I suppose as... disturbing as the God Eaters are and the fact they are but 1 knightly order who probably does not even have 300 knights, it's not surprising that in a place of little communication that they'd be but stories, used to scare disobedient children and liven up the tavern...

1. We have a LOT of people from good old Eteria, most of whom from the capital(other than myself)
2. A surprising lack of resentment for the brigands, bandits and sellswords doing all the conscripting, as well as a lack of hate for the God Eaters who helped take it.
I'm just listing things I have noticed, nothing more. Thoug it was interesting enough to mention

@icmasticc I'm not saying they think less of the scholars! The odds of them ever deciding to attack them are slim to none... they don't use magic and can't fight, what strength is there to take from their flesh?
