That would mean understanding both characters.

@Whiskey Business

May I suggest adding a Skills section to the sheet? That kind of be important to know.

If found, please bring this elf back to the Marquee Percival Damon-Cowles of Annistead

Silme [seel-may] Dúlin [doo-leen]

Moonlight Nightingale

Age: 29

Height: 5’6”, 167 cm

Weight: 125 lbs, 56 kg

Build: Slim

Race: Elf

He didn’t quite fit the picture of a wanted criminal, nor did he quite fit the picture of the quite fearsome assassin the legends of Snowy-Eyes painted him out to be. He was actually kind of short, and he didn’t dress like someone who was afraid or hiding, despite his talents all pertaining to the shadows. He actually seemed to revel in the throes of life

Choosing to instead wear a captain’s hat or something like a captain’s hat, a leather vest, and leather gloves, with leather riding boots. Military like breeches, and a emerald green tunic underneath his coat wrapped by a lighter yellow emerald sash.

Cinched in by a waist belt for his knife. Around his neck was a bandanna wrapped around his adam’s apple and most of his throat, a triangle shape formed over his chest piece, with a simple small chest plate around most of his sternum, with his coat off you’d notice it’s fastened with leather buckles and straps.
*His breastplate is not a full size breast plate. It really is built for a lith, slimmer, humanoid form, because he’s smaller than a human is, his breast plate is smaller, and doesn’t sit across the first upper torso. His breast plate is more similar to a woman’s breastplate, but built for a man’s “broad chest” [considering he is so lith he isn’t that broad] it sits across to protect the heart, the lungs, and part of the ribcage. But his abdomen is slightly more exposed since the sash sits more around his middle torso, and lower torso.
Here's a reference, but the chest piece metal and I am keeping the leather piece around his waist, he simply disguises it with the sash.

His snowy blond hair was cut short, it though was quite wavy and didn’t seem to want to be tamed with any techniques to make it look presentable. His eyes were indeed snowy, a beautiful, shimmering, youthful gray that almost glinted like the polished steel of a blade.

Personality Strength

Ironically he didn’t give off much of a criminal vibe to those who knew him or grew to know him. His quiet, demure nature was not one he had purposely chosen for himself. If he could speak, he’d probably be described as a calm, strong willed and strong hearted individual. Who strive for his own personal identity and independence.

Nothing to condemn him about. He didn’t even seem to have any thrill in the deaths he caused. Some would say that he seemed quite sympathetic to the deaths he caused, some accounts who don’t paint him as a monster portray him praying or something like it in his own way to his victim’s bodies.

But none of that deterred him to get what he wanted or reach for what he wanted. Silme always looks forward never in the past, he always has his foot forward towards the future. Someone who seeks atonement. If perhaps he was not an assassin who took to the shadows, some would have considered him a brave and loyal knight. But most see him as a disloyal shady character, even though all of his actions say much more.

His willingness to aid those he sees as part of his clan. His willingness to help others. To show forgiveness, even mercy. A lack of cruelty brings serenity to his silent demeanor. He laughs, but silently, with others, he cries with others, he is not devoid of emotion. He seeks justice. He seeks atonement and seems to want to do good.

He can also be very generous and very sweet, respectful, charming even in his own way.

But no matter what he shows, to some they see him as a nefarious and shady character and the stories about him and his Snowy-Eyes becomes more and more monstrous the more and more mouths speaks the story they heard from their aunt who knew a guy who knew a woman who heard for her son who knew a witness what he had done.

Personality Flaws

No matter what Silme wants to be and who he is are two different things. It doesn’t take away the things he has done or is willing to do to cross his achievements. While Silme may be kind, and generous, tenderhearted, and sympathetic. He may lack cruelty. It doesn’t mean he hasn’t done horrible things. Nor does he seem to want to correct them either.

Because he always has a foot in the future, he barely looks upon the past of what wrought he has brought to others lives. Silme believes the actions he is now taking will atone for all the sin and pain he has caused. While few would criticize Silme believing his actions some kind of redeemable noble cause, Silme shows little in the way of regret once he has set his mind that he has atoned for it.

Countless men who have fought war, would grovel at the horrors they have caused, the sea of blood they drown in and can never wash their hands of blood. It either is that Silme is so narrow minded he cannot be tormented by his own actions or that Silme so believes in his cause to atone that he is not bothered to look at the horror he has caused.

And despite Silme striving to atone for his actions he continues to actions that make others bat an eye. He kills without batting an eye. And only after he kills with a cold heart does he pray for his victims. It seems a bit backwards and wishy washy. He doesn’t seem to do it for cruel malicious reasons like he enjoys the thrill of killing, but in the moment of life and death he sees them as mere obstacles first, then people second which unnerves some.

His quiet disposition, not a choice of his own, also makes it hard for those to question his morality. Because how do you argue morality and ethics with a mute, who could have a difficult time trying to explain complexities of life through pictographs and hand gestures in the form of signed language.

It’s also hard then to understand what is going on in Silme’s mind in these moments because he cannot express them with words to formulate his thoughts. Only through the gestures and actions he takes.

Silme not a cruel individual. He barely accounts for aloof, because his enigmatic nature only comes in the form he cannot speak his ideas so easily. While not cruel, he is ruthless and efficient. And some mistake that as malice and cruel.

Sweet fantastic. Off to make my human trafficked sex slave Elf woman and her young child then.

The thing is this, the Human kingdom with only humans is going to choose someone as a slave force, and it more than likely would be the Elves. The Orcs are too dumb, Dwarves are loners, and any other race coming along would put up too much of a fight. Human trafficking or really elf trafficking could be used for a few things;

Exotic beauties working in the gentry as servants and slaves, make rich people look even more fancy

To be fair taking lessons from histories, Elves might even trade other elves into slavery especially of the noble kind when it comes to commoners for more land or influence

And face it a Human man is going to have some exotic beauties to hem hem
@AngelofOctober That all seems to fall in line with the general idea I had in mind about them. In terms of the complexities behind superior-sounding vs rudimentary, can you give specific examples?

Yes.

A rudimentary name, may describe either the place they were born, what time of day they were born, may even describe the color of their hair, or may describe an animal that is their spirit. Or even, like they do in Japan, represent what order the child came from like "first son" "first daughter"

You know weird elf stuff. It should be noted, that any U are pronounced "oo" , Dh is like a "th" sound in these or this. And CH is pronounced with a K.

An example of a rudimentary common name may be;

Tuilinn [too-ee-linn] which means Swallow

Tad [tahd] means Second [implied second son/daughter]

Where as more complicated, Noble Elf names may follow this pattern. This is traditional in both Tolkein's work and another work in another fantasy novel

The first name an Elf receives in his/her life is the “Father or Mother's-Name.”

The name itself is usually made from one of the parent’s names. If the child is a boy, it will be fashioned after one of his father’s names; if it’s a girl, it will be fashioned after one of her mother’s names. It is not unheard of for girls also to have names fashioned after their fathers’ or boys to have names fashioned after their mothers’, or to have a name fashioned after a grandparent’s name. This name is sometimes based off of who is more well known in the family.

The name can be modified later to better fit the personality of its bearer, though it will still be modeled after the parent’s name.

The next name an Elf has could either be his/her “Mother-Name” or the “Chosen-Name.”

There are three types of Mother-Name;

This sort of name may come from a vision the mother receives in the hour of birth. This sort of vision isn’t all that common, so these names are rare and important gifts.

The second type is the “Amilesse Apacenye,” or “name of foresight.” She names her child from a "vision of the future".

The last type comes from getting to know the child as his/her personality develops, which means it could come after the Chosen-Name.

The last type of name, called the “After-Name,” or “Epesse" Most of the time, it is little more than a nickname.

In practice it would look something like this;

The name Aegnor (pronounced [ˈaeɡnɔr]), is a Sindarized form of his Quenya mother-name Aicanáro or Aicanar ([aikaˈnaːrɔ]), meaning "Fell-fire", apparently given with regards to his character. His father-name was Ambaráto (in Telerin Quenya), meaning "High Noble".

Aegnor Ambarator "high noble of fell fire, or son of the high noble and fell fire] and you could argue Egnor [the way his name was spelled in the books] could have been a nickname.

@AngelofOctober I don't have a set concept for that. I'm open to suggestions.

Well it honestly depends on how you have the races setup. Which goes back to my other question. So for the, Human Only Kingdom. And this is not going to be a nice historical fact I am about to bring up. Do they have a servant work force? And if so, whom? To produce good you need a strong labor force and slaves are much cheaper and easier to use than say actual paid workers. Sure you have your peasants, but they work the fields. What about your plantations? Trade negotiations. How about in the castles or for the gentry?

For the equal race kingdom. You could easily setup like they do in other works. Names that reflect class. The Noble Elves in high power, gain more complex names to show their worth and superiority. While the Common Elves in no position of power could have rudimentary names.

And depending on who you have decided to be the slave labor in the human environment, slave names.
@Whiskey Business

So, what naming scheme would the Elves use?
@Whiskey Business

Thanks. So, then in that case? Why would anyone join them? How hefty of a fee? And being part of the Sword Seekers that desirable considering their negative reputation as conman?

How desirable is being a sword seeker then?

Also, what are race relations like? Like how much do the species get along? What shady deals and goings on do when it comes to race?

@Whiskey Business

So, maybe I missed it. How does one get recruited into the Sword Seekers? Maybe I am a little tired right now, but I read it over again. But can't seem to find that information
@AngelofOctober Yeah, that's cool with me!

Sweet then the Elfy Corvo shall be born. lolo

@Whiskey Business

I was out being busy. But I'll get onto a character. Here in a second. Going for a stealthy elf.

Actually, would something like a DnD Arcane Trickster be possible? I know magic is limited, thus the Arcane can be limited, not like casting spells and things like that.

But think like Corvo from Dishonored the first game, with limited powers.
