Current So I've learned that I have low-level adult ADHD, and that's helped me understand a little bit why I can never seem to stick with an adventure for longer than a month at a time.

I've started the process of writing an adventure book for my most ambitious GUTS+ campaign, and hoo boy, it's exhausting.

I'm attempting to make some one-page adventures for my GUTS+ system. We'll see how that goes!

I'm not a spambot, I'm just excited about my hard work on my app and I want people to not use spreadsheets to make conlangs anymore because that sucks!

Emilia thought she heard something before she started walking again and turned to look behind her. She saw a woman running after her. Panic suddenly swelled in her chest, but instead of running, she froze up. She didn't know who this woman was, but she had been conditioned to always be obedient and to not run when she felt danger. It felt wrong, but she didn't know how to get around it—maybe there was a potion that could help with that...

She had to shake herself out of the thought, and by the time she came to, the woman was standing next to her. Emilia clutched her pouch and asked, "Ehm... Can I help you...?" Her eyes darted around, as if trying to pull her body from where it had frozen, but she couldn't move.

A few minutes passed, but the woman had apparently lost her in the crowd. Relieved, Emilia stood stone still, still unable to move. Some members of the crowd bumped into her for a while, but eventually she loosened up and continued on her way, realizing that she had not been breathing the whole time.
@Mara Velrose, be sure to post a character sheet for Amara when you get a chance! It can be basic if you want-just at least a description of her so we know what we're looking at when our characters talk to her. :)
Sure thing! Here you go: roleplayerguild.com/topics/86339-the-e..

It's not really much of a story in and of itself, but if you have a character you've made for anything that could fit in the theme and you want to develop that character and see how they'll act with different people, then it's a good place. Or if you want to make and develop a new character! It's up to you! :D
Hey welcome! This place has a very wide variety of things and is built specifically for online roleplay with separate tabs for different things (which is a lot nicer than you might think!) and several different categories of roleplays!

If you want to start easy and like general fantasy/steampunk, I have an RP set up in the Free section called The East Market that's mainly just for character development and world building in a small area! If you're interested, check it out! If you can't find it, let me know and I'll give you a link. :P
Meanwhile, a few blocks away from the pawn shop, the lady in the royal blue dress, Emilia Lindsley, still felt unsettled by her brush with that jester at the pawn shop. She looked back over her shoulder, continuing to walk across the market. She had what she needed for her friend's birthday, but the market was just coming to life. Maybe she could find something else interesting for herself. She thought it was too bad that she couldn't stay at the pawn shop. It looked like there were a lot of really interesting things there.

She looked at the ring she had bought, admiring it simply for having some sort of magical property. She stopped next to a stack of large, wooden crates and looked around, as if expecting to see her parents coming to take the ring away. When she was sure they weren't around, she slowly, carefully slipped her finger into it. Just as the man at the pawn shop had said, the ring automatically adjusted itself to the perfect size for her finger.

"Wow..." she said, a deep desire to see more magic welling up in her chest again. She pulled the ring off and continued on her way. Maybe she'd come across a shop with more magic trinkets on her way home.
Name: Emilia Lindsley
Appearance:
  • Slim, brunette, wide-set eyes, small round face.
  • Tall (about 5' 11"), spindly. Long, thin fingers.
  • Early 20's.
  • Only wears fancy dresses and carries a matching parasol.
  • Usually sneering.

Personality:
  • "Girly" in the stereotypical sense but self-conscious about it.
  • Trusts no one except her childhood friends.
  • Hates attention, severely introverted.
  • Illiterate and bitter about it.

Additional Info:
  • The daughter of a wealthy nobleman.
  • Her mother always wanted her to marry a prince, but she is not interested in any kind of relationship.
  • She's deeply interested in magic but her superstitious parents always forbade her from ever having anything do to with it. Once when she was young, they caught her pretending to mix potions, panicked and sent her to a nunnery for three years to "cleanse her soul."
  • The nunnery she went to forbade reading the sacred texts, so during the time that she would normally have been learning to read, she instead was being taught how to cook, clean, and be polite at the nunnery.
  • Speaking voice color.
Well in the meanwhile, I'm going to start another character elsewhere in the Market. Whenever you return to the pawn shop scene, please specify where you are talking and (as the rules say) make it obvious what character you are writing for so it doesn't get too confusing.

Thanks!
"I know some friends that are builders. We can do some renovating? Also Jester, are you going to take the offer for the dagger" She sat on the counter and glared at the Jester while smiling happily swinging her feet too, She detached Durandal and gave it to Humphrey " Would you mind if this stays in your Room, I want it safe and I trust you with it, Humphrey.

"I'll talk with my neighbors and see if I can buy the floor above me from them! I think they only use it for storage anyway, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll give you an update as soon as I make a deal." Humphrey smiled and took the sword, "Certainly, miss. Just don't forget it—though I'm sure you never would."

He took a few steps to the door behind the counter, opened it, stood the sword against the wall just inside the door, and closed the door softly, turning back to Crapsy and asking, "Or if you're not interested in the dagger, I can help you now! Did you need anything from here?"
Oh I'm definitely digging this Akkina and Humphrey partnership, They a team now!! XD

Yeah! I think it'll be pretty cool! :D I know I'd take that offer. My pick of whatever I want at a fantasy pawn shop sounds freaking awesome!
" My name is Akkina Farron, And thank you for the purchasing of Eucildator, I will aid you in any way I can. Is there any amenities and my quartersi up a floor. She looked around and then strolled over to the Jester and softly grabbed a dagger from her waist and spun it around so that the hilt was facing him " I'll give you this for Two Thousand "

"Well Crapsy, numbers are numbers! That's a mighty fine looking dagger, though! If you've got the coin for it, I'd suggest you buy it quick!" Humphrey smiled.

"It's great to meet you, Miss Farron! I'm Humphrey Winheart, but there's no need to be formal with me. Just call me Humphrey. As for amenities, I unfortunately can't offer you a bed. All I've got is a bed and a pantry of my own in the back room. No upstairs accessible from here—the only access to the floor above is from next door. Very odd construction, this building..." Humphrey scratched his head, "So anyway, I'm quite sorry, but you'll have to fend for yourself to find a place to sleep."
