Current There's this amazing webtoon called Bastard. 10/10 recommend for highly developed plot & characters, unique story, and tons of suspense. Check it out if you like thrillers.

I remember when I didn't know that sites collect data and search history to personalize the ads they show you and I used to get really scared that they knew what I was thinking about

Name: Allie

Nickname: Als

Age: 16

Bio: Allie had a quiet life growing up in a small family of four, nothing out of the ordinary ever happening except the occasional flu. The whole family was quite reserved, all members enjoying the comfort of books, silence, and each other. They didn't care for the whole party scene, and no one ever went out until one night a few years ago. Leaving Allie and her elder brother home alone, their parents decided that they all deserved a special occasion, and were going to go pick up steak and lobster at the classiest restaurant in town. The two siblings waited for hours and hours, but their parents never came back. Despite Allie's pleadings, her elder brother left her home to follow their parents' trail. He never came back either. Allie lives alone now. She wasn't sent to a foster home because she never told anyone what happened, and their neighbors knew that the whole family was introverted, so questions weren't asked. She never found out why her family disappeared.

Personality: Quiet and reserved, as she's been her whole life. She's very nice to others though, and can be quite helpful if asked. She tends to be a people pleaser.

Fear: Heights (more like hitting the ground from high up and dying)

Other:
Allie eventually came to the conclusion and let out an exhausted sigh. "And then I came here." She scratched her head a bit in embarrassment, feeling she had talked way too much. Her embarrassment then slipped into an uneasy grin. "See? I talk a lot too," she joked, playfully bumping her elbow against Jon's.
(Totally. xD)

Allie waved the comment away. "I didn't mind that it was a mouthful. I love hearing stories." She grinned. "That's good that you don't have any regrets." Taking a breath before she began, she started talking about herself. Her life before, how she was turned, what powers she had. She even explained the origin of her tattoos, and why they had appeared on her.
Allie paid close attention as Jon spoke, watching him with a quiet intensity. She liked how he spoke, how he formed the words and how they connected. His story interested her, and at the same time, she felt saddened that his human life had been stolen from him. She made sure to nod as he spoke, to make sure he knew that she was giving him her full attention.
Allie smiled, straightening her posture a bit at what she hoped was his acceptance of her. It got lonely without any friends. "Of course." Looking at him, she asked, "What's your story? Not your species story. Your real story, who you actually are."
Allie smiled at Jon. "I felt the same. I figured I needed to make some friends anyway." Her eyes followed Ace for a moment as he transformed and hopped off of the chair, but then rested on Jon once again. "I just wanted to let you know that I don't judge you for what you are. Really, I don't." She smiled once more. "I thought it was really brave of you to admit that to everyone."
"Jon, why did you decide to come here?" Allie asked politely. She was curious. Honestly, she almost didn't come here herself. She was afraid of others not liking or accepting her, and wanted to see if he had felt the same way she had. She was glad she had come though. It had to be a lot healthier living with others like you, than judgemental humans.
Allie got herself a bowl. It didn't fill her up, but it sure was tasty. She smiled at David and put her plate in the sink. "Thank you, it was quite delicious. I'm reassured now that we won't starve here." She sat back down at the table, pleased that everything so far was going swimmingly. Hopefully, it would stay peaceful like this for a good while.
"Ah, I understand now," Allie nodded. She watched Jon as he got up and rinsed his dish. She felt terrible for him. It couldn't be easy, not being able to control yourself at times. She decided she'd say more about herself. "I'm a lot like a vampire, but Djinn do something differently. Instead of just normally hunting down humans and taking their blood, Djinn have two choices. They can either use their powers to put their prey into a peaceful dream, or a nightmare. As the humans are in their dream, unaware of what's happening to them, the Djinn feed off of their emotions and blood until there's nothing left. I've always put humans into a pleasant dream, but I've never drank enough to kill them. I wouldn't be able to live with myself."
Allie nodded. "A werecroc, huh. I see. No wonder you didn't want to talk about it. I'm impressed that you had the courage to tell us." She gave him a small smile, then looked over at Ace. "Wow, you've actually turned into a werewolf before? I would never have believed it if you hadn't said so yourself. And I won't call you one again, I promise." She thought about what the others had said. "Nekos, a pureblood vampire, a fey, a human who can turn into a dinosaur. We sure do have a lot of diversity in here."
