@Kyrisse Yup, but sadly, after that little episode, it's going to go away for a while. New brain realized that things were a little crazy and chose to shut down part of his power until he's got some more control, then it'll spring a whole new batch of trouble on him.

Alright, so, you basically said people will suddenly have their full powers right? In Robert's case then, he's pretty much going to be mind-blasted into unconsciousness by oh.. 50-70 minds suddenly invading his when that headache of his finally bursts. Now, since we're doing full power. Then his ability to project thoughts into others mind ought to be there too.
Now, Robert's mind is going to be utterly incoherent, but what say you to a sudden blast of fear and confusion across everyone's minds for half a second before everything's right back to normal.
Super fast, super confusing, the only ones who should sense more than that moment of fear and confusion would be people with other mind-related powers (empath or something like that), the guy with astral powers if his awakened before Robert's, and possibly Jae since he seems to be the closest person (emotionally?) to Robert right now.
Should be fast enough that people wonder if they even felt it. The only thing weird about it is, that everyone in the bunker sensed it at the same time (unless they have some sort of mind shielding power)
It's a one-time deal unless say.. Robert dies. In which case it might be a mental scream, and then nothing.

I was planning to have Robert feel like he's hearing murmuring/auditory hallucinations and like something is squeezing his mind during the time he's got the "flu".
What it turns out to be would be the gradual development/awakening of new powers until it's fully formed on day 5 and the thoughts he hears are actual voices rather than vague murmurings.
Dammit.
Ah, to add onto what I was thinking before, I was thinking maybe Jae's fever would be way higher than the rest, but he'd still be as functional as most of the people (other than ones like Robert). And that would be the signs of his power. (Fever that gets worse the more he moves around, but isn't obvious enough for most people to notice (especially because Jae won't feel it))
