The Character

What is bravery, without a dash of recklessness?

Name: Aura
Age: 24 (looking at one of the older student positions)
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Appearance: (At least a paragraph, photo or not. A picture is nice, but you're going to need a bit more to make them come alive)

She stands at 5' 7'' and weighs around 180 pounds. Her attire is what you see in the picture above. A scar runs across the center of her noise just under her eyes, though it is hard to see unless looking for it. Her eyes are the color of the ocean with a slight spark of mischief to them but don't make her made or those sparks with start a fire in her eyes and you best stay clear of her then. To top it all off her blonde hair goes down slightly behind her back to which she keeps in a pony tail as in the picture as well.

Personality: Aura has a positive attitude on almost everything and has a rather energetic personality that isn't easily subdued. Perhaps due to her energy she has such a low attention span as well, but when given a task of great importance she is able to focus on it and complete it, usually if she manages to keep her patience. She is a rather sociable person as well, unafraid to start a conversation with people she just meets, meaning making friends for her comes naturally. Her devotion to family and friends is strong and if it came down to it, she would risk her life to save theirs. She finds that actions speaks louder then words, which gets him into trouble from time to time as well as means he would rather shoot first and ask questions later when it comes to fights.

Capabilities: She specializes in defensive combat, keeping her guard up and striking when the enemy leaves an opening. Since she has a defensive combat, dodging is another specialty she has learned well to get out of the way of attacks that she knows she can block or fast opponents that break her guard to easily. She knows some magic at least to do moderate damage with fire and electric spells while the other spells are weaker.

Weaknesses: Fast barrage attacks can break her guard depending on how fast and how many attacks are in the barrage. A faster opponent can be trouble for her normal combat, meaning she has to dodge, while she has trained herself to be good at dodging this does leave her open, if not for normal attacks then magical ones to which her defense is useless against most of the time. Magic also can break her guard rather easily. She might be able to block one magic attack but no more.

History: Born in the Plain of Sanctuary, Aura was raised on the tales of the fall and the destruction that caused havoc on all the plains. Great cities lost to darkness to be forgotten and reduced to mere embers. These tales led her to desire to be like her father, a warrior, a fight, and a protector. Someone who could push against the dark creatures that still lurked around. In the tales her family was always a family of fighters, whether it was true would come down to trying to find records but that didn't matter to Aura. True or not she knew what she wanted which was to become a great warrior, even perhaps gain a title like knight. It would not be an easy task but she went head first into the challenge with no looking back.

She began her training at the age of twelve, and in five years time became a decent fighter but knew she had much to learn. It would be one day out on patrol in the local woods that she would find her true destiny. Being surrounded by dark creatures and her weapon lost all ready from combat with so many foes she raised her hand in front of her ready for an on coming strike that would never come. In a bright flash a new weapon forged into her hand, a weapon that resembled a marvelous key. Its blade glowed a hot orange like when metal came out of a furnace from the local forge. News traveled swiftly and the elder of the town told her where she had to go to learn how to use the weapon she now held. A keyblade. She set out for the fabled academy without looking back and after a few weeks of travel found her destination and became a new student of the academy. She had determination but her overzealous nature got her into some trouble with a few of the teachers as well as a new wall needing to be replaced in one of the rooms (Don't ask XD). Now it has been five years since she entered the academy and she yearns for adventure or at least be able to fight the creatures called the heartless rather then be trapped any longer in the academy walls.

The Blade

A blade that has the form of an old sword, the end coming out like a battleaxe, despite it's ancient appearance, the blade is deceptively strong, able to withstand some of the strongest of blows an opponent attacks with and deals out a moderate attack power that used correctly, can be devastating for opponents who don't have some good guarding capabilities. It's the same length as the sword shown in Aura's appearance image.

Strength: A blade that has excellent guard with a moderate attack power.
Weakness: It's great guard and moderate attack power is gained at the sacrifice of a slow swing.

Tholo nearly choked on his coffee when Danilo said he had ran into his soulmate yesterday, well actually at least got close to them it sounded like, but missed actually meeting them. It was just an odd coincidence that his friend, one of his few friends, was fated to meet the person branded to their arm the same day he had ran into his third match. Yesterday did indeed seem to of been an eventful day for many. He quickly gained control of his fit of hacking from drinking the hot beverage down the wrong pipe and took a quick pause at Danilo's remark on breakfast."Honestly I'll take anything," he said going for some of the chicken and fish. He didn't want to break the dragon's heart on the matter of soulmates. It was his first after all plus it wasn't likely he would have the same issues Tholo had gone through. Plus the issue of Danilo's family seemed to ride heavily on the dragon's shoulders at times.

"Yeah sure, I'm always down for a few beers. Besides, maybe you missed your match yesterday, it's no biggie. You'll run into them again more then likely," Tholo said trying to cheer the dragon up at least a little. Then Danilo had to ask the one question he would of rather not heard that day. How his day had been yesterday. Just bloody perfect. While Danilo was seeking his match, Tholo was trying his best to avoid the topic as best as possible. He gave an audible sigh figuring it was better to tell the truth then make some lie up, he was never good at lying anyways.

"Buddy, not even close," he said ",Lets just say I had a run in with someone I would rather keep out of my head. Suffice to say speaking about her doesn't help with the task. I think we should keep focus on the here and now and helping you out. We hit a few bars, and see if we can't find your match along the way." He continued trying to change topics from the bloodsucker Trixy.

Name: Plain of Bravery (at least where Aura comes from, unsure if this means it will represent everything within the Plain of Bravery)

Fiction: A bit of mixture between Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, Demon's Souls/Dark Souls. I guess it would be the world something similar in style to Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy blend together (maybe even Legend of Dragoon slightly in the mixure) with a dabble of the Souls series with the whole dark beasties that lurk around that are not heartless and the whole ruins of the old cities that were destroyed those centuries ago from the fall. You know Majestic yet that dark eerie feel to them if one was to go into the ruins of old knowing that something lurks within them, be them just wild creatures or the heartless themselves. I kind of view it as that there are some cities and one major city left in the realm with small villages scattered around in open clearings while places in forested areas are avoided as best as possible which lead to the old ruins of the ancient cities that did not survive the fall and are mostly unexplored. As for creatures well range from regular cats and dogs to dragons of unspeakable power and intimidation. Some might help, others will kill on sight. A place where being a knight is a high honor as being a protector and guardian of the places where people live and go into the woods from time to time.

Reason for inclusion: Aura's Homeworld.

Well that was faster then I thought. Really kind of a high fantasy type of area to best describe it without all the evil politics like Game of Thrones (XD) and horrible diseases and illiteracy of the actual medieval era.

All right redid the history. As for the Plain of Bravery I'll be using the world template to flesh it out. Might not see something until late tonight or tomorrow since I'm going to be mixing and matching stuff.

Accepted, though you seem to be missing the strengths and weaknesses for Destiny's Song. I suppose you don't want any of either that's fine, it just confused me that they weren't present. Go ahead and add it to the characters section if that's the case!

So, about Aura. She's a great basis for a character, but I think you may have misunderstood the history of Sanctuary a bit. The fall of the six other Planes of Light happened over 100 years ago, and thus she could not be around for when it happened. You could still keep this history in essence, perhaps she could be driven by the stories passed down through their family of the fall of their home.

Which brings me to my second point; Besides Sanctuary, which is meant to be an original world akin to Traverse town or Twilight town, all the other planes are meant to be based on some existing fictional universe. If you want Aura's family to come from Bravery, I'd like you to try to come up with some ideas for what Bravery will be based on. She has a medieval theme, so perhaps something like fire emblem, or final fantasy? Or perhaps something more traditionally middle ages, like Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings.

You don't have to come up with a plane, but I would like some help ^^;

I didn't want to rail-road the universes people could draw from, but the lore I wrote up dictates that about 6/7ths of the population came from those other planes.

I mean hey I can do more with Bravery I just wasn't sure how much I had to work with so I kept it vague just as a precaution. If you want more I can give more if need be. As for Destiny's Song I must of missed that part so I'll go back and look again. I'll rework it.
