It's happening again. I have been visited by a soviet mad scientist, a king, a penguin prince of darkness, a house plant god thing, a mystical ancient member, a tired reaper (thank god) + a greeting.

Northgard, King's Palace

Duke Henry sighed as he walked down the ornate hallway of the King's Palace. He was only here on business, to meet up with a few Nobles. The interactions in the lobby have not done well so far, with the Council stubbernly refusing to do anything useful. He couldn't possibly wish that fate upon any other nation.

"Have you heard?" Duke Ferral called from the end of the hall.

As they met up, Henry knew that it was either very good, or very bad news. Ferral hadn't been so excited since the infamous trial of Captain Murwris. "No, I fear I have not."

Ferral gave Henry a frown. "It's been official in the higher circles since this morning. Some scouting parties have seen a mass of Orc up in the Wastes, for a suspected attack."

Henry chuckled. "If this is true, and I assure you that I do not doubt it is, then we have naught to worry about. The exit from the wastes is a long way from here, and would run into - before we would ever have to deal with it. They can't come over the mountains; they could likely freeze the dragons of legend."

"Rest assured, my friend Duke, we don't need to worry. I am sure the king can agree."

The result: The king and his staff have ignored the threat, underestimating it as something distant that couldn't possibly happen to them.
State of Events

Little late to the bunch. Will likely be updated as the RP goes along.

In case folks need a character, there's an open-ended cunning and convincing (of whatever age) vampire that is mentioned in Schaeffer's CS that can be taken up.
Knocking off two other roleplays, then off to this one.
Thasseldar looked as Abaddon went off to another section of the city.

"Wonderful. Serpant and crew, coming right up..." by now, they were just down the block and rapidly approaching the lone figure on the road.

There is... one thing...

He attempted to telepathically communicate with Abaddon. It worked one way in that Thasseldar did not have the ability naturally, but someone such as Abaddon would pick it up. Hopefully.

I would like for you to create an invisible, linkless portal directly in front of the largest cluster of enemies you are engaged with facing in their direction. I'll do the rest.

With that in mind, Thasseldar created a portal just as he described in front of him. The difficulty could come if Abaddon didn't create a portal in his section, because what he was about to do counted on good timing and possibly luck. If it failed, well, he would have to redirect the link to some desolate part of the sea before he was crushed by the bodies that would make it through the empty space before it was active...
Heh... if I didn't strain myself with what I got then there would indeed be a good number of things that I would be GM'ing possibly right now.

Alas, my soul is sold to other roleplays.
Welcome :)
Dead ended on my end until someone either dismisses or interacts with Wright, who went in the hallway with the purpose of going further up the stairs.

Haha, don't worry, I just realized I forgot to give Zerena a last name :P Add that to the fact that I originally posted her when she was only half done, I think you are doing better than me.

I probably did have the picture before I wiped out the final draft and had to rush and see if I could recover the earlier version.

EDIT: Just remembered, it was the one I spent 20 minutes on and only found a version that half satisfied me. -_-
