!" Vega's surprise hug was surprising. She didn't mind it too much though, she was sort of used that happening at her old school. Plus she had to admit she enjoyed the attention.

Though the hug was soon forgotten as the group set off on their tour, and Bianca tormented her with her wings of feathery wonder. Emmy tried to resist, but every time Bianca stretched her wings out, Emmy swatted at them without fail. Never quite fast enough to catch them before the owl faunus folded the wings back however.

When they entered the library the wings were all but forgotten, the newest, most interesting thing now the massive library that was before her. Emerald was admittedly not a book worm. She rarely could sit still long enough to read a novel anyway. She'd either get bored and have to move around, or she'd fall asleep.

However that didn't mean the library wasn't fun for her to explore! She went toward a random aisle and looked at the endless amount of books on the shelves. It gave Emmy an idea. She grabbed a book, flung it straight up in the air, and then activated her semblance, causing a constant gust of wind to blow upwards and keep the book from falling, watching it dance around in the air, it's pages flapping like crazy. She giggled.
