Current So I've learned that I have low-level adult ADHD, and that's helped me understand a little bit why I can never seem to stick with an adventure for longer than a month at a time.

I've started the process of writing an adventure book for my most ambitious GUTS+ campaign, and hoo boy, it's exhausting.

I'm attempting to make some one-page adventures for my GUTS+ system. We'll see how that goes!

I'm not a spambot, I'm just excited about my hard work on my app and I want people to not use spreadsheets to make conlangs anymore because that sucks!

Right now it's not aggressive, but if you hit it, it will become aggressive and there'll be a fight. I will hint that there is a peaceful way around the situation, but Harry has that right now. It's 100% up to you if you guys want to fight it or not, but I'll tell you that you will most likely level up if you do. Other than the plant right now, you still have the upper room to explore and the back room (behind the ladder) within the orb ship.
@thanatosDefiant and @Lord Santa? You guys still here?
The explosion completely obliterates the monsters with a resounding 'Kaboom'.
[Rolled 6] The explosion leaves a deep crater near the well, but the well remains intact! Some more giant, round, bat-like monsters with one eye and huge, fanged mouths flying above avoided the explosion and begin to swoop down to attack!
Do include your roll number in the post, though, alright? It's easier to keep track of and I think it's fun to read what's happened as it happens.
Sorry, that's my bad. I forgot to roll them before I posted the first post. I re-rolled them and you ended up coming up first this time, so no harm done!
Alright! @Gisk, @Derpestein, and @Bleu Chess, the first scene is posted and your power numbers are set in the first OOC post! You may begin taking your actions in order of your power number (highest to lowest)!
[Game Start] The king, shaking himself out of his stunned disbelief, quickly shouted to everyone to help get water to put out the fire. It was questionable at this point whether the people ran out of the courthouse because of panic or to get help. You are all in the currently burning courthouse. You run out of the building to help get water from the closest well. As you approach the well, however, you notice monsters approaching from just beyond the well, and the men at the well already frantically trying to pull up water do not notice them! The monsters have already plowed through some people on their way, as evidenced by the smears and splatters of blood trailing behind them. Just as the men get their haul of water to the top of the well, the monsters are upon them... (In this first scene only, you can't die, even if you roll a two.) And here's a convenient link to the dice!
@Bleu Chess: Looks good! We can get started on the game now! :D Also, @Gisk, @Derpestein, and @Bleu Chess, can you all please move your character sheets over to the Characters tab? Thanks.
Haha, no problem! I know it's hard to remember to do, especially since it's in another tab, but I think it's helpful to be able to see what you've got all in once place. :)
As Harry pulled the lid off the terrarium, the plant started reaching upward to try to get out, but as the green liquid fell into the terrarium, the plant seemed to... relax. That's the only description Harry could really put to what he saw the plant doing--it was relaxing. The liquid filled up about a centimeter of the terrarium above the dirt and remained there, not soaking into the dirt. In fact, he noticed that as he poured it, it was much more viscous than he had expected it to be, like a thin sauce or something. As he watched the relaxing plant, he noticed that it seemed to begin absorbing the green liquid, and as the liquid absorbed into the plant, it grew. Its fleshy, green stem thickened, and its little leaves broadened and grew jagged around the edges. It was like watching one of those time lapse movies of a flower growing but a sci-fi version where the plant was getting kind of scary looking and started reaching out at you. The plant kept growing and growing, sprouting a large, sunflower-like bloom on its top and breaking through the bottom of the terrarium with roots that started reaching for the floor like fractal tendrils. It kept on growing until its roots reached the floor and the plant lifted itself off of its pedestal. Its body was now thick enough to be visibly straining against its glass enclosure until
*POP*
the plant burst the enclosure, scattering tiny pieces of tempered glass everywhere but doing no harm. The plant stood before Harry, noiseless (because it had no means of making noise--it's just a plant after all) but menacing, stretching out its new "arms" and slithering along the ground on its tendrils, its "head" looking around for its liberator.
