I'm interested, but I feel as if you're having a WW2 based roleplay with massive theatres and battles taking place, you should make the amount of slots larger. Just my thoughts.

Hello fellow Roleplayers, thank you for your time, for I have a keen idea for a Roleplay to share with and propose to the lot of you.

Having recently ended a World War II movie binge that consisted of "Kelly's Heroes", "The Great Escape", "Wind Talkers", and "Saving Private Ryan", I have been inspired to create a long term Roleplay set within the hellish setting of the Second World War.

This will be a Character Roleplay, with each player creating a single character for themself, and then doing all that they can to ensure their characters' survival throughout the war, as well as watching the backs of their brothers in arms and carrying out their duties to the bitter end, wether that be their death or the destruction of the Axis Powers.

It won't be easy, in fact it will be a long, hard slog onward to Berlin and Japan, and it will not come without a price of blood and despair.

Now, with that charming introduction aside, out with the details.

YOUR CHARACTER

Hider

Your character is a recently deployed infantryman that has little to no field experience and absolutely no record of combat whatsoever.

The only true restrictions aside from mandatory infantryman placement is the ranking branch, which is from PFC (Private First Class) to Staff Sergeant. However, as the Roleplay progresses your rank can increase, provided your actions in combat situations merit such.

The highest potential rank in the Role-play will be Colonel.

Your character will also be eligible for commendations and medals, should of course their actions in combat merit such.

As for the MOS, or specialty of your soldier, it spans across a diverse list of options such as Rifleman, Medic, Combat Engineer, and so on. A detailed list will be provided in the official OP thread.

Throughout the course of the Roleplay you will find yourself thrown into a vast course of hot-spot events, wether it be borderline skirmishes, full bore line penetration attacks, defensive battles, or hit n' run fast attacks.

It's up to you to fufill your duties, follow your orders, keep your mind clear, and stay alive.

AN ISSUE FOR DEBATE

THE ISSUE

Tis a simple question for debate; The European Front, or the Pacific Theatre?

This issue is open to discussion and voting, and is really the only issue to be addressed before I boot up the official OP.

Should the voting outcome demand the European Front, then our characters shall be members of The Big Red One, fighting through the hell that is Normandy Beach on D-Day, and onward through France, as well as Belgium and Holland, and eventually onward into Germany itself, kicking down Hitler's front door.

However, should the vote lean superiorly towards the Pacific Theatre of Operations, then our characters shall be Marines who find themselves surviving the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor, fighting through the jungles of Guadalcanal, and saluting the raising flag over Iwo Jima.

Either way, there will be more than enough fun and destruction.

Once this issue has been voted on and resolved, provided enough interest has been accumulated, I will then release the OP thread.

I'm aware that this interest check is not very detailed and rather patchy at that, but this is more or less for attracting interest and players.

Far, far more detail and information will be divulged in the official OP Thread.
This includes of course the official Character Sheet, the ranking system, pay system regarding rank, R&R between missions and battles, and posting order.

Class: Black Mage; a practicer of the darker side of magic and arcane arts, including necromancy, profane rituals and spells, sinister alchemy formulas and recipes, and wicked illusion and conjuration spells.

•A keen, sharp, jagged edged, Orcish dagger which he keeps sheathed in a hidden slot in his right boot.

•A dual-edged, sharp tipped, well polished, 3 foot short sword with a wide guard. It is also enchanted with a ward of durability and strengthened metal. An Ogre could smash it with a war hammer and it would remain in tact and unscathed.

Armor: Padded black leather armor that includes bracers, shin guards, and breast padding that he wears over the long flowing black robe that adorns his gray skinned figure.

•A green jade pendant with a leather cord that is laced with small black beads. The pendant has a crude grinning skull carved into it. He keeps it tucked away beneath his robe top.

•A small gold ring band with a black onyx stone which he wears on his right ring finger.

•A silver ring with a red ruby which he wears on his left ring finger. He stores magical energy within this enchanted ring to draw from when faced with a duel or battle.

•50 gold pieces in a small leather coin pouch he keeps tied to his robe belt.

•A small alchemy recipe handbook.

Hailing from a small region far to the South, Valmont Marthar has journeyed far and wide from one realm to the next in search of greater power.

Some one argue that his power is already greater than most could wish for.
This however is not satisfactory enough for Valmont, who wants no less than to possess the power of a lesser god at the very least.

For well over a decade now he has journeyed from one reach to the next, and from one coast to the other.
He has trained under and with many different practitioners and masters of the darker magics such as warlocks, witches, dark mages, black alchemists, and dark magician covens.

Even now as a High magician, he is still far from satisfied, and continues his travels in search of ever growing power and mastery over the Arcane arts.

His family and friends long forgotten, Valmont cares only for knowledge and understanding.
His heart has iced over with cold uninterest in forging friends or finding love, and his mind and soul burn with greed for stronger powers.
He cares only for himself and his own future, and no one nor nothing else.

His journeys have him here now, to this strange land.

And to this mysterious tavern and it's rather peculiar owner.

Certain there is much he could learn from this odd realm and it's strange inhabitants. He plans to stay here for a nice long while.

Sly Cooper~The Rings of Tyranny (2 SPOTS AVAILABLE) (18+ ONLY)

Hello hello, and thanks for dropping in;
Now then, with pleasantries aside, on with the business at hand.

I have decided to construct a Sly Cooper Fandom.

This Roleplay will be a 3 person Roleplay.
This includes myself and two others.

The "casting" will be as follows;

CASTING

Myself(Ardiax)-Bentley the Turtle, Carmelita Fox, and all other NPC's, such as rival thieves, gangsters, police, ect.

Partner #1-Sly Cooper

Partner #2-Murray "The Murray" Hippo

And now for the setting and plot outline;

The time-dating setting for the start of the RP is a year and a half after the events of the first game, or 6 months prior to Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves.

The basic plot line is as follows; Sly and the Gang are just getting settled into their new safe house hideout within the Paris City Limits. After dinner one night, Bentley informs Sly and Murray of his discovery of a famous treasure which is being put on display in a recently opened museum in Marseilles, France. This treasure is none other than The Four Rings of Tyranny.

These four unique rings were symbols of power and individual characteristics, and were worn by none other than the tyrannical French Wolf King Lukan the Harsh.

United, these four rings are worth an untold amount of wealth, due to both their historical and cultural background, as well of course by the gold and encrusted jewels which sustain them. These rings of course, are protected by the most modern and highest level of security.

After planning a daring operation on the museum and seizing the four infamous rings, the Cooper Gang's escape is suddenly foiled when a mysterious gang of thieves arrive and steal away the four rings from Sly's grasp.

Forced to flee from the French authorities empty handed, Sly and the Gang then regroup and set their focus on finding the mysterious bandits and reclaiming what was taken from them.

Soon, the Cooper Gang finds themselves pitted against an infamous guild of thieves like none they have faced before.

PLAYER EXPECTATIONS

EXPECTATIONS

•You are expected to be very keen and well-knowing on Sly Cooper Universe lore, history, laws, and etcetera.
I prefer a pair of partners who have played all four games from beginning to end at some point or another, or at least the first two, and at bare minimum at least the first.
Though the first option is most preferable.

•I expect you to be able to post at least 3-5 times a day. Seeing that this will be a rather casual and cartoonish Roleplay, you won't be expected to write out 5-7 paragraphs of intense grammar and detail per post, gracious no. So somewhat frequent posting, even if it is only at one time of the day, shouldn't be hard.
Granted while I do not expect 20+ posts everyday, I do expect more than two per day.

•This Roleplay will be standard casual to low casual as was stated.

•Please keep your selected character "in-character". Should you truly understand the Sly Cooper universe, then you will know how each characters' personality stands, as well as their strengths, weaknesses, fears, and so forth.
Let's not have Murray performing triple aerial jumps atop three story buildings, and let's not have Sly swimming a 5K down a river.
