So this had been the leader on the vampire front. Pieces were falling together.
Was the wolf woman working with or for him?
Martin went over the events in his head.
I haven't left a trail, at least not clear enough for them to have come after him.
Plus they knew #7251's alias. He hadn't mentioned that. So SOLDIER must have been informed by Purge, who knew of this on their own somehow.
Who even knew who their sources were. Could it have been a leak ?
But none of that helped any on the question how did these vampires get mixed in? By their involvement and organisation it suggests they were well aware of Voids recent escapades. But here the supposed war leader seems distressed by the battle. So they haven't had contact with him then.

Bedivere will explode into a seething ball of pent up rage and fury, deciding to burn the Countryside as a giant Red Dragon.

Inspired by a display of epic fire and rage the barely surviving Martin is inspired to retire and write a novel.
He becomes one of the most loved and hated fantasy writers of his time and is killed by an enraged fan years later just before he finishes his final book.
@Kurai Assassin
This chick has balls of steel.

Sorry guys, kinda forgot to post...eheheh...Gunna work on that now.

Oh it's too late, the world's already in shambles.
Kami fucked up yo crib.
Everyone's pushing Bedi's buttons and he's gonna explode any moment now.
We're outta fancy vamper wine!
@McHaggis
I think it reads as him adding to what your character knows.
He's saying he makes eye contact and that Taliesin can instinctively tell by this that he can see through her disguise but has no intention of outing her.

He's not technically controlling your character, it's still up to you what your character does with this information.
@thewizardguy
Ah IC, I thought he was more busted up by soldier and the werewolves.

@The Grey Dust
That's the way military application of machine rules are set here in our world.
machine lines up the shot, human pulls the trigger.
Who's to say Kami's creator obeyed those laws. He seems to be working along a system where Kami marks people as 'sinner' or 'innocent' beforehand. Then the algorithm shoots everything marked 'sinner'.
Something like that.
Martin looked around bored.
He saw very few to no movements, no tech.
He debated sneaking in after all, but it was still hard to immagine he's been standing here in full view unnoticed.
Then from the castle a figure emerged and slauntered over to him.
Matin studied the figure. Expressionless, slightly hunched over, moves lethargically, dead stare, human.
He waited patiently until the man was close enough and nodded curtly, hiding that he was happy to see the guard was a thrall.
"Good evening."
"I have to bring you in." grumbled the disgruntled thrall.
"I know."

The thrall led Martin to the castle while he followed silently.
While they walked Martin noticed they weren't going for the front gates but around the back to servant's area.
He studied the man further, copied his movements and dead eye stare.
They arived at a small door that lead to the kitchen.
Some thralls were handling a pile of corpses. No wait, they were still breathing, sedated humans?
A pair of other thralls were working on a variety of strange culinary endevours that look like they come from the requests of some strange and thus often old vampires. As sickening as this place was to Martin this was clearly the vampiric definition of fancy dining.
And the scale of it meant that Martin's expectations of a single old blood were pretty much shattered.
While he worked out if that was going to make this harder or simpler the fancy dressed thrall that had brought him had kneeled on the ground and bowed deeply, as if in deep faith or remorse.
Martin almost asked what he was doing, but maintained his facade.
Suddenly the thrall started to violently and rapidly slam his forehead onto unforgiving stone.
A splatering display of blood and bits of brain and bone decorated the kitchen floor as Martin faught the urge to stop him and stay in solemn silence.
A moment of silence for a broken slave.
Martin calmly picked up the corpse and set it aside and took a broom as if he was comanded to do so.
After cleaning up the mess he stripped the broken toy of it's clothes and donned them himself.
The thrall he unceremoniously dumped on the actual corpse pile.
His new atire seemed to demand him to be some kind of butler or messager so he walked off into the hall.
After navigating the castle for a few moments he found the dining area. When he wanted to walk in he immediately noticed a therribly dark and tense atmosphere. He decided for now to wait in the shadows silently and listen closely.

Good questions, I had actually been meaning to describe Mo's powers more OOC, I have been dropping hints IC though. So, she is designed to be much like one of my D&D characters that was a druid turned vampire. Just like D&D Druids, Mohowauuck is limited to animals from her native area (which is clearly listed in her CS, btw). Her shapeshifting forms are limited to animals found in North America during and since the times of her human years in the earliest native civilizations - estimated to be well over 10,000 years ago - this limitation keeps her from becoming too OP, no bengal tigers, cougars, Tyrannosaurus Rexes, you know -- more like bears, wolves, foxes, owls, N.A. birds, mountain lions, rabbits, mice, ants, etc.

Also, like druids in D&D (with a high enough level) she does retain her abilities while in wild shape. On that note, I would like to point out another limitation to her powers that has yet to be revealed, just hinted at. Mo's plant speaking and control of plants and the Earth is only effective when she is in communication with the Earth. The way she keeps in communication is through her bare feet on the Earth's terrain, her powers are very much so hindered if she is wearing shoes (which never happens), flying, on pavement, in buildings, etc...

Mohowauuck's comically named "colors of the wind" ability is unhindered. Her emotions and the weather/natural disasters remain connected all the time. It is pretty OP, but with a vampire goddess as old as her, you gotta have a little power-hungry fun. ;]

Also... @thewizardguy, can you clarify on the whole 'Gabriel is now a mayan god thing'? It's not that I don't approve, as my character also wears the face of an ancient god[dess] worshiped by humans, but if Mo were to recognize him as an another god, perhaps there could be some witty banter? :] I'll wait for your explanation before I post in response to Gabriel's drunken offense.

I had that druidy vibe. Almost called her shapeshift wild shape a couple of times.

Also, I almost stumbled over the mayan god line as well till I read it again.
Wiz writes how an NPC stumbles and falls over, which is strange because the NPC is a big shot mayan god.
So he's saying Gabe can use his illusion powers to subtly affect his surroundings to an extent that can make a mayan god look foolish.
A couple of unrelated questions:

Can animals become vampires? I assume they can't. But maybe carry it?

When someone sees your character McHaggis does he assume her to be male or female?

How badly roughed up is Kami from the battle at the airport. Aside from a short carride and a good pray he hasn't had much for recuperation time.

Can Mo turn into any animal? Humans?
Does she retain any of her other vampiric abilities shapeshifted?
(Same goes for other vampiric shifters.)

What's security like around and in the castle?
Low level vamps?
Charmed, thralled, illusioned or paid humans?
Camera survailance?
Nothing because who want's to mess with all dis?
I think Mo should totaly sit on his lap like it's a complety normal request.
