Been a while. I still haven't gotten around to Roleplaying. Maybe that will change. I wouldn't count on it.

“Transformation is my favorite game and in my experience, anger and frustration are the result of you not being authentic somewhere in your life or with someone in your life. Being fake about anything creates a block inside of you. Life can’t work for you if you don’t show up as you.”

I have been a Roleplayer for several years in many different place. I've experienced all forms of RP in my decade of Roleplaying - ranging from 1x1 RP, Nation RP, Combat RP, and the list goes on and on. I am not all that into RP as I used to be however if a good opportunity presents itself for me I just might jump into it. I may have experience in years, however I am always learning as I go along and nothing I do is perfect.

The goal of RP the end of the day is to have fun and enjoy what you are doing. If you don't enjoy it, don't force yourself to do it.

While the main colony was being set up, the fully loaded and heavily armed treasure ships continued on their way towards various nations (every active player nation). A white flag was raised below the national flag to show that they come in peace and wish to trade, not to attack the nations (despite their arsenal).

The treasure ships that land in the Yahupi Confederacy are met by several armed warriors who pointed spears and muskets at them, they didn't fire just yet. They weren't happy with outsiders being on their land that was for sure. "COME OUT! UNARMED!" a particularly tall Yahupi soldier shouted.

_

The ones in the Federation were met by a few soldiers aswell, who had guns lowered but ready just in case. They ask for whoever is onboard to come out.

"Statistically, we need a data to show what is your current level of society when comparing to us." said Darston after looking through his documents about a basic understanding of the Federation. "Let us tackle the education system first and beforehand. Maybe this segment need a certain of improvements, and then we check the social infrastructures needed to accomplice." said by Darston.

-------

The first wave of Veilletes marine invasion has succeeded in holding a position of Yahupi's island coastal line. The Yahupi defenders have faced a few things that they never seen or heard of the new Veilletes toys they brought onto their lands, and so turning a small skirmishing incursion, into a pointless death of massacre until a last Yahupi resistance (from a single island) has dropped dead onto their feet. The Veilletes have brought in some sort of a metal beasts that can go fast and kill fast (known as the AFV) that shredded some poor Yahupi musketmen by their light autocannons, and their outdated muskets will not be able to penetrate the ferocious metal beasts or throwing spike-balls no matter how hard they tried. It's not just the metal beasts that they're worried too much in Veilletes first naval invasion, but feared by their latest infantry equipment that seemly brought from the AA's land military manufactures. Armed with a variety of weapons that goes from shooting a hundred times faster than Yahupi ranged soldiers (Machine guns, Assault rifles), hit harder than a musket ball (Rifles, Anti-Material Rifles), and can create explosions at a whim of their designated aim (Mortar, Bazookas, Grenades). These soldiers of Veilletes marines were also fitted with a hidden armor inside of a deceived ragged clothing (armor vests) and can be communicating by as far or more as any Yahupi strait means of communication (radio).

Once the Veilletes marines have secured the beaches, they're going to send a missionary (along with escorts) through the harsh jungles and attempting to subjugated the local Yahupi people to fight and defect their own cause by their own Veilletes religion. Since the reasoning behind those motivations of the means to subjugated the people does have many reasons. One, the Veilletes Military Force aren't that big and have to rely on technological advantage or gather many local people as possible to fill in their ranks. Two, the integration of the new indigenous people under Veilletes Republic will be much easier later on, and lastly but not the last, it's basically follows a similar path and glory just like the Militarian-Veilletes Empire once were, and so repeated their past history but at a different scale.

The Veilletes marines have started their outposts and establishment of new coastal towns in order to solidified the claim on said island and whilst expanding their Veilletes naval free trade network.

"I agree with the notion that the education system can be improved. It is good, but it can be better. As for the infrastructure, from what we know of the Veilletes Republic we need to do major things there aswell, mainly roads and transportation routes aswell as civilian structures. The military is doing quite well, though." stated by the Commander. "We will also be wiling to allow our ports to be used for Veilletes trading ships, and to encourage business and trading there." he asdded.

_

All of the Yahupi warriors that were fighting against the Veilletes invasion force were taken out quite easily, though a few of them surrender to join the Veilletes. They decide to do something a little more effective, and start to burn bridges and infrastructure that would be useful to the Veilletes Republic if captured.

Though, all slaves pretty much defect to the Veilletes ranks aswell as some Yahupi Officers and soldiers who see no hope in winning these battles. Eventually at some point some of the Yahupi just start to betray their country out of fear of those loud explosions and things they have never seen fighting against them. Though many still stay loyal.
I will be ceding the Yathon to Hokum instead.

They more or less agreed with what Darston, the Resident General said. They nodded in agreement. Charles Backhouse has taken his turn to speak for now, and not the Commander himself will speak. "So, as for these social and government reforms...what might they be?" he asked, inquisitively. The others at the table took a few notes about what was being said, before one of them took a drink of a glass of water.

Meanwhile in a research center somewhere a pair of scienists were analyzing and going over the finds from expediton #776 near the Rolonov Mines, in the State of Misoz. The site was quarantined and these blue stones were removed from the area.

The leader of this investigation was currently at a meeting with a few of his associates in an nearby room about what should be done about these stones. They had decided to further investigate these stones and see if they are valuable or useful in any manner. They might make a good profit to the Federation.

One of the scientists suggested to the group that they would do a chemical composition analysis about these stones.

After this, no known elements were found, however they resembled a form of Apatite and some other form of crystal.

One of the scientists looked at it under a magnifying glass. "The amount of light coming from these things is astonishing, Daxston." she remarked.

"Indeed. What are these things? Some form of ancient artifact?" another scientist asked.

"Doesn't seem like it. If they were an artifact, they would probably have symbols on them, or a more angular shape. These things look raw, whatever they are." she stated.

"Well then. Lets continue with that streak and hardness test, Sydney." he said to her.

She unlocked a drawer on a nearby shelf and pulled out a fresh glass plate, aswell as a streak plate which was a small and flat white slab. She set these 2 things down, the other scientist walked over and sat down on a chair next to her. He took a silent whiff of her longe blonde hair, it smelled like...some form of flowers? She didn't notice this though as she began her test. She took one of the stones, which was about the size of a clenched fist and scratched it across the glass plate. It definitely scratched that.

Moving on, she scratched it across the white plate which left behind a brilliant Azure blue streak on the streak plate. "Harder than glass, blue streak. Lets see what else this can scratch. I'll see if it can scratch Quartz." he stated and got up from his chair and picked up a piece of quartz which was sitting on the counter. He took it with him as he went to sit back down on the chair.

He sat it down on the table they were working at and scratched the blue stone across the Quartz. It did indeed scratch. "We now know it has a hardness stronger than that of Quartz." he said.

"What should we name it?" the other scientist asked.

"Hmm...lets name this stone...Undasite." he replied.

"Sounds good enough. Lets continue with our tests." she said.

Suddenly door opened in and 2 of the head scientists of this investigation walked in. "What have you found?" the shorter, fatter one asked, glaring at them through his pair of glasses.

They relayed the various information they have found to the 2 who just walked in. While one of the superiors was talking to the other, one of the scientists touched the blue stone and held it. It had a slightly electrical feeling. She could feel...water but there wasn't any water there. She held it for longer and the stone seemed to glow brighter. For some reason she couldn't look away as the glow got brighter and the feeling of water increased and increased until there was a bright flash, which blinded some of the other scientists who were looking at what she was doing.

She was blasted back by a force, though that Undasite stone still remained clasped in her hand. She had passed out.

"Greg, get a medical team in here. She might be hurt." one of the scientists said. Greg, walked out and proceeded down the hall to get the attention of the medical staff who were in another area of the building about this incident.

Meanwhile, the scientist who had passed out was in a dream. A blue dream. She was floating in water, water was all around her. The sunlight from the 'surface' above illuminated the water. It was salt water, she wasn't drowning but simply just floated there for a few seconds. That is when she saw a blue light in the deep, down there...down there...

It was calling out to her. She swam towards it and before long she found herself next to a blue, glowing sphere. She reached out to touch this sphere, it felt perfectly smooth and cold. She could also sense something within this sphere, some form of presence within it. She didn't know what it was. That is when she awoke.

She awoke on a medical bed. She must have been taken away. They asked if she was alright, and she said that her head hurts, pretty bad. She had to stay here for now, doctor's orders.

She felt different. She just...felt different. Its not a painful different, its the unknown sort of different. What were those blue stones? Sydney questioned within her mind.

Meanwhile, the Federation advanced further into the northern Yahpi territories. Though, no slaves were alive as they were all on the ground, shot to death before they could ever see the light of freedom. The invading Veilletes forces were met by flaming spiked cannonballs and musket fire along with screaming Yahupi warriors chanting various religious chants as they fought. These Yahupi were probably quickly defeated though some of them hid in buildings and in bushes, when Veilletes soldiers came by they shot and slaughtered them mercilessly. The Yahupi won't simply be defeated without a long, hard battle.

As the UFO arrives in Federation territory, it can see some sprawling cities and towns about the area. These people aren't very advanced by the looks of things, though their architecture is something to at least be somewhat impressed about. People looked up in curiosity, wondering what those glowing lights in the sky could be. What could they be?

<Snipped quote by Aceofreality>

"Very well. I'll gladly send you some latest equipment of the Republic in pursuing the Yahupi Confederacy for the national prosperity. Also, the Resident General will be committed and arrived to your capital soon in a given advice on how to modernize the country. Listen to him closely and choosing a right choice will made a progress of your nation, but as long as the people aren't pro-traditionalists or anti-modernization of course." taught by Veilletes Ambassador while orderly placed his documents into his file bag.

In the meantime, we're currently lacked a field of our doctrine, the land military and thus unable to send a margin forces to seize control of those islands. So don't expect a sizable reinforcements from the Republic and only given a small allocation of troops by 25,000 volunteering infantrymen to the colonial front, excluded the navy and the airforce." Told by the Veilletes Ambassador about their army standing.

"Lastly and before I'll return to an office of ministry, if you need more fighting capabilities against the natives, there was some mercenary contracts from Alfieq's Army that I do bring along during this negotiation trip, where foreign paid soldiers are willingly to fight for food and money in return of their military services. So, if you need more manpower, you may ask the Resident General to set the contracts for those AA mercenaries to combat against the Yahupi, but as long as your economy might've able to sustain that long enough to defeat them before crashing down... All right, that's all I could've asked for, and see you in the next diplomatic event." said by the Veilletes Ambassador explaining about Alfieq's Army MERC contracts before he packing up and leave the capital.

The Ambassador nodded. "Acknowledged." he said to him. The ambassador sighed once he was gone. "I sure hope I have done good..." he muttered to himself, thinking about what will happen to the Federation in the future. The Veilletes Republic would be a good Ally to the Federation, though this Modernization process will likely take a good amount of time, plenty of land to Modernize in the Federation.

The Ambassador sent a letter to the Commander and his associates about what the Ambassador has managed to work out with the Veilletes Ambassador. Once he arrives at the capital he can see that is large and grand, and many people here seem to live a 'lavish' life style in luxury. Though he and his associates are met up by a few officers and soldiers who show them the way to the Commander's building, named the 'Laxion Building'. Named after one of the great warriors who fought against the Yahupi when they invaded and enslaved his tribe, he survived and managed to foil some of their invasion plans, but unfortunately he was killed by a lone Yahupi soldier a few years ago.

In the Laxion building the Veilletes Ambassador and his associates are met by the Commander's guards who are in black and white military uniforms. These guards inform the Veilletes Ambassador and his people that a meeting is scheduled soon. Once the meeting starts a little while later they are taken down a hallway and to the right. 2 big double doors, in very elegant style are entered on through. Inside is a large round table. The Commander and his associates were there along with a few advisors. Guarding the doors to another room were 3 guards.

The people sitting at the table looked at the Veilletes Ambassador and his associates as they sat down at seats they were directed to. The Sub Commander, Charles Backhouse took a sip of a glass of water before clearing his throat.

"So...about this 'modernization' process? How do you invision this process to begin?" he asked, politely.

(I hope I am not overstepping my creative freedom here.)
<Snipped quote by Aceofreality>

The Ambassador of Veilletes Republic had pulled his documents containing the proposals and presidential degrees for the Federation.

"The proposals of premises to the Veilletes Republic were unconscionably stated as follows:

First proposal, opening ports and sea for our merchants to get through the strait, and the establishments of Veilletes Shops and Markets at your coastal cities. In return of accepting this proposal will not only granted access to our wares, but also granted permission to set afoot at the Veilletes home ports (e.g Erksterm) and thus so your people can start a business there with a minor foreign control.

Second proposal, the requisition on claiming some island pieces within a strait for setting up a Veilletes trading ports by under our rules of governing. Here is the bastion demand of the Veilletes Republic as the map crossed for a future compensation:

Third and a last proposal, the insertion of Veilletes Resident General at your government body. His/her duties within your government is to become an advisory, and the representative figure of the Veilletes Republic as to reduce the time needed for communication inbetween two distant nations. He/She is also responsible for overseeing the progress of modernization to your country, but at a cost of limiting your power on foreign relations with other nations/factions if you've accepted this proposal." said the Veilletes Ambassador.

The only thing that the Yahupi soldiers can only harmed the VNMS Trionator was their sailors roaming around the ship. Not their best moments of combat nor the Veilletes sailors at the VNMS Trionator, both were on a stiff close-ranged combat between a manned automatic cannons, sailors with rifles vs the Yahupi muskets ravaging all over the ship. Unfortunately for the Yahupi soldiers boarded at the VNMS Trionator, many of them were killed by those said weapons and even worst, they're highly disorganized when attempting to fight against a ship that can carry up between 1200-2000 crewmen onboard, and half of them are complemented with a basic self-defense weapon (e.g rifle) to ward off incoming boarders.

After with some bloodshed, the VNMS Trionator had lost a few numbers of their crew, around 80 men died to a Yahupi boarding raid. But with a swift ramming by the VNMS Trionator has managed to escape from the Yahupi infested strait and now on their venture way back to the colonial state from the north.

Map update (Veilletes minor colony expansion):

The ambassador nodded to these proposals. "The Federation would deem these proposals acceptable. Though for the 2nd one, based on how the Yahupi action's are. The land will probably have to be under strict occupation to keep any dissent under control. We will cede those lands to the Veilletes Republic when the time has come, and it will arrive shortly due to our most recent advancements." he stated, and signed a few of the papers he has had, deeming these proposals to be offical actions.

_

The Yahupi at this point are at a major loss. They kept firing on the VNMS Trionator as it left the Yahupi straight, though they gradually turned around and went back to the port they came to get repairs. On that island that was fired upon by the VNMS Trionator, reconstruction begins there.
<Snipped quote by Aceofreality>

"I don't know why you're interested to see me for the first time, but nonetheless the case, I have three proposals for you on behalf of the Republic." said by the Ambassador while searching through his file bag.

----------------------------

The VNMS Trionator has repositioned itself and going for a formally retreat by attempting a ramming speed through those fireships. It's may be a worth of a risk, but it's the only way to exist the Yahupi Strait in a short amount of time.

The ship whistle has horned, the crew are position themselves on bracing for impact, and the small caliber cannons are ready to dissuade the Yahupi fireships. The VNMS Trionator has started its full swing and suddenly throttle towards them without warning.

Bonus:

"What may these proposals be?" the Ambassador asked, leaning a bit forward in curiosity.

_

One of the ships was rammed and another was badly damaged but made it out fine enough, though they will probably sink sooner or later. The various people on the deck of the ship try to board the VNMS Trionator while shooting at anyone they saw there. Chances are these people got shot too though they did whatever damage they could. The ship was completely a wreck in the water a few seconds later and all hands were lost. The other ships barely managed to get out of the way and they slowly redirected course. As they redirected course more muskets and flaming spiked cannon balls were shot at the VNMS Trionator.
<Snipped quote by Aceofreality>

"Alrighty then. I'll send the messenger back to the southern colonial government to send an ambassador.. for.. something.. in return of having a good relation while possibly an access through the east indie." said by the Veilletes Explorer.

--------

The flaming cannonballs does eventually hit directly at the VNMS Trionator, but being bounced off with a small scratches on its metallic surfaces and a splintered fracture of a wooden deck. In other words, no damage has been taken from a ship by an outdated siege weapon in two eras behind. The Yahupi muskets doesn't fare too well against a metal battleship as everything were reflected off by the plate of armor, some of those shots landed inaccurately onto the surface of an ocean, and ultimately in the end, just only manage to wound a single sailor openly exposed from VNMS Triotanor side deck.

"THAT'S IT! These natives just have scratched my fudging 2 days paint job already!" Angered by the captain.

"Captain! We've reported that one of our crewmen has been hit by a gunshot! He's now carrying back to the medical ward for tendering his wound." Called upon by the 1st Commanding Officer.

"Attention to all gunners, manned all the secondaries, prepare to return fire at those flaming weapon devices and smoldering the rest of their inhabitants!

Repeat!

Manned all the secondaries, prepare to return fire at those flaming weapon devices and smoldering the rest of their inhabitants! Over and out!" Ordered by the captain while ringing by the ship's alarm.

The VNMS Trionator rotated their secondary guns at the facing of one of Yahupi islands and beginning to fire High Explosive rounds at them without mercy. This eventually causes some destruction of natural floras and faunas of the island as after taking a few land hits, turning a whole place into a conflicted zone.

The Officer nodded to that. When the time arises and once that ambassador has arrived at the embassy building he was directed to he is met by a representative at the government. Apparently those soldiers had told the others about these explorers they have encountered. The representative is a somewhat short and stocky man in a red and black uniform. His name was Daniel Withboro.

"Ah, its good to see you. Please sit down." he says, making a motion for him to sit down at a small table with 2 chairs. The room has various maps and stuff of the nation, the Ambassador's personal items and other such things.

_

The soldiers and men stationed on that island had no time to react, the last thing they heard was a big booming sound of the missiles and such exploding. The entire island was decimated and all of those people dead. The island was left a smoldering ruin. Those of a nearby island see this from the distance in shock and anger. They know this will happen to them if they attack, but they have got to do something, a letter is sent out to Cheif Tutanabo personally.

The chief was extremely angered by this assault, and he ordered a few warships to infiltrate the area where the the VNMS Trionator came from, though they make landfall nearby to the southern territories. These ships look like harmless trading ships however they are manned by various skilled individuals and these ships are loaded with fire throwers of sorts. They don't attack yet.
