Posted. Scorn lays down the deal with Kain and Kiera leads the way to the bar, known as The Amp. Also we learn Scorn has sharing issues but really who didn't see that coming? XD No one gets to touch her barstool.
Scorn

"Doctor Mikhail Petrov? Petrov, why is that familiar?" Scorn thought to herself, unfazed by Kain's anger, pacing for a second and then snapping her clawed fingers ", Oh now I remember, D.U.P. scientist, disappeared when Curdon Cay was liberated. Friends with a lovely woman named Zeynep Sihir, another scientist. Oh how I remember her screams." She added dreamily to herself as she reminisces in the memory of what she did to the female doctor.

"Oh how she liked to experiment on me for some reason, well in the end I turned the tables," Scorn laugh like a maniac ", The look on her face was priceless. I wish I had a camera. She was traumatized enough at the end that she quit, or she might have been shipped to a looney bin." She sighed happily to herself before she returned back to the present.
"So I take it Petrov works with the Syndicate? Guess that isn't shocking for an ex-D.U.P. scientist," she said ", so you want help finding him. All right but what do I get in return for helping. I don't do stuff for free or out of the kindness of my heart." She walked over to him, stopping mere inches in front of him.

"Here's the deal," she said her tone going from nice and sweet to serious and pointed in an instant ",You help the Reapers, you join us. I can't have a lone wolf conduit tearing up my playground, not when I have plans I need to get this place ready for. Any Syndicate members we catch you can question but after your questioning I get them to have my own personal fun with. When you get Petrov you can do whatever you want with him as long as we get some helpful information out of him about the Syndicate before you rip his heart out, cut into pieces, or whatever you are going to do to him. That's the deal, take it or leave it." She waited for an answer keeping her eyes locked with his. She couldn't afford to have any rogue conduits screwing up her plans. She had chased enough of them out of New York to get her foothold secured in the city and she made sure to keep them out. She normally didn't kill them, after all killing a conduit would just be cruel and against her morals but they were beat up enough to get the message to stay the hell out of her way. If only the same could be done with the dumb hero conduits that ran amuck in the city.

Kiera

"You always know how to keep a girl waiting," Kiera joked though saw how exhausted he was ",You should probably find something to recharge yourself when we get to the bar, I don't want to be the one dragging your ass back to wherever you leave. Come on, and try to keep up."
With those final words, Keira had thrown her glass board up and jumped onto and raced through the air, to the bar that Zeke owned. The bar was on a side of New York that a good chunk of the city's conduits lived. The bar wasn't so much all that special on the outside besides the neon lights that made it stand out with the name of the bar which was called The Amp. An odd name but for Zeke it was a personal thing from what Kiera understood, something dealing with a weapon he made for Cole after a trust falling out or something, Zeke told stories of Cole and his adventures from Empire City to New Marais but when it came down to the personal stuff he kept those under wrap which was understandable.
She wondered what Zeke had that was so important as she and Eli went on their way. It had to be something big no doubt about it, but what could that be? Something on the Syndicate? Something on the Reapers? She then wondered if Scorn would be there though more then likely she wouldn't. Before Scorn had come out with being a part of the reformed Reapers, she could be found at The Amp almost every night of the week. It was probably the only time Kiera had seen her not try to kill someone, just always enjoying a drink on her own, rarely talking to anyone. It was an odd site to see, perhaps it had all just been a ruse, a means for her to scope out potential conduits before coming out as the Reaper leader. When Scorn had shown her true self, Zeke had banned her from the bar which enraged Scorn but she didn't harm Zeke from what Kiera knew. Scorn merely took the bar stool she normally used at the bar as hers and ever since, never returned.
Yeah saw and replied.
Zeynep and Gavlan

Zeynep was surprised by the fact that this qunari knew magic. All her time after leaving the Qun she had not ran into another magic user of her kind. Yet she found this new stranger odd, if she was a magic user, why didn't she have the scars of one? Perhaps wasn't born anywhere where the Qun had control, Zeynep quickly thought to herself. She looked at Gavlan when the stranger spoke to him and he shrugged.
"I don't care if I sit or stand as long as I get my drink," he said relaxing from his combat position he had taken upon during the conversation, though even he would admit that she had a point. Even if the Qun didn't have major influence beyond the regions of where most qunari resided, it didn't mean that there weren't followers about around here.
"We shall take you on the offer then," Zeynep added following the stranger to the table, relieved that they wouldn't have to fight and somewhat excited to finally meet one of her kind that was also a magic user.
Once seated, Zeynep felt it would best for introductions ",I'm Zeynep and my companion is-"
"Gavlan," the dwarf interrupted ",Just because I'm short doesn't mean she can't hear me introduce myself."
"What was that?" Zeynep said joking
"Fine you mages talk about whatever while I reveal more personal details about you lass. Sure the stranger would love to hear the dirt on you."
"If you did I would toss you out of the bar personally," Zeynep replied.
"Ha no one tosses a dwarf," he said.
Zeynep merely shook her head before returning conversation back to the stranger."Forgive us, it's kind of normal that we do that," she said ",So what is your name, surely you don't like us calling you just stranger."
Well I'll be posting something up tonight. Stuff will get moving soon. For those who were in the last RP well what's happening at the bar is the same thing that happened in the other RP but afterwards there will be an mediate timejump to said event, or at least slightly before it.
Zeynep and Gavlan

They finally found an inn that would work. It wasn't the best choice but to them it didn't matter, especially when they had spent most days in Kirkwall staying in Lowtown and drinking in the Hanged Man Inn. They were just settling into the inn as well, both standing by the bar waiting for their drinks when Zeynep felt a hand tap her shoulder.
Great probably another drink with a fail attempt to try and get into my pants, Zeynep thought to herself annoyed. At least punching someone in the face would be somewhat pleasant to her. When she turned around though to see the person who tapped her shoulder she got the the surprised of her life. It was another qunari, her mind race trying to piece it all together. They had found her, she had been running from the Qun all these years, from those that would enslave her and let her rot under the care of another. Zeynep couldn't go back to that life. She would die before rejoining the Qun. She had nearly begun to reach for her staff when the stranger asked the question of whether or not Zeynep was a part of the Qun. Zeynep couldn't help but laugh at the question before thinking.
"Maker no I'm not a part of the Qun, not after what they did to me. Plus I'm with a dwarf," she said pointing to her companion.
"Hey I heard that," Gavlan said as he turned back to the bar, seeing now that he wouldn't have to take out his axe at the moment to aid his friend.
Zeynep regained her composer and continued ",And you? Are you part of the Qun, here to take me back and get my tongue cut out."
"Oh boy here we go," Gavlan said turning back to the conversation between the two qunari and waiting to see if this was going to be a fight or not once more. The dwarf hoped not, he rather have his mead and hit the hay for the dead rather then have to deal with a bar fight.
Zeynep and Gavlan

There they were, amongst the throngs of people that were about the royal city of Val Royeaux. The duo wasn't hard to spot amongst the crowds, one being taller then most of the people that were there, the other stout and shorter then most people were. They made quite an odd pair but here no one cared. The people only wanted refuge from the elements as well as a way to get away from the Blight that had consumed the southern realm of Ferelden. The Wardens had failed in their quest to slay the beast and news of it traveled fast. Unfortunately for Zeynep and Gavlan they only learned about it when they had reached Val Royeaux. The duo usually resided in the safe walls of Kirkwall but after a deal had gone wrong, they had made a quick get away and find another location to set up operations.
"Bah look at all these people," Zeynep said with some distaste ",They run like wolves, tail inbetween there legs. Why not stand and fight this Blight? Why not fight these things called Darkspawn." Being from Par Vollen, Zeynep had never seen a darkspawn or heard of the blights that plagued the realm of Thedas every few ages until she was able to understand the language. She still barely knew much about them.
"Honey if you knew what Darkspawn were, you would be pretty damn scared to of them. At least understand why these people are running," Gavlan spoke up to his tall qunari companion "Darkspawn are nasty vicious buggers that are usually cowards themselves but give them an Archdemon and they are a force that can't be stopped. At least not by us normal folks, only the-"
"Grey Wardens can stop it, yes you've told me before," Zeynep interrupted her short counterpart with a sigh. Most of her knowledge of the realms of Thedas came from her dwarf friend. They had met up in Kirkwall, both outcasts who became good friends after some fighting and a few mugs of awful mead. They had become some of the best smugglers in Kirkwall, with Gavlan's knowledge of trade and valuables, Gavlan's strength, and Zeyneps magic they could get their hands on just about anything that someone may want snicked into the City of Chains, for a fee of course.
"Exactly," Gavlan said, continuing his lecture without pause ",The Grey Wardens, who should be mobilizing, at least those here in Orlais. Lets not worry about that though. Lets find somewhere that sells some mead and then a place to crash, this traveling has made me bushed."
With that he managed to get a slight smile out of Zeynep and a small chuckle."Yes, if we don't get to hammered with the mead," she replied. Despite how they bickered they would always be best of friends, having each others backs until they drew their last breath.
"That's the spirit my lass," Gavlan said. They continued pushing their way through the crowd, to find the nearest inn that had a bar and hopefully a few open rooms left ",Who knows maybe I'll find some dwarves to finally talk too, after all you are quite dull."
"Oh ha ha master dwarf trader," Zeynep smirked in amusement ",Perhaps I'll find more Tal-Vashoth's to keep me company as well. It would be better to have them as company face to face then always having to find a box for you to be eye level with me."
Thus they bantered back and forth to one and the other on their quest for mead.
I would say most of the conferences this year were average across the board, all equal to each other. Best annoucement for me was Bloodborne, I love the Souls games, even Dark Souls 2 (perhaps the weakest in the three games yes but still a great game in my eyes). Now though with Bloodborne Miyazaki is back as the lead creator and can't wait to get an entire new world. Plus the whole Gothic setting is really awesome, I love those type of settings as much as medieval setting games.

Then there was LBP3, another city that I do enjoy I will admit, it's just fun to mess around in it and create stuff even if I'm terrible at making levels.

Far Cry 4 looks pretty great, interested to see how the co-op works since they mentioned that co-op would work even if the person you co-op with doesn't have the game. How that works is a mystery but that's cool.

Scalebound looks cool though I'm not a big fan of the modern aspect of it but we shall see how that ties together when they show more of the game.

Dragon Age: Inquisition keeps looking really promising, seems Bioware has learned from their mistakes with DA2. Though I don't see DA2 as all bad, it definitely was a downgrade when compared to Origins.

Super Smash Bros and a new Zelda game that is open world, hell yeah.

Then there's other games that were shown I would of liked to see more of but unfortunately nothing really was shown: Battlefront, The Crew, whatever Criterion Games is working on, The Order 1886 (I like the setting and all but they really need to get some more gameplay footage out, we barely have seen anything of that), Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Mirror's Edge 2, and Starfox for Wii U to name a few I would of liked to see more of.

Nobody's talking about Bloodborne. We should all be talking about Bloodborne.

Had to quote this because heck why not. We need more Bloodborne. XD

Technically my character is centuries old, so she is really out of it in this society. She luckily was from the colony and speaks the common language...and hates the Qun.

Zeynep is going to be interested in your character to say the least. Another Tal-Vashoth mage, at least in appearance to be Tal-Vashoth. Her love the Qun ended when she became Saarebas.

Also going back to the topic of favorite characters, going to have to say of all the companion characters we know about so far for Dragon Age Inquisition, Blackwall so far probably is my favorite. It will be interesting to hear the story of Blackwall since he is a Grey Warden.

Like I said atrociously ridiculous.I didn't bother to read yours or anyone's characters sheets. So you need a reason to prove I won't abuse a character that is not atrociously ridiculous when it comes to power and age, my one, only, and absolutely last response in this thread or any related to this rp is learn to read subtlety.

Yes because we care so much that this was your last post.
Ta-ta don't let the door hit yourself on the way out of the thread.

In other words we have to play twenty something noobs because if your character is in his fifties and at that level then it will just be atrociously ridiculous.Limiting what our characters can be to avoid being atrociously ridiculous, such a wonderful idea.

For the record though there have been older characters in the Dragon Age series, Wynne for example, who starts out at the same level as every other companion character so I fail to see where this rule is bad even. Hell you think my dwarf character is twenty something? Flattering as that sounds he probably is more into his forties.
