What he said (:
Hey, so my dog had his eye removed a couple days ago because of a tumor and I have to take care of him, so I might not be able to post like everyday or so but I should be able to keep up and check on here everyday. So, just thought you guys would like to know.

Aella glanced at the simple candy bar dangling in front of her face from the younger girl’s fingers. She couldn’t have been too much younger than Aella, perhaps a fourth or fifth year, and had an unfamiliar face. However, Aella never noticed too many students, preferring to keep to herself over the years. The brunette didn’t think she could stomach a chocolate bar, considering her delicate mental state was causing inner turmoil in the form of acid, but at the same time, she had the option of making a friend. Of course, Aella had friends…just not friends that were around often. It was probably this thought that drove Aella to accept the candy bar from this near-stranger, popping a small chocolate piece into her mouth.

“Thanks.” Aella muttered, even as she felt the sugar dissolve into sick acerbic liquid in her gut. At least it tasted good momentarily.

Aella closed her Sudoku book and placed it to the side next to her, gently setting her pencil on top of it, hoping it wouldn’t roll away like every other pencil she owned. “Um, hi. I’m Aella Strand. Puzzle extraordinaire.” She thoughtlessly picked up the Sudoku book again and waved it, the soft pages waving in the air and creating a flopping noise. When she threw it back down, she belatedly realized that her pencil was nowhere to be seen.

“Anyways, what brings you here?” Aella asked innocently, and then almost smacked herself in the forehead. “I mean, duh, school – but, err, why are you up this early?”

Out of nervousness of social interaction, or maybe just the thought of upcoming school days, Aella felt her mouth dry up. She licked her lips slightly, but felt herself blush at how stupid she must have looked. Part of her wanted to get up and walk to the kid-friendly bar to get water, but an irrational – or maybe not-so-irrational – fear of tripping in front of everybody stopped her. Aella wondered distantly if others could sense her anxiousness and soon after the thought crossed her mind, it became a dominate worry. Did she look like a neurotic freak? Would this potential-friend notice her awkwardness? Would she laugh at Aella or, worse, openly mock her?

Aella could imagine the situation now:

“What’s the matter, Aella?” She would say, a fake concern gleaming in her eyes.

Then, Aella would say, “Nothing, stranger!”

The stranger’s eyes would then crinkle and her mouth would become a sinister grin as she would crow, “Are you sure about that, basket case?”

And then the whole room would laugh at her!

Aella pinched her leg, telling herself that she was just creating a scenario that would never happen. This girl was probably nice, sweet, yet the brunette was waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Welcome to RPG (: I hope you have fun!
sorry to hear about your dog! will you still be able to post today?

Yes (: I'm just about to work on one~ It might take me awhile because I will have to get up every now and then and lead him outside or to his food, but I will have it up today.
Quick question: I may have just missed it in the OOC, but what's the rooming situation like? Do they share a room with everyone in the year and house like in Hogwarts, or is it two per room, or?

Ah, I actually used to have that in the OOC, but I think I exed it on accident a while ago. Anyways, it is four to a room, everyone posseses their own corner - mind you, they are very big rooms, so don't worry about space. (: Every corner has room for a bed, night stand, and a small dresser.

Also, common rooms usually have desks and tables for studying.

I also wanted to tell you guys that I might not be on 24/7 like I usually am due to my dog just having his eye removed due to a tumor and I have to watch him until it heals. But I should be able to come on every day, just not update/post everyday.
Hey, so my dog just got his eye removed the other day because of a tumor and I have to watch him really closely while his stitches heal, so I might not be super active - though, I should be able to keep up. Just thought you guys should know in case I go a couple of days without posting.
Thanks! ^_^ and I can't wait~
I will have a post up tomorrow~
And, when the two anonymous boys jumped into the conversation, Etsuko was faced with the biggest issue she had with people: their sudden need for confrontation. Of course, the talking bothered her, the constant need for companionship, peer pressure, pretentiousness and everything else about humans annoyed her greatly, but at her core, their aggressiveness made her wish she was a tiger instead. Tigers hated everyone and everything; but, most importantly, they were solitary creatures.

When the two boys approached, immediately jumping at the chance to degrade Keigo for a simple joke – an unfunny one, but still a joke – Etsuko had half a mind to speak up. However, no matter how much she hated these undeniable facts about humanity and how much she just wanted to yell and punch everyone in the classroom, it was against her nature. So, she carefully tried to slink away, her foot sliding partially to the side, until an annoyingly warm hand latched onto her arm, seeking comfort that she didn’t want to give. Etsuko shot Chiasa a look; it seemed indifferent enough, but on the inside she was boiling.

“Hey, idiots, leave him alone. He was just kidding!” Chiasa hissed, squeezing Etsuko’s arm for assistance. “Etsuko-chan, tell them.”

The strawberry blonde blinked slowly, taking the time to cool her nerves before opening her eyes again and nodding tightly. “He was.”

She hoped that would have been enough to cease the situation and sent a quick prayer to God, despite not being religious in the least.
