Well, Akyra is open to interaction at this point.

Also, since I feel the need to share it, I ended up going to Disney's Hollywood Studios the other day. Not only was it awesome, especially the Star Wars stuff, but I got to get pictures with Chewbacca and Darth Vader, and I got a very blurry picture of a Jawa (The curious creature wouldn't stay still, he was basically shuffling through everyone's pockets until he found something he could trade for xD).

And at the end of the night they had an AMAZING Star Wars themed firework show. I think it was actually the coolest thing I had ever seen. They had quotes from the movie, from Yoda and Darth Vader and Obi Wan and others, and the music playing as well. The music/quotes and fireworks were so in sync it gave me goosebumps. Oh, and my favorite, they had a battle audio part or something, with the sound of laser guns, and that was amazing because it looked like they were shooting into the sky, with the way the fireworks were done.

Oh, and just before the firework show there were two stormtroopers that came out. I also got blurry pictures of them because they wouldn't stop moving, but they were hilarious making everyone getting out of the way and basically being rude. God, I would kill to work there, especially as a Stormtrooper. xD

But they had almost no Boba Fett stuff in their little museum section. Basically a little figurine of him in his model ship, and a life-sized toy statue thing. But they did have a Mandalorian helmet there, but it was pinkish red(?) I think it may have belonged to someone in the animated series, I'm not entirely sure since I haven't watched the animated series yet.
Once the TIE fighters gave up their attempt to intercept their voyage, Akyra sat up and began towards the hatch. Her unease only grew as the corvette approached the spaceport. The Vahra's connection to the force was exceptionally strong, that much was obvious. There were others on this planet that were strongly connected with the force - the dark side - and she had no doubt that the others had sensed it. But it definitely wasn't just one. No, there was more than one.

They're hiding something big.

A droid caught her eye as she hurried to her destination. F7-250, carrying an unconscious crewmember by the looks of it. Her instinct told her to help, it was only natural for the healer, but she knew where her priorities were at the moment. Besides, the droid was undoubtedly capable of handling the situation. Despite her disinterest in droids, she did find a liking for the unique AI.

Focus on the matter at hand, She reminded herself.

Time suddenly became a very important factor in this mission, which is why she was among the first to reach the hatch. Once they landed they would have to be quick. If they didn't get to their destination in time they might lose their lead. Of course, they weren't going to get anywhere without a fight, this much she knew. For a quick moment she checked to make sure she was prepared. Her lightsaber was clipped to her belt and her crystals on her person, just in case they ran into trouble.

"They're coming to greet us," She realized and thought out loud, though it didn't surprise her in the slightest. There was a number of people coming their way, and somehow she doubted they were there to offer polite greetings.
My apologies for having short, vague, and late posts from the beginning. The RP ended up starting on a busy week for me, but I've been trying my best to at least stay mostly kept up. Things will be a lot less hectic after Sunday though.

Also, I must say that I love F7-250's character. Not sure why, but I took an instant liking to it.
While others took their positions in fighters or on the bridge, Akyra was one to position herself behind one of the unmanned laser cannons found on the Ardent Liberty. The turbolasers were helpful, but the best option to fight back against the TIE fighters was through the use of a weapon that was easier to maneuver. She settled herself in, quickly becoming familiar with the controls. A glance outside allowed her to see the chaos, though for the most part they were holding up well.

The fighters were focusing their aim on the Ardent Liberty now, giving both their fighters and the gunners a chance to get a good shot on a number of the TIE fighters. Akyra's handling of the weapon was awkward, but her aim was true. At first she had only missed, but she soon regained her concentration. A nip on the wing of one, a direct shot on another. It seemed the ships weren't equipped with anything on the defensive side.

One gunner commented on her aim. She had her connection to thank for that.

The ship suddenly lurched forward, then followed by a tremor that left one of the gunners cursing and commenting on their pilot's crazy antics. To some extent the Vahra agreed, but at least she got them closer to the ground and out of the mess.

Given a moment to catch her breath, Akyra began to contemplate the disturbance she had felt. The others would have felt it by now as well. There was something dark waiting for them.

I'm unfamiliar with the Farstar (Ardent Liberty's) weapon system, so if I mess up within the next few posts, feel free to correct me. ^^;

Akyra glanced up at the sound of the intercom, as if doing so would allow the pilot to know that she was paying attention. The slightest hint of relief spread through the Vahra at the announcement. Sure, there were a few complications, but they were prepared for those. The important part was now they could get off this ship.

A familiar presence approached shortly after the announcement. Elyka. Better her than anyone else, the Vahra thought. While she was acquainted with the other Jedi, she still did not know them as well as she knew Elyka. To be honest, she had felt slightly relieved when she learned that they would be on this mission together. Akyra might try to keep her friendships at a minimum, but she could not deny the comfort she felt knowing there was an old acquaintance with her that she could rely on.

Akyra glanced at the Jedi. "Only once, with my master. I can't say I'm pleased to be back." She answered, her displeasure obvious in her voice. She wasn't quite as excited as Elyka, though she would be lying if she said she wasn't glad to be on this particular mission. After all, it wasn't every day that they were assigned a mission by the Grandmaster himself.

Giving a slight nod at Elyka's suggestion, she followed her fellow Jedi, though it was quickly cut short. There was a disturbance, something was wrong. Her assumptions were only confirmed at the sound of an alarm. Akyra cursed under her breath in her mother tongue as she turned around. Now they were in for space warfare, one of her least favorite things. "So much for a quiet arrival. I'm going to help with the gunners," She informed before hurrying off, not bothering to check if Elyka was following.
@Zara Great, sounds good to me!
I'll post in the morning, right now I'm much too exhausted to come up with something worth writing. =]
@Zara If you would like, I would be fine with Elyka and Akyra knowing each other at least somewhat well. Perhaps they could have gone on a mission or two together, either as Jedi Knights or as Padawans, perhaps with their masters? Of course, if you would rather not, I'm perfectly fine with that. Akyra would still be distant, but it would be more of an acquaintanceship than she might have with anyone else at the moment.
It was of no surprise when Akyra retreated to a secluded room within the Ardent Liberty the moment she got the chance. Of course, she had taken the time to get a brief tour of the massive ship, but she made sure it was exactly that - brief. Socializing with those aboard was not her priority, though she did not doubt that she would have to do so before long. Her master, if he was here now, would have undoubtedly scolded her by now for procrastinating on it. She would certainly assure him that she would, and it would be no lie. After all, connections are the only way one is able to get anywhere. Akyra could only hope that this mission would not take long, and that there was nothing to worry about.

However, she could not help but feel like her hopes would be crushed. It was this dreadful feeling that chased her to the secluded room, where she now sat in meditation. Her golden eyes remained closed, her breathing steady, slowly but surely erasing the emotions from her being. Her nervousness was the first to go the moment she felt the connection with the force. Meditation was not uncommon for the Vahra - it gave her the comfort she needed and rid her of the emotions that could potentially overwhelm her. After all, she was never good at handling an overwhelming amount of emotion.

The ship was not the most pleasant of places to meditate. Granted, Akyra was never fond of traveling through the darkness that was space. It was a beautiful sight, yes, but she was far more content staring up at the galaxy from a planet, where life flourished. Here she felt trapped in the confines of the metal walls.

A relaxed sigh escaped Akyra's mouth as she opened her golden eyes. They were undoubtedly nearing Nar Shaddaa by now. The young Vahra had her complaints about the planet as well, but then again, who didn't? The Vahra stood and put her hair up in its usual ponytail, then placed her mask upon her face.

Akyra stepped outside and began to wander the ship, stopping only once she reached the hanger. She took a moment to admire the fighters outside, though she was not one that could truly come to appreciate them. She knew the basics, but decided that flying would never really be for her.
Patience young padawans, there still plenty of time left on this side of the world. ^^
