Another thing about Emmy was that she was a very fast eater. It took her roughly five minutes to finish her food and wash it down with soda. She was on a very quick schedule that allowed her to do as many things as she could...quickly!
Hmmm, I actually don't have anything to do now. She tossed her schedule into the recycle bin, deciding to listen in on the on going conversations in front of her instead. It seemed they were mostly talking about feather pillows and some really elaborate scheme to get dates. What was with these interviews? Was it not simple enough to just ask her out? Or maybe she ask them out? Emerald didn't really get it, but it sounded like too much of a hassle and kind of boring. She prefered to hang out with people and get to know them first anyway. Though she never had gotten farther than that with anyone... Silly friendzones.
She didn't want to go on stupid dates anyway, she'd rather just goof around and have fun with people. Speaking of fun...
The wind started to pick up in the dining hall, empty paper plates, loose napkins, and other light objects were blown into the air. It was pretty odd since they weren't even outside, but Emmy knew better.
"Where's that breeze coming from?" She 'wondered' out loud, looking confused. However she was smirking on the inside.
