Current So I've learned that I have low-level adult ADHD, and that's helped me understand a little bit why I can never seem to stick with an adventure for longer than a month at a time.

I've started the process of writing an adventure book for my most ambitious GUTS+ campaign, and hoo boy, it's exhausting.

I'm attempting to make some one-page adventures for my GUTS+ system. We'll see how that goes!

I'm not a spambot, I'm just excited about my hard work on my app and I want people to not use spreadsheets to make conlangs anymore because that sucks!

Alright, cool! More exploration it is. There will still be battles, but I'll make exploration the main part.
@AtSixes: Sounds good. Looking forward to it! Ok, so I'm glad you're figuring out the item drop! Perfect. So now you have choices for what you can do. Do whatever you want and I'll provide the description! Also, I want to ask. Do you guys prefer exploring or battling more? It's your preference, I'll tailor the game to you. Let me know!
The Panicked Cactus stopped moving!
Victory!
The entire party earns 8 experience points. Inside the hollow husk of the Panicked Cactus, there was a Water Bottle. [Please decide who takes the Water Bottle in the next post.] The party took some time to regroup before moving on, Ronnie handing out Granola Bars (x2) to the injured Harry and Hans. "A true man embraces pain to make him stronger!" Hans shouted, his muscles flexing and his "R"s rolling, as he initially refused Ronnie's offer. Ronnie persisted, however, eventually shoving the Granola Bar into his mouth. "Yes, but a smart man finds ways to avoid it! Remember that, Harry!" Stewart cooed, brushing off his suit, which was already free of dust and not in need of dusting. "Oh my heavens, no! I've scuffed my shoes! Ruined! Ruined!" he lamented upon discovering a slight scuff on his almost mirror-like dress shoes. Once everyone was ready, they continued southward, and soon the wreckage was in sight. A large, metal orb about the size of a small house lay in a small crater in the desert floor, covered in deep dents. The smoke, which was now just a thin stream, was trailing out of what were clearly shotgun shot holes near the top of the orb, and different colored glass panels made two perpendicular rings all the way around the orb, many of the panels cracked or broken completely and revealing shattered light bulbs. A circular opening in the side of the orb seemed to be the only point of entry, and its hatch lay open on large, heavy-looking hinges. Upon closer inspection, two sets of footprints could be seen running east...
Hello I made my character if anyone wants to take a look at him.

I personally think it looks good (and am thrilled that someone picked up on the "opposite" of the magic-less Ampharians), but the decision is up to Golem.
Is the cactus dead yet?
Lord Santa
Almost! Just one more hit will do it, check my last post. I had a crappy time with the NPCs, rolling only 1s!
The Panicked Cactus is wishing it could run away! [Rolled 1] The Panicked Cactus tripped over its roots as it tried to run away and fell down on its...face? It's hard to tell. Anyway, it lay trembling on the ground, juices dampening the desert ground. Hans runs to the Panicked Cactus and grabs it, preparing for a Suplex! [Rolled 1] The Panicked Cactus' spikes dug deep into Hans' skin as he squeezed trying to lift it, causing him to cry in pain and release the Panicked Cactus. Stewart, now without a hulking body to hide behind, yelped and threw a rock he found on the ground! [Rolled 1] The rock traveled only inches from Stewart's outstretched hand, useless.
"That wasn't very nice at all!" Ronnie shouted, pulling out his hammer and rearing back to prepare a strong swing. [Rolled 6] SMAAAAAASH!! Ronnie's hammer knocked off one of the Panicked Cactus's arms, severing it where one of Isaac's knives had previously cut! The Panicked Cactus seemed hollow inside, but it kept running around, though a little slower and still silently flailing its remaining arm. "Oh! Good show, old bean!" Stewart shouted, peering out from behind Hans' back and thrusting his fist into the air.
Hi there, I was hoping someone could help me move my Epics 'n Awesomes topic (http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/75607/posts/ooc) from the Roleplaying Discussion forum over to the Articles & Guides forum. I was also wondering if that's doable without breaking/changing the current URL? Thanks for any help!
The brackets look good, I think! I did the rest of the turn since they're all NPCs, so the next turn can start. And if anyone else wants to make another character and jump in (AtSixesAndSevens, I'm looking at you!), then go right ahead! The adventure is fresh.
If you want fully-fleshed out characters but don't want to make them all beforehand, maybe you could just create the characters as you come across them in the story. Flesh them out only as they come. That way you won't have myriad unused characters just sitting there. That's generally how I make my NPCs, which is probably not the best but works for me. :P Anyway, it sounds like the scale you're looking for would fit much better into the Nation Roleplay forum, in case you didn't already know that. I'd recommend looking at how some of the longer-lived ones in that forum do their structure and army management, because it sounds more or less like what you want, except perhaps on a more macro scale. You could potentially combine the normal roleplay strategy with the macro scale strategy with the leaders doing battle with big baddies and occasional comments or even focuses on the army's (or whatever a unit of fighters would be called, it doesn't really matter) progress/status in battle. It would probably be hard to keep track of, but if you're determined and organized enough with your notes, I think you could do it. But yeah, interest is always the hardest thing to garner. Maybe if you turn it into a more general RP and use all of the elements from Bleach (explaining them along the way), you could appeal to a wider audience than just Bleach fans?
