Current I have finished THREE projects in the last two weeks. Where did all this motivation come from? The light bill.

Really tired of having to work through migraines. I want to tell my body, "I have shit to do, let the damn meds work!"

I feel so accomplished! Just set the bar for largest custom crochet project I've taken since I began crocheting for profit 3 years ago. They didn't even bat an eye at my quote!!

Listening to 90's/00's alternative rock. The nostalgia is heavy today.

Bio

I'm an almost-30-year old yarn artist. Mother of two sweet daughters. Wife of an amazing Hubs who basically lets me do whatever I want.

I crochet little things like the owl in my thumbnail, and big things too like four foot long bears with heart shaped feet. ^-^

I do commissions for crochet, just send me a pic or an idea and I will make it work.

'This place reeks of wounded and death...' Derra thought to herself as she entered the chapel. Her Elders had sent her to this city to learn new ways of healing, and it seemed she had arrived at just the right time.

"You there! Who are you? Why are you here? You're uninjured?" A tall man in healers robes was approaching her hurriedly, as if he had someplace else to be.

"I am Derra Varas, of the mountain clan on the border. I was sent by my Elders to learn from your healers. Surely you got the message they sent?" she raised an eyebrow at him and shook her red hair from her face. "Regardless I am here to help, and I am experienced enough. Point me in the right direction."

The man looked at her face, and to his credit he didn't blanch at the scars. "Follow me." He lead her briskly in the direction of a young man that had just been set down on a bit of hay made up to look like a bed. He was badly injured to his head, but someone had cleaned his wound in the field and packed it with a poultice that looked similar but subtly different from what Derra knew how to do. The Healer looked at the wound carefully, then at the woman who had presumably brought him in.

"Derra is a field trained healer, she will attend to the young man. If there are other's in your party with injuries, please let her know." He looked down again at the injury, and back at Derra, "We have most of the other injured attended to. Your job for now will be to assess any others who come through that door and send them back to me if they are in worse condition than you can handle alone." With that he stood and walked briskly in the direction they had come from.

Looking at the woman, Derra noticed she seemed shaken but unharmed. Her hands had been cleaned, but still showed signs of the poultice and blood. Kneeling carefully next to the bed she looked over the man, looking for signs of infection or stress. He seemed to be doing well for having such a nasty head injury. They would have to wake him soon, in case of concussion. Looking up from him and around the chapel she couldn't help but wonder what had happened and why.

'Cities and their squabbles...' she thought to herself, letting out a sigh.
Ok I got a character up, not sure yet how to fit her in but I'll try to do something after baby goes down.
Name: Derra
Age: 67
Race: Dwarf
Status: Derra is a young (for a dwarf) feild healer, meaning she can patch wounds, give stitches etc.
Br. Bio: When Derra was a child her home clan was decimated by a pox, leaving only a few survivors and marking her face with undeniable scars. They made their way to a border clan in the mountains. It was there that Derra found her calling as an herbal and feild healer. Her clan sent her out to learn human ways of healing, and she only just arrived before the battle broke out.
Equipment: Derra isn't a fighter, but she is equipped with a short sword and sheild and carries leather armor marked with a healer's staff in her pack. She wears a dark blue cloak and black clothing underneath, and her belt holds various pouches with herbs, dressings and equipment for patching people up.
I'm here, just waiting on final decisions to be made. I'm really not picky at all, just wanna get started. :-)
@Strange RodentThanks! I'll get a CS ready here in a few, gotta finish up a paper for school.
How many active characters are there? Would anyone be able to DM me a quick overview of what is going on? I'm currently waiting on another RP to start and I'm itching to get my fingers working this dang keyboard.

I actually looked at this a few days ago and saw that the GM was gone so I passed it by.
@Jangel13 You forgot ShadowDragon. So 4 of us. But yeah, at this point I'm open to whatever. I know the most about Christianity-based religions, but I'm open to learning some new stuff in order to play this out. I'm not sure which way you're wanting to go with this, but if we're going in the "general good" direction, something that values individual choice and success over hive mind would be good. If we're thinking of going in the not so good direction then the opposite.
@Jangel13 Good to know. Sorry
Alright she's posted! It's been a hectic day here...almost day and a half actually, lol. Trying to sell my car, had to level up my DnD character, and had to get started on my schoolwork for the week. But anyways, she's there, and if we decide different things I can change her.
