Damn dwarf! An attempted spear to the eye again.
He took a slightly different approach. With the spear rapidly coming at his face, he threw his force into going to the side and slightly forward into the dwarf's direction while attempting to pull the spear with his left arm out of the dwarf's hand. He formed a spike on his right hand to impale him.

Gnomes aren't usually known for their common sense. Especially since they're probably the race blowing themselves up experimenting on blasphemous steam-based technology.
