Rasie listened intently and chuckled softly when Zeynep smacked him. "Dwarves may be able to hold a lot of alcohol, but they still succumb to it eventually. At any rate, what do you two think about the person that came in and screamed about some type of trouble? Do we need to stick our noses in it or should we lay low for a bit?" She grasped her crossbow, just in case the others wished to do something, but she was not sure what was going on or why. To her, any trouble here was normal considering how dense the population was currently. She assumed everyone needed something done and someone had stepped on another person's toes along the way.

Zeynep and Gavlan

"You two are hardly going to be able to stay low. I mean how many qunari are there in Orlais?" Gavlan replied and dodged another attack by Zeynep ",I'm just being honest. Anyway, I guess we could but our noses in, isn't like we are going to do much else here, plus maybe we can get some pay out of it."
"The dwarf has a point but I'm not standing next to him if there is combat, he might not be drunk entirely but mixing that much alchol with an axe. I would like to keep my head," Zeynep answered standing up and deciding on leading the way out behind the person who had just broke a man's nose.
Gavlan followed as well those his walk wasn't entirely straight though despite perhaps bumping into a few people's legs, no one would both him as he brandished his axe on the way out.
Mr Wiki, I think you might have gotten some info confused. There are no syndicates at the bar and neither humans beside Zeke. Zeke merely has intel that he is going to share with the conduits in the bar since no conduit approves of what the Syndicate does.

Also I've reconsidered the matter of making more characters. If you want to make another character knock yourself out.

The Kossith woman focused upon the now drunk dwarf. "Do you know why people hate magic so much anymore? You seemed academically versed, so I figured you would know if anyone." She scooted her chair closer as she returned to her normal sitting position and took another healthy drink from her flask. She kept an eye on some of the drunker patrons as they were beginning to move about as someone shouted about danger. She was not too fond of involving herself or her magic, but if her current companions felt the need, she would follow along and end the conflict.

Gavlan

Gavlan took time to put the question together just in case he might of gotten the information wrong at first he didn't blurt out something entirely different."Let me think for a second, could of waited until tomorrow for this question though?" Gavlan said in a grumble thinking on what he might know on the matter. Having to sell items, be them legal or not, let him get his hands on a lot of information that he might of skimmed over. After all he might as well know what he is selling before actually selling it, especially with certain items. He might of been a smuggler but even he had his limits on what he would smuggle into a city.
"I remember reading something on the Neverran Accord. Basically the start of the Templars and the Seeker's of Truth," he said as he racked his brain on any info he might of had on the subject ",From my recollection there is really no main reason on why the Chantry has a strong distaste for magic. Perhaps it has to do with the whole story of the magisters who supposedly entered the Golden City in the Fade, the place where the Maker lived and tainted it. Thus they became the first Darkspawn as the Chantry tells it. Also could of been because of the Tevinter Imperium as a whole. They embraced magic quite a lot, still do even if I remember right but that place is to human infested and not for your type of mages. They like to keep qunari or kossith as slaves and have a long war going on with them. Doesn't matter if you are with the Qun or not, they won't care. I don't know where it stems from honestly but my guess it has something to do with the magisters and the Tevinter Imperium. In any case the reasons why it started doesn't matter. The Chantry came to light after your suspended animation began so it happen shortly after the first Blight was stopped. Other then that I can't give you much else. The Chantry has no place to us dwarves, we prefer our own religion."
"How come this is the first time I've learn about such news you know so much on magic?" Zeynep asked, impressed by what the dwarf actually knew.
"Simple you never asked," Gavlan said which made Zeynep lightly slap the back of his head ",Please don't do that again, the room barely stays still as is. I shouldn't of taken that bet."
Hold onto those characters for the moment. I'll be sending some PMs out today. Would of done it yesterday but got a bit busy.

Also Argetlam, the bar you mentioned in your Scorn post to Kain, is that the same bar that Maxi and King are at?

Yes it is the same bar that Maxi and King are at. I'm assuming they are at Zeke's bar after all.
Zeynep

"Perhaps he might, it's hard to say really," Zeynep relplied ",Though are dwarf friend has seemed to of wandered off so you'll have to ask him when he returns." She had never thought to ask the old dwarf on the matter of magic, perhaps it was due to the fact the dwarf never seemed to show any interest in the subject. He didn't mind magic but his interest in it was minute when compared to Zeynep or others who had magic. It could of be just that fact that dwarves were never considered able to have magic, being that no dwarf had ever been found with magical capabilities.
Gavlan

Gavlan was still with a few other dwarves, no defending his title as the dwarf able to handle the most mead without passing out. The dwarf he was against had just taken his next mug of mead and was trying to hold it down but ultimately gave up and shoved the drink away while Gavlan chugged his next drink down as well as the next. He showed them that he could handle his drinks, though by now even he would have to admit the room seem to be slightly moving so he figured he had had enough mead for the day. He would have to return to his table to grab his axe sooner or later. The only disappointment for him was that he had partially left the table to find a job for him and Zeynep. If they were sticking to Orlais for awhile, they would have to find some jobs to keep the money flowing for them.
He managed to find the table after pushing through the crowds of people.
"Speaking of our dwarf friend," Zeynep said ",Here he is now."
"Yeah what of it?" Gavlan replied sitting in his chair to try and keep the room from moving.
Scorn

"My born name belongs to a girl that died years and years ago," Scorn said ",Scorn is who I am now, that's my only name." Scorn spoke sincere on the matter. She only used her born name for when she removed the pain and outfit of the Reapers off her and blended into the norm population which was rare. To her that was the disguise and being the Reaper leader was the reality. Chloe had died when she had killed her parents and Scorn had been born.
"Where do we start? Well a little bird has told me a certain bar owner has intel on the Syndicate," Scorn added with a slight laugh ",I have a man on the inside who will call me once he gets the intel. I would go myself but I've been permanently kicked from the bar after my big reveal. If all things go as expected then you'll have your first interview with a Syndicate member very soon."
Without hesitation her face moved closer and gave a slight kiss on his chin with a mischievous grin."Though if you mean you want some fun now you might need my real name," she said ",I have a place where we could continue this discussion in a more secure place if you are interested in the type of fun I have in mind." This was going to be an interesting relationship indeed, perhaps sharing wouldn't be that bad, at least for the moment if it came with some benefits.
Kiera

Kiera kept pace and shortly stopped behind Eli when the had seemed to of reached the mention power source that he had that would recharge him. She waited patiently as he charged himself up, as she did she looked at her own fingers to check her own amount of power. Eye fingers dully glowed lightly, no need to worry about powering up any time soon but better to check now then later.
"So you done or are you going to try and kill me some more?" Kiera asked in a joking manner when he seemed to be done charging. Yet she didn't want to keep Zeke waiting either since it sounded important, whatever he had that he wanted to share. Again it caused her mind to wander. She had debated quite often who to share the information with that she was Scorns half sister. She didn't mostly out of fear that if people knew that they would treat her differently, fear her or worse. She hardly feared anything but that was one thing she did fear.

Well Scorn will have to learn to play nice with others. :P

She's all ready having a tough time with sharing with Kain, let alone having to share with another. XD
All right I'll accept that then. But be warned Scorn isn't a happy camper when it comes to rogue conduits messing around in her playground. XD
Zeynep

"Well I doubt the day mages can live peacefully will come anytime soon," Zeynep replied ",I don't know what blood magic was back centuries before but now it is merely for the weak. Making deals with demons is disgusting." She grimaced at the thought of bargaining with one of those abominations. They were creatures that fed off of emotions, twisted the person to do their bidding, while that person hoped to get something in return. Usually the demon merely used them and that person would go insane eventually or become something like the demon, merely a pawn. Blood magic may of had some uses but until mages learned how to use it without aid from demon's, that would be one form of magic she would stay away from.
"One day mages will fight back, it merely is a matter of time," Zeynep added changing subjects ",It probably won't happen though until this Blight thing is quelled by those who are meant to stop it. Those Grey Wardens as they are called." Zeynep still had plenty she did not know much about, such as why only the Wardens could stop the Blight but even Gavlan had no idea why only they could do it, the Grey Wardens kept that part secret it seemed. In Par Vollen there was never any history of the Blights, probably because they never seemed to effect the Qunari. Only other tid bit that Gavlan had given her on the Blight was that this was the fifth Blight and from understanding on what archdemons were, there were still two more Blights that could come to be, that is if this Blight was stopped before destroying the world of Thedas. It all involved something called the Old Gods or whatever, Zeynep didn't really pay attention to the details of the history of the Blights that much but going by names of the Old Ones of the past Blights that come to past there had first been Dumat, then Zazikel, followed by Toth, the fourth was Andoral, and now the Old God Urthemiel led this Blight as the archdemon. Five Old Ones had risen, and two remained hidden underground. The threat of the Blights truely would not be quelled until those final two rose but that wouldn't happen if the Grey Wardens didn't stop this one.
Zeynep

"Any form of magic bothers the Templars and Chantry," Zeynep mumbled ",I find the Circle of Magi are better then what the Qun does to mages but it still just a means of control, to enslave them and keep them wrapped around their finger. Eventually it will just lead to rebellion or worse, more weak mages making deals with demons." She stopped when her drink finally came to the table and quickly chugged it down in one go. Having to drink with a dwarf all these years, it became somewhat of a little game of her and Gavlan's to see who could drink the fastest. Unfortunately for Zeynep she all ways was on the loosing end but she would beat him one day.
"Shapeshifting magic, sounds interesting. My main gift in magic is force magic," Zeynep then added once she put the mug back on the table. All mages specializations manipulate energy but force mages revel in it. Zeynep was still somewhat new in it but she did enjoy the little force magic she knew and wanted to specialize in it.
Gavlan

While Zeynep and Rasie were conversing, Gavlan had gone to wander around the bar with his drink, finding a few fellow dwarves he could speak with and get at least some news from Orzammar. Seemed that the last free thaig was having difficulty of its own in this time. The doors to the upper world had been sealed to prevent the darkspawn from entering that way from what he understood so the fight for Orzammar would be through the Deep Roads. He also heard tale of a grey warden coming to Orzammar to gain recruits and apparently had found the ancient legend of the Anvil of the Void though it had been destroyed. A shame Gavlan thought, he would of loved to see the days when Orzammar had the golems again but there was probably a reason why it had been destroyed. At least he could add the tale to his others and perhaps spruce it up a bit for the fun of things. Then there was news about how a new king had been chosen but Gavlan didn't catch who it had been.
