Description

Just your everyday run-of-the-mill maiden overflowing with hope shifted to another world whose culture is foreign to her. Having lived most of her seventeen years with little struggle, she soon finds herself enmeshed with the inexplicable dangers that the unaccustomed land brings, most of which may be too much for her fragile state-of-mind to bear, ultimately putting her convictions to the test.

Appearance Description

As with most high-school girls around her age, Priscilla is somewhat particular with her image. A fairly petite young girl at 5'2'', Priscilla has pale-white skin, long, salmon hair in the form of twin-tails at waist-length, and a pair of peach-hued eyes. The attire she donned on her "trip" to this new world was her school uniform; a loose white blouse atop a pinkish red skirt, with a longer white skirt and white thigh-high socks. She wears a red ribbon on her collar, decorated with two white poms on each end and above her shoulders she is covered with a cloak of similar color to her upper skirt.

Personality

"Everything's going to be alright. Take my word for it!"

Generally an outgoing and warm-hearted girl complemented by her vigorous temperament, expect a loud "Heyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!" from Priscilla whenever she is in your vicinity. She is well-known for her copious amounts of friendliness, enthusiasm and the generosity to provide time to those who needs it, famed at school as the resident "Student Counselor". She gains gratification from this specialty of hers and is quite proud of it in fact; quoted above is her own catchphrase. She faces her trials and tribulations with a naive positivity, eliminating the menial endeavors that don't matter at present and facing them as they come.

While this personal philosophy is one of Priscilla's greatest strengths, it is also her greatest weakness. A double-edged sword, if you will. When faced with a grave, inexplicable threat way beyond her control, the mask of positivity that she so proudly wears drops and breaks with little-to-no resistance, revealing a facet akin to a helpless puppy. At best, she'll be a mental mess, uttering her catchphrase like a mantra, in a vain attempt to reassure herself. At worst, she becomes catatonic. In the end, Priscilla is an oblivious young damsel matched with a fragile mental fortitude.

Bio

Born to an affluent family in Germany, Priscilla Rosengarten has lived a normal, everyday life. At an early age, she became more and more independent, being able to cook as early as five years old. Her father being a famous chef, she had learned the ropes of culinary arts from him. At this point, it wasn't difficult to determine which path she will take in the future, though she answered her father's wishes to continue after him being "Let's wait and see, dad. I'll have destiny help me decide what I want to be in the future!" She inherited her late grandfather's philosophy about optimism and enthusiasm, and up to this day his motto was unforgettable: "Face life with undying fervor, and there is nothing you can't accomplish."

She hasn't delved too much in the concept of fantasy, only having consumed a fair bit from her mother's storytelling of fairy-tales. She isn't an avid fan of anime or manga like most youths, which most fantasies derive a depiction from in the modern ages. While she doesn't dislike them, she isn't particularly fond of them either. Despite this, she is rather passionate about destiny, and that everything happens for a reason.

Having reached adolescence, Priscilla became curious about the notion of romance. However, she does not actively seek for it under the belief that she will fall in love when the time comes. She has received a few confessions here and there at school, rejecting all of them with that reasoning.

One night, Priscilla receives a foreboding dream out-of-the-blue. Let's face it, most dreams are inexplicable. But this one... To say it lead to a life-changing event would be an understatement. And when she opened her eyes, it didn't take long for realization to kick in; Priscilla Rosengarten was no longer in Germany.

Throwing my interest as well. It's been a while since I watched Re:Zero but I can recall most of the events and plot elements.

Bonjour.

Guten tag. Name's Althiel, or Al for short. I'm new to this site, having travelled from the kingdom of IwakuRoleplay miles away. I've been roleplaying for about five years now, and still pretty much suck terribly at it. My hobbies include memeing, slacking, gaming, being a weeb, and motivating myself to write and failing horribly. Wait, hold up... Where you goin'?! I was joking! Well... half-joking at least. I must say I've been pretty rusty these past few months. My penchant for being absorbed and addicted by various mediums tend to keep me away from writing, on top of being a professional slacker. Wow. Best introduction 11/10. Here's to praying you're still here.

So uh, I'm usually a pretty friendly fellow; sarcastic and will shitpost on your DM's for a living, but I like getting to know fellow writers more. That being said, I'm also a fragile individual who takes petty insults to heart and shakes like a tree whenever I get involved in some pretty heavy backlash or criticism. Please take care of and go easy on me, but don't be afraid to speak out if we're gonna have an issue. There's more to me, maybe, but you'll only find out once we have a civil friendship. That which primarily consists of memes. Lots and lots of memes.

Now that that's outta the way, roleplays.

To make it short and sweet, I'll summarize my preferences in a single sentence: "Althiel loves tropes, is a sucker for shipping, and primarily utilizes anime or art-styled characters as his Face Claims." Originality is great too, don't get me wrong. But the characters and plot that I tend to create rely heavily on tropes and try to make it as colorful as possible from there. Not a big fan of using RL Face Claims, as I haven't dived on that realm and not really a big fan of it.

As for genres, I favor romance (if it wasn't obvious enough by the above statement), adventure, modern, fantasy, supernatural or a mix of any of these which are fairly common. I can hop onto other genres if interest is high, but I generally end up sticking only in the aforementioned categories. Sci-fi is a bit much for this shallow fellow so it is, most of the time, a no-go for me.

I like to dabble on either one-on-ones or group roleplays, as I can have other people plot for me more heads are better than none. I can write me a good two-three paragraphs per post, so I can at least say with certainty that I'm immediate-level.

Er, I think that's pretty much it for me. At the moment, I'm in need of a motivation to write a character. But for that I gotta find a good plot first. Or perhaps we can work something out together?
