Marvel/DC: The Coming Storm

Liz was broken out of her state of observation of the city and controlling the voices in her head by an outburst that came from some near by rooftop. All she saw was a flash of red, unable to really tell who they were.
"Well perhaps he knows where we could find some fun and quench that chaos we desire," she said to herself, deciding to follow behind the man clad in red. Where ever he was going he seemed particularly pleased about it and enjoyed talking to himself quite a bit. She could hardly judge him on talking to himself due to how she herself did the same but she had a reason at least so far the person she followed talked to himself for the sake of talking to himself. She stuck to the shadows as she followed from a distance. Eventually the person in red seemed to find his destination for he stopped, eyes gazing at some warehouse.

"Why is it always warehouses or abandoned buildings, do villains even try to be original this day and age?" She muttered to herself in silence deciding for the time she would watch and observe and unless the person in red needed help she would stay where she was and only watch.

Now to address everyone I'll have the OOC up tomorrow morning (Probably around 8 or 9 AM mountain standard time). Now when does that mean the IC starts? I'll give a day for people to post up there characters and so forth so the IC, if goes to plan, will start probably Friday.

His drain would be from almost any light source outside of the sun. The more concentrated the light the faster he would recharge. Think of the sun as the most diffused source of light, meaning he could try and collect it for hours and he might get enough to make an end game tooltip show up to explain he needed to drain it...He would drain things like flash bangs and spotlights, a florescent light heck even his excess light can be partially reabsorbed. Is this acceptable?

I like it only question would be about the DUP. He didn't have to go to Curdon Cay but I assume once his powers developed him and his friend kind of stayed low to not attract the attention of the DUP.

Yes all conduits can do the standard basic attacks that you named, the abilities are more for your more unique moves and power abilities that you have.

What do you feel about light manipulation, the character is blind but is able mentally ascertain areas exposed to the light the character generates.(Think of sonar but with light) This makes the power one of necessity and would naturally understandable for the character to be comfortable using it. I can flesh out more on the ability but I wanted to make sure you had a liking of the idea before I got too deep in character concept. In addition I had a character who uses a flash freezing ability, it would focus on zoning and projectiles. Once again ill work more on the concept if you are okay with the power type.

Light manipulation sounds all right, only question I probably have what exactly would he drain to kind of recharge, sunlight or any form of light that comes from bulbs and so forth. Other then that I have no problem with the idea.

They don't have to be from Curdon Cay, just a suggestion since that's where a good chunk would be from since the DUP were rounding them up but you can have one who managed to stay under the DUP radar.

But cannot recharging using things like people who still make noise, if it was possible it would probably kill the person, and I'm planning on making hero.As for powers I absolutely won't make it OP. I don't have much in mind yet but a basic sound wave attack that can mess with radios, amps, speakers. It would only be useful for petty pranks and jamming communications. One that can amplify their voice like a built in microphone. And a loud, screechy wave that could potentially bust some ear drums. They'd take more of a support stance during battles.

Hmmm all right then I'll allow it then, interesting idea of recharging I'll admit.

I plan to have an OOC up by the end of this week, I'm going to give the interest check a few more days but OOC probably will be up by Thursday or Friday with the official RP starting once those interested have posted there characters in said OOC.
