Voss Agria

"I just bought an Exceed, Voss-sama. I will call him Fortune!"

"How... charming. Let's hope its name will prove true for this mission, yes?"

Well, that cemented it; things were not going to go well on this mission. Voss had hoped it would be different with an S-Class wizard on their side, but it seemed that no matter what, whenever a mission with a group larger than himself happens, some circumstance appears that tilts everything on its side, as it all spirals out of control, but who knows?

Maybe, just maybe, he could relax a bit. They weren't going straight to the mansion after all, he could have a nice evening before everything went downhill.

Objective: Chase down Sora, who knows whatever y'all looking for are there.

And of course, situations always had to arise that destroyed any of his plans which involved him having a relaxing evening, didn't they? As he saw both Val and Aiko chase after Sora while Grae did his usual of being unhelpful, or being a bum, as he calls himself, Voss simply walked forward in the direction Sora was sailing in. With two capable wizards after her, she was sure to be saved; any input on his part would just be unnecessary.

However, he'd rather go with them than follow Grae, being one of his main tormenters and cause of many an annoyance himself. Grae could handle himself anyway; if he couldn't, then Voss was sure he would be dead in a ditch somewhere, as his antics would have caught up to him. The group that went after Sora was looking to be quite far ahead however, so he thought that he should pick up the pace.

Voss heard a sinister voice in his head and an imagery of a snake consuming his naked body. "Let me out, brat!"

In the end, as he predicted, everything was fine.

Sora was safely secured while needing no effort from his part, and he caught up quite easily due to her motion sickness impacting her movement. Still, this experience made him feel a tad bit of pity for her as with every time her motion sickness took effect, she would never be able to experience luxury cruises or the like without it getting in the way. With a sigh, Voss went to pat her back as if to soothe her motion sickness, "There there, you'll feel better in a minute or so."

With nothing else to do, Voss idly looked up into the open sky, the stars shining as bright as ever. Call it blasphemy due to him being a celestial wizard, but beyond the practical aspects, Voss never saw any real connection or relationship with consolations. While he could appreciate their beauty, that was it. Of course, as he learned to read consolations, he found himself looking at them more often. Even if, like now, they didn't paint the best picture of what was to come.

Not helped by the fact that she was still doing her usual of giving a very good reason as to why not to let her out ever. At times Voss felt like putting her key in the pocket closest to his heart might have been a mistake, almost like she would somehow be able to stab into it at any time. But he would rather not subject his keys to the bad luck she's rumored to bring by putting her on his chain with the rest of them, or put her anywhere less secure to where the key might get stolen somehow.

So lost in thought Voss was that he almost didn't notice the feeling of deja vu that came over him, but it did well to knock him out of thinking anymore of Ophiuchus.

And of course, the moment he sat down and started to enjoy himself was the moment that the world decided to laugh at his attempts at trying to get a bit of rest for himself. Truly, he was foolish to assume that he could do anything without someone else intervening in this guild; it also made him wonder why he joined in the first place. Well, that was a lie, he remembered clearly about a child telling him it was open to new members, and him not really having anywhere else to go, but he could still complain about it!

First was Gray, who decided to waltz up and sit next to him for no apparent reason other than to ask for a cup, despite there being many people with many cups who would happily give them up to him if asked. Voss was already mostly done with his drink, but the principle of the matter still stood thanks to him siccing a horde of fangirls on him before he even stepped into the guild hall. Right when he was about to tell him that last he checked, Yusuke wasn't here, and that he in no uncertain terms should think about drinking by cupping his palms, he didn't get the chance as a rain of frozen swords impaled the area next to him, shame.

Voss could only internally sigh as Mizore descended towards him with the clear intention to talk, or at least tell him something for whatever reason. As always, he put on a polite smile as she got close and briefly wondered what she had to say to him before just deciding to do his usual strategy of politely dismissing her. Then she spoke up about a Mansion Raid, and his eyes immediately lit up (metaphorically, of course). Ignoring whatever Gray seemed to be doing on the ground next to him and every other thought that wasn't related to that, he locked in on how much he could possibly earn.

First of all, it was a mansion, Everlue mansion. The amount of jewellery and trinkets there would be enough for him to bathe in if he felt it. That didn't count for anything magical, which those rich types always had, alongside anything expensive in general that they did nothing but stockpile. The best part of all of this however, was that he would barely even need to do anything! Mizore was an S-Class mage, who realistically could stand up against her? All he had to do was hide behind Scutum while she dealt with anything; it would be free profit!

He almost, almost, didn't notice the key she slipped into his pocket. That would be a can of worms he could open up later though. Right now, there was money to consider! Maybe this was the world finally making it up to him after- no, wait, Ifrit, please, just this once, don't fight with her. Voss promptly decided to open his mouth to both defend his decision and actually inform Mizore of his agreement. "First, I would like to note that yes, I will partake in this mission with you, Mizore. And Ifrit, I assume that you didn't earn your coin by not taking opportunities when they presented themselves, and I'm fairly certain not much harm will come to me specifically. An S-Class mage will also be on the job after all."

As usual, Voss gave out a sigh as his fans circled him. It would have been better to just immediately head home after this job, he thought, but as that option was now out of the picture, he just tuned out the voices around him and made a note in his mind to somehow get back at Gray for this somehow.

The good news is that in his two years of being part of Fenix Tear, he got semi-used to getting swarmed like this, so with practiced movements, he weaved through the crowd and took a seat as he picked up some untouched lemon juice that was sitting on the table and began drinking it while giving a pleasant smile to hide how annoyed he was. Thinking about it, he should have probably asked Gemini to transform into him before he even walked inside.
Name: Voss Agria | Age: 19 | Race: Human | Rank: First Class Mage
Personality
Voss could be described as opportunistic, practical, and a bit egotistical. Most would call him money hungry, and they wouldn't be wrong, given how he would jump into a well if you said there was a loose coin in there, and yell at you if there wasn't one. And although he carries himself with a casual smugness that suggests he thinks he's doing everyone around him a favor just by showing up, he will stick by whoever he calls an ally.

This looks pretty fun. I haven't watched Fairy Tail in a while, but from what I remember, I liked it. So I'd like to try this out. If there is room, as 6 people have seemed to join before me
Hello there!

Not much to say really, I'm just a guy who found this and thought it looked interesting.
