Yudai Kageyama
Within the Red Sages base
Red Sages

Upon entering the conference room, Yudai could feel as if he had been... watched? Or something akin to that, something strange - a sensation that made him furrow his brow slightly in his seat. He cast a quick glance around, his eyes roaming past Seijo; he never focused on her, even while she was speaking. Not as disrespect, of course, it was just the manner Yudai couldn't quite focus on something with his eyes; he was still paying attention. A boy, with a red-hair - who was in fact close to Yudai an hour or two ago - began speaking openly about his desire to give a beautiful Uchiha girl a beautiful death, a smirk practically forced itself onto Yudai's lips and he had to contain himself to avoid mocking his rebel colleague.

The Lady-Commander's next words, which disregarded what he said in an utterly fashionable way, made Yudai's smirk shift into a wide, broad grin: Just look at how powerful she is! She didn't had the need to care about any of them or their desires, because she was a leader. A LEADER. Yudai made a self-note to remind this exact phrase so he could use it one day, when HE became a leader.

First, she notified that the only mission she'd detail in public, was her own. And thus, the images of a warehouse in what Yudai assumed to be Amegakure - later confirmed by Seijo - were shown. She began briefing them with the needed information... Madara's Gunbai... Sasuke's sword. Just the ring of those names, the names that wrote story and became legends years ago, Yudai could barely believe they were actually getting that far within their missions.

Then. His name. Yudai was going to be on this mission with Seijo, Nori and someone he wasn't acknowledged with. Right, he was put in the team which would take the important mission for now, this was simply amazing - in a way, Yudai felt as if he had double responsability, but the young man remained perfectly quiet in his seat, watching as other names were called, there was a bit of chattery around, mostly comments about who's name had been called or so. Soon, the speech ended and finally they were 'free'.

The man made his way directly to his room. In there, he began separating his battle attire and tidying some pouches and satchels up, mostly for carrying anything he'd need. Once done, he headed out to the hall and just stood there, leaning against a wall, eyes watching everyone who he found interesting enough. Perhaps it was time to socialize a bit more with his newfound teammate, Nori, but he'd do it later.

The Hamajõ Confederation

There was Kaori Uchiha. The events today had been very tiring and honestly, she didn't want to be here so soon, but alas, orders were orders. She arrived pretty early, but wasn't anywhere near the first few to arrive. There were quite a few shinobi around already and the cat-shinobi being was coughing on the mic, likely to call everyone's attention or something like that. Soon, Kaori sat down onto a seat, throwing a leg over the other, hands resting gently over hips. Her eyes blinked slowly as she took a deep breath, gaze settling on the creature for the time being. It had begun it's... speech.

The way it spoke was disgustingly annoying, with the strange habit of swearing upon everything. It seemed as if it didn't want to be here, either, and Kaori couldn't understand why it was a chosen commander; it made no sense. Likely for simply being powerful. Or perhaps, it deserved being a commander: Kaori simply hated that creature, it was the resentment from having to take orders from something that previously killed two members of the Uchiha clan. She just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.

And so, with Aroshima finally 'in', Naomi could proceed to the conference room within the base. Aro tagged along, as it natural, and they sat alongside one another. The shinobi soon began filling the room entirely and the speech began - not before a red-haired boy caught everyone's attention with some babbling nonsense about an Uchiha. Naomi couldn't help but frown slightly; she was professional in terms of well, being a shinobi, and this kind of thing easily bothered her to the maximum. A shinobi does not picks their kill like that; they kill on necessity or on orders and done. That was the extreme example of how not to be a shinobi, but an emotional man without self-control to complete tasks. She didn't voice her disdain, though. Instead, she'd answer Aro's question with a whisper to his ear.

"Seijo Tametono. Lady-Commander, sister to the fallen Tarara Tametono."

Yudai, Nori and Anzai were the first names, who would take the most important mission together with Seijo. Next, Naomi, Chieko and Aroshima.. Well, she expected them to put her in the same team as him, naturally. The next name, made Naomi frown ever so slightly; Arima was the leader's cousin, but he wasn't particularly brilliant or even good. Just.. average, all in all. She wondered how he'd fare as a leader, nonetheless. Lastly, Katsuko and Mikoto - the boy who went ahead with the nonsense previously. There, the briefing was done.

As soon as they were liberated from the conference room, Naomi proceeded to walk to the hall, standing a few meters from Aroshima. She'd just observe and see if he'd strike conversation with someone; he was quick to socialize, different from Naomi herself.

Red Sages

Well, well. Those two recruits surely had a lot to report, which only brought a subtle smirk to Yudai's lips. Part of him wanted to question them if THEY BROUGHT ANY BARRIER DOWN TODAY?! HAH, DID THEY?! They didn't. And honestly it seemed as if he didn't, either. A good job wouldn't hurt, neither massage his ego too much. But oh well, he was certain he would accomplish many other feats within the Red Sages. It was his destiny. As long as the red-haired powerhouse of a man was alive to do the hardworking so Yudai can claim it was his doing, everything would go along pretty well.

Honestly, that shuriken in his arm was starting to bother him. So, taking a deep breath, the boy simply grabbed it and pulled it off; blood began flowing out of the wound right after, but it wasn't a problem. Well, it was- that fucking blood actually got on his clothes and washing it away would be hell. Damned Confederation and their daringly manners, Yudai's clothes were brand-new. Pfft.

This would be a long travel, even at their pace - there was more than enough time for Yudai to mentally insult the Confederation, but instead, he decided to pursue conversation. Let they hear about the feats those red sages accomplished today. Clearing his throat, he'd move slightly to be within ear-range to both Mikoto @GrafRoy Zeppeli and Nori @Hatman1801.

"So, apart from the unusual Kekkei Genkai..." Yeah, Yudai heard that, he was right next to them. "And both Hyuga and Uchiha," That too. What a eavesdropper. "How it went, for you two?" The question was directed at them, pretty clearly. He even raised a vague hand to gesture towards each of these two. Whatever they answered (unless they insulted him or so), he'd just nod with a slight smile and possibly reply with; 'Good'.
An hour later and they finally arrived at their base. The large, metal door parted, revealing a secretary. Seijo paused briefly, gathering something from her, then announced that they might have a mission later tonight. Oh, that would be hell - Yudai thought that after an accomplished mission, it was time for glory, women and wine. Disappointing.

But exciting, nonetheless. He moved inside, together with the other red sages, immediately making his way to his personal room. In there, he got rid of his battle attire, standing only in his trousers. Then, he proceeded to open one of the drawers on his cabinet, picking up a first-aid kit from it. All he needed was some cotton, alcohol and bandages. After getting that, he returned the first aid kit there and sat at his bed. Slowly, he began cleaning the wound, wincing slightly. After he was done, he wrapped some bandages around his arm and voila, it was perfect. He felt as if it wasn't needed to bother any of the medics with his wounds, there would certainly be other shinobi who'd need it much more than he, himself.

Now, he began dressing into something... better. A long sleeved white shirt, simple all in all, with a pair of black cargo pants and a pair of simple boots. He rolled the shirt's sleeves up to his elbows and then folded the collar neatly. There.

And then, a knock on his door; he opened it, receiving an invitation to the conference room. Heeeeere we go.

After a few moments, Yudai had already made himself comfortable in one of the many chairs. His crystalline eyes stared up at the commander as she welcomed them, shortly after questioning if any of the present shinobi had something to say. He didn't, so he kept himself quiet - apart from the noises his chair made while he moved around to a more comfortable position.

Kaori Uchiha
Slowly starting to question Higoho's sanity
The Hamajõ Confederation

@KenyeIsMyLife
Kaori didn't buy his 'I'm fine'. If It was her in his place, she'd be curled up in a ball, in a corner, crying and claiming she had broken four ribs. Or all of them. Maybe this boy was tough. Well, one thing was for sure; he certainly had a keen interest in the 'Great' clans of Konohagakure. As if, the Uchiha wasn't seen as a great clan since a long time ago, rather, they were treated with utter disdain and prejudice by some, even. This, all thanks to the historical records of the likes of Uchiha Madara. Nonetheless, Kaori didn't voice this, instead, she just proceeded to say something more... social.

"Yep! They do, but a great clan's name isn't the only thing to make great shinobi, I'm sure." Well, she wasn't sure of what the hell she was saying, but she just felt inclined to say something like that, beaming a slight smile. Which, after his claim of only having a dumb brother, shifted into a slight frown. A long time passed since she lost her deceased brother - and honestly, she hardly spent any time with him to build any sort of bond, but still, he was family. Her mind then wandered to her older brother, Keiji. How would this attack affect his job? Hmm, maybe-

The thoughts were interrupted as Higoho Hyuga practically shoved Kaori and Tanji out of his way. What was he doing? Couldn't he stop being an imbecile for a single second? She was distracted and didn't catch the scene where he was previously insulted. The boy continued marching angrily towards an armored figure - and then, a loud noise erupted together with a cloud of debris and dust, which seemed like an earthquake had just happened in a single small area. Once it subsided, she could see Higoho marching out of said dust, he looked angry. She immediately looked at Tanji with a questioning look.

"Has anyone else taken his appearance?"

Naomi Uzumaki
Red Sages

Her retreat went uninterrupted, she wasn't even actively partaking in the mission, after all. It was her own decision to avoid direct conflict, only picking off Confederation shinobi that distracted themselves - and yet, only harming them sufficiently to drop their combat effectiveness, from a safe distance. Shurikenjutsu had always been her focus in combat and, while many underestimated it, Naomi always considered it very effective in any skirmish she'd encounter herself in.

She didn't gather with the rest of the Red Sages. In fact, she was actually a few steps ahead of them; she had retreated a bit earlier, since when the order was given, she was already far away. So as soon as her shadow clone disappeared and she was filled in with the information to retreat, Naomi did so and together with her speed, she made a rather quick way home, leaping from tree branch to tree branch all the while she glanced behind her to see if there was any known figure following. Apparently... Not, perhaps she had moved too fast for the poor soul to keep up.

Upon arriving the base, Naomi leaned her back against a nearby wall and took off the crimson mask she wore until now, judging it was safe to reveal her face now. She didn't do it back then because she didn't want to be branded as a traitor and rebel, especially given the high number of Konohagakure-nin and civilians present in the event that could later recognize her, if she ever went back home. It only took a few minutes for Seijo and the trope to arrive, emerald green eyes latching onto the figures following the Lady-Commander. There were many, but some specifically caught her attention; since when did the Red Sages began recruiting pretty faces and even with some versatility, eh?

The Uzumaki tied the mask she previously wore to her waist, letting it hang there. She still wore the dark red cloak which covered most of her form. Once the door opened and the Red Sages began to enter. She remained outside, which attracted strange looks from the entering members. Well, no problem. How long would it take for her cousin to arrive? Ah, Naomi also had to notify someone who's ranking was higher; she wasn't sure if he'd officially join them, but the way he said he wanted to help.. Well, probably would.

After noticing that Higoho wasn't attacking himself, but a poor soul disguised with a transformation jutsu, Kaori couldn't help but smack her forehead with her hand, weakly. It was honestly his own mistake, but Kaori still felt a little bad about the attack he took as response from the Hyuga- it probably hurt a lot. When the Hyuga continued, Kaori felt inclined to stop him, given there wasn't a need to continue the assault. She didn't though, as there was barely any time to do so; soon, the Hyuga just threw the boy against the wall and left, spouting that he was going to the compound and basically called everyone who was standing about an idiot. What a gentleman.

Once the Hyuuga left, Kaori moved next to Tanji, rather quickly. She took some time to analyze the surroundings, her eyes (and by her eyes, her actual eyes - the Sharingan had been deactivated a while ago) quickly scanning the area around her. The Red Sages were content, apparently, as they began taking their leave. With the exception of a man, a tall, broad figure that was threatening to attack anyone that tried to get past him. The funny part, is that the cat-like person wasn't threatened in the slightest; rather, it was like it didn't even take notice of how powerful that man seemed.

"Hey, are you okay?" After taking that hit, the answer was likely obvious, but oh well. Strangely enough, Kaori felt slightly tired and this feeling increased whenever her eyes passed past the remaining Red Sage. What's up with him? This is strange. After looking directly at him and then looking away, she could finally understand; her chakra was being trained by him, or rather, his eyes. A peculiar dojutsu.

She turned her attention back to Tanji as she began making her way towards the compound. Kaori didn't exactly felt like being standing around like an idiot.

Yudai Kageyama
Ame - Suna - Konohagakure border, inside the barrier
Red Sages

So, this was the end. The Red Sages retreated for now, but one thing was known; their mission was acomplished and in the end, they emerged victorious. There were many casualities for now, and if they didn't play it smart, the Confederation would've massacred them. Luckily, while the majority of the Confederation's shinobi rushed to battle in the event's grounds, Seijo, Katsuko, Yudai and a few others made their way to the Compound and in the end, Seijo gave the commander a decent hair treatment. Nice.

Yudai emerged from the ground a few meters behind Seijo and many other Red Sages, including Hisawaka Nori. Yudai had seen him a few times, but never caught his name or anything.

Moving at a faster pace, Yudai eventually landed next to them and increased his speed to keep up - there was a shuriken piercing the back of his left arm. He wasn't brave enough to remove on it's own, really, and it was stinging like a bitch. moving his arm forward, he twisted it slightly to take a look, some blood was oozing from it, oh well.

"Has any of you got a first aid kit? I'm bleeding and I want it to stop." Strange manner of speaking, monotome and he didn't even appear to be worried. He lowered his arm, the crystalline blue gaze focusing on the distance as he moved. He looked... Distant, as always.
The image looks gay, but it's pretty good. +1

Aroshima Sarutobi

The Red Sages

Naomi had no need to directly involve herself with combat. Even since the Flare signed the Red Sages to begin their assault, she stood behind and only picked off Confederate shinobi that had... well, let's say moved way too far from the center of the Harvest Event. The young woman wasn't wearing her usual attire, she was wearing a dark red cloak that reached her thighs and covered a good portion of her body, together with a crimson mask of a hare, with a red lightning in the center of it's eyes. Not pretty, but she decided to keep her identity hidden, opposed to the majority of the red sages who just began the assault with her faces showing to the whole world. For a good while, she was rather peacefully standing in her chosen place, simply overlooking the fight, analyzing the confederation's shinobis and her own allies. It was difficult pointing out who was winning at times; first, the Red Sages seemed to have a clear advantage, but it was only momentarily before the Confederation gathered their own forces and began defending themselves. Naomi moved closer, especially after an imbecile made the favor of putting up a mist that made impossible to see anything.

With a single handseal she used the Body Flicker Technique to move closer to the scene, while still somewhat safe (one could easily see her now, but mostly everyone was too distracted fighting). From here, she was able to spot: A Hyuga, with the Byakugan active, pummeling a poor Red Sage , an Uchiha, boldly charging onto combat to aid the Hyuga and a strange, white-haired boy that was using a technique Naomi had never seen before. The fight continued, and became quite intense, Naomi could tell. Eventually, the mist subsided and it was clear that the Red Sages fighting in there were retreating. Naomi followed a red-haired boy with her eyes, he looked girlish and showy, almost provoking in some manner. There was a civilian running, in the direction that Naomi currently was; a Red Sage followed him, slowly, but his pace eventually increased and it was clear that he was following the poor man. When he raised his arm with a Kunai in hand, a shuriken lodged itself straight into his arm. The man yelled in response and glanced up to see where it came from, all Naomi did was shake her head slowly from side to side, in a disapproving manner. She raised her left hand, an index finger pointing far at a Confederate shinobi who was clearly having an easy time defeating a red sage. The rebel understood the message and rushed to aid.

On the outskirts of the battlefield, the winds were blowing harshly, the streets were filled with terrified civilians, running from the scene of the battle that was taking place at the center of the Harvest event. It was a mess, truly. Standing on a balcony, a cigarette in his hand the young man known as Aroshima leaned over the railing, looking down. He could hear her snooze from inside, she was still asleep - good, it meant less awkward conversations. His tie blew in the wind, as he thought about this whole scenario. He was on the balcony of a woman who's name he wouldn't remember tomorrow, on the outskirts of a battlefield, truly, his life had spun out of control.

Attention was drawn to him when he heard screams from below, it wasn't the cries he had heard before - this was a 'help I'm getting attacked scream'. A shinobi in the confederate uniform was bullying an old man, the young man grunted, flicking the remnants of the tobacco out from the grasp of his fingers, watching as it sailed down to the ground. In the next moment, he moved, vaulting over the rail, he found himself in front of the uniformed soldier - he was a chunnin, like him. He probably knew his name, too, if he thought about it. They had probably met each other once or twice, maybe even had a mission together.

"Would you cut that shit out?" Aro asked, walking past him, his tie hanging over his right shoulder thanks to the strong gust of wind. The other man looked him dead in the eye, his hand still at the collar of the old man. "They were supporting rebel troops!" The man shouted, Aro nodded. "Cool. They're civilians. This is our village. Leave them be, there's you know, a fight going on over there, and you're on duty." The soldier grunted, and in the next moment was gone off to the battle.

Aro chuckled for himself, helping the old man up, getting mud on his jacket in the process. He shrugged, looking back over at the battlefield, deciding to get a better vantage point - he couldn't let anyone he cared about get hurt, after all, regardless of whatever side they were on. He climbed a rooftop in but a moment, using the body flicker technique to do so, peering out.

Green eyes scanned through the battlefield, slowly raising from the ground, onto the nearby buildings. There was a figure she knew, somewhat. Roughly. Very good - Aroshima, the son of the late Nami Uzumaki, or better put, Naomi's aunt and the woman who inspired Naomi's name. He was in a rooftop, apparently not siding with either the confederation or the red sages - what was he doing here, then? Naomi almost failed to care, but in the end, she was curious.

She adjusted her mask, she wasn't extremely close with her cousin, neither spent much time with him, but she remember that he was disciplined - and a very hardworking individual. He had points with her, due to that. Her attention was drawn back to the distance between the building he stood atop of, and the little mountain she, herself, was standing on. Not that long; she'd trace it quickly.

3,2 seconds, was all it took for the Uzumaki to appear a few meters behind the man, a kunai drawn in her hand. So, this was the time to check if all his hardwork had paid off, she at least wanted to startle him. A playful move, at most.

"Confederate scum, this will be your last breath." He would likely recognize her voice, but it was muffled behind the crimson mask.

The footsteps behind him made him begin to turn around, hand in his pocket where he kept his weapons. Turning completely, he saw the masked character move towards him, for but one moment, he considered taking action, but after taking a second to inspect the assailaint, he refrained - a manouver he was taught a long time ago. Standing still, his hand gripping his weapon inside of his pocket, he did not flinch as the kunai came towards his face, stopping but a few inches in front of his eye. "You're gonna poke out someone's eye." Aro spoke, his voice was tense, clearly - he had been a bit worried.

"Besides, you really should change your perfume. Could smell you from a mile away." he said, raising his hand from his pocket, lighter in hand, getting out another cigarette from the pocket in his jacket. "So, what do you know about this mess, Cus?" Aro spoke, looking out at the battle, the clashing of metal echoed.

She spun the kunai in hand, so the handle was pointing in his direction, instead of a threatening blade. Then, she lowered her arm and pocketed the kunai away, turning her gaze to the side.

"Two objetives. Capturing an alive figure of power - such as a politician and assassinating the commander." Her voice was cold, as usual, lacking any form of emotion. She was a bit disappointed, but she made a mental note to buy a different perfume as soon as this mess was done.

With a rather agile movement, she produced a kage bunshin, which stood next to her only a few moments before she made a vague gesture towards the main building, where the commander likely was. The clone rushed there. She'd then turn her attention back to her cousin, she was frowning at him behind the mask.

"Why do you insist with those cigarettes? They'll just shorten your life. It's not just because you've got Uzumaki's extended lifespan, that you should shorten it for something as futile as smoking."

He nodded his head, as if to thank her for not trying to cut his face off with the blade she had drawn. "I see. Sure it's in your best interest to share that sort of info with someone outside of the sages? I suppose we are family, after all." Aro noted, scoffing. She produced a clone, which scurried away towards the center of the battle. "Neat."

She had a tendency to point out his bad habits, and as usual, she questioned his smoking. He looked at her, with the glowing stick in his mouth. "What, it's not like I'll get cancer." He scoffed, it was a crude joke, really. One that he had punched someone else in the face for making. "Besides, they still my nerves. Speaking of which, you need any help?" Aro inquired.

The joke he made was bad. Pretty bad. But Naomi made no comments about it, only giving a very small shrug of her shoulders, barely noticeable in fact. "This information will become very clear after we complete these objectives. No reason in hiding them." She tilted her head to the left side, raising her hands in a questioning manner after he offered his help.

"Your help?" A pause. If he could look at her face, which gladly he couldn't, she was biting her lower lip while deliberating his question. Finally, she moved slightly closer and placed a firm palm on his shoulder, in a friendly manner. "Aroshima-kun, why don't you come with me? I'm not saying this as a recruiter would say to a possible recruit, but as your cousin. You are a capable shinobi and you work very hard for whatever you need, I don't want to see you being an expendable shinobi within the Confederation's ranks and neither another pointless nin without an objetive to trace." The grip on his shoulder became slightly tighter.

"Always so stoic." He scoffed, flashing a grin. She went on a spiel about how he shouldn't let himself be used by the Confederation, that he wouldn't let himself go down in history as just another man who did what he was told. But he wasn't really having that, neither side of it, really ."Truth be told. I'm not going to let myself be used by anyone. The Confederation is corrupt, everyone knows that, so I want to help." Aro spoke, exhaling the smoke while moving the cigarette away from his lips, aiming his face away from his cousin, to avoid her getting smoke on her.

Naomi removed her hand from his shoulder, clasping her hands together behind her. Her eyes widened slightly; her clone had just dismissed itself and instantly, she absorbed all the information it had gathered until now. Pleasant information, to say the least, but she didn't share it with Aroshima just yet, instead, she turned to him, her eyes questioning behind that mask. "So, how then, do you plan on helping?" A question was simple enough.

By now, the commander had been executed in public. The Red Sages were ordered to retreat, which many already did or were in the process of. Naomi feared a huge battle could erupt, as she could see a known member amongst the Red Sages getting himself ready to fight; Katsuko, and a general or something of the sort making.. it's first move. That cat-thing, Naomi never knew what it was, but it possessed power.

Aro could see her twitch a bit, as he assumed her shadow clone had just fed her necessary information, he wouldn't lie and say that he wasn't curious, because he was. But he also knew that he would be told in a matter of time, that was how things worked. Either by Naomi, or by someone else. Asked how to help, Aro was stunned for a second, he hadn't actually thought of that. He just assumed she needed something from him.
Grinning, he responded. "Not sure, wherever I can, really. I have a lot of contacts on both sides of the conflict. Just know, Naomi, I won't kill anyone." His words were warm originally, but when talking about taking someone's life, his voice grew colder than ice. He wasn't going to take the life of a friend - even if they happened to be on the wrong side of the conflict in this civil war in the making.

When he told her that he wouldn't kill anyone, Naomi's eyes closed, for only but a few seconds - but more than enough for him to notice. She recalled a scene from the back of her mind, but she was quick to shove those thoughts away. "Sometimes, killing is inevitable. But I pray that you won't ever encounter such situation." Well, her voice remained cold throughout this entire conversation. It has been this way since forever.

"Ah. The Red Sages are retreating, which means I have to, as well. Can't risk to loiter around for too long and get caught by the Confederation."

With that, the red-clad masked shinobi briefly stared at the man besides her, before she left. It looked as if she had simply teleported, but she had just moved at an immensively fast speed. Other red sages were also retreating, all at the same time; the order was clear, after all. The task was complete. Naomi just wondered what would be of her cousin, Aroshima. With that sort of 'life-rule' of never killing anyone... He would eventually end up killed, backstabbed by someone who's life he previously spared. It was just a matter of time.

A sigh.

She partly wished that he was following her and partly didn't. Oh well.

<Snipped quote by Nero>

Edited all the good stuff. YEY!
God above, help me: I shall not make more characters for this. I repeat: I shall not make more characters for this. (no really, last character i promise)

No one said she had to captured, calm down. Like, seriously, there's absolutely no need to act like that. I've already edited my post ages ago, he asked if he should go after her or not, case closed.
@Blue Demon @Nero

This was never posted though. I mean, I understand your concern, but objectively, as a GM, I'd have to say that that's a you problem and not a me problem.

But I'm a nice guy (and I understand that you don't wanna be touched by Yudai's filthy paws) however keep it in mind next time: you can't expect people to know something without it being posted.

Duuude. It's every girl's dream to be touched by Yudai. Look at him, he's a constant sexy-no-jutsu by himself.
@NeroI don't have a problem with your post... But as soon as the barrier came down, Umary would have left as she was ordered to. There was a fair amount of time for her to get off the floor and attempt to leave.

It's all Seijo's fault, unobservant pig. I'll edit it accordingly!
