Hopefully we'll get more soon. Sadly, I don't know anyone to bring to this role-play. :)
@Ithradine

Elodie inwardly grimaced, " I do not envy you." She offered the man a small smile before continuing, "Hopefully you won't be too busy to enjoy yourself." Elodie's icy blue orbs studied Illuminos for a moment. "--And perhaps.. if you aren't too busy with your doting subjects', we can catch up later." She added in nonchalantly, it would be nice to catch up with him after all. Of course they had never been what she'd call 'close'. In fact, Elodie had been discouraged, by relatives', from befriending him due to her low ranking and her 'reputation'. Elodie never understood why most high ranking nobles seemed to distain her so much. She looked over to see Feron had wandered away. Hopefully he wouldn't get into too much trouble. Elodie let out sigh before turning back to Prince Illuminos.

Her thoughts wandered around to her duties ahead with her being one of the chosen. Those chosen would make the journey to a city, a name of which they knew nothing of. Elodie knew all about the horrors of the Lich King, her parents had told them to her in the way of a lesson. Don't go out at night alone, or never venture far from home. Joining the battle against the Lich King would be dangerous, but she would be protecting her family.

Religion being the one thing that held the kingdoms together had always intrigued her to learn more about their cultures. While most citizens' are to some degree devout, she didn't praise any of the deities. She was without religion, but that didn't make her a bad person... right? Her parents were more or less 'religious', they even participated in the Holidays' surrounding their religion. While Elodie knew that something must have made their world; whether naturally or by one god, didn't matter. At Voy, while many prayed to their gods, she would spend casting spells. Elodie snapped out of her thoughts before focusing back on Illuminos.
@Ithradine

Elodie offered a small smile, "Thanks," She paused glancing at Illuminos," So what duties must you attend to at this shindig? " Her icy blue orbs sparkled playfully. She had previously been standing beside Feron, the half- breed Anserian, listening to Prince Illuminos's speech. She had appreciated the words, and they seemed genuine enough. Aion's city square was decorated beautifully, but it was a bit gaudy for Elodie's taste. However, the gardens were beautifully put together. She even recognized her favorite flowers. She continued looking around, her eyes focusing in on her fellow festival goers. Today they were actually acting somewhat normal, smiles on most of the people. She noticed a few dirty looks, it was clear they were unhappy with her being chosen. She understood why they would be; by no means was Elodie considered the cream of the crop in Anserith society. Not to mention the fact that her family was one of the poorer ones. Due to the fact that she had spent her youth at the magic school in Voy, she had not spent it being shaped by uptight elders.

Since she came back she'd received an overwhelmingly negative response from some of the most formidable houses in all of Anserith. While she didn't particularly care what they thought, her mother sure did. Today was another chance to prove that her child wasn't a complete failure. Since Elodie had been chosen as one of the 'Ascended', her mother thought it necessary to dress for the festival. The whole nine yards; now here, Elodie was glad for her mother decision. The process of getting ready took more than two hours-- from picking out the right perfume to selecting the best hair arrangement. Even her dress was her mother's call. This was the most done up she had been in years, not including the disaster of her mother's soirée summers ago. Until she came down it was going well for a Prosperi party, the thing that ruined it was her. She had been about three years old and had been complaining of a hurting stomach. Her mother had believed that it was farce until Elodie projectile vomited on a influential party goer.

Despite the Anserian disapproval, Elodie knew that she was an excellent mage and more importantly a great person. She believed in herself and didn't give a damn about what others thought about her. Elodie had spent years honing her skill at the academy, now she was incredibly adept at her skill. Her experience had Voy had been the best. Elodie looked back at Illuminos awaiting his reply. She barely knew the man, but had talked to him before she had been sent off. The only real memories she had of him was when she had been young. From what she remembered he had been kind. She didn't have any friends, but Feron and her got along fairly well despite his lack of wings. He, too, had been a controversial chose, however, Elodie enjoyed the company of someone who was equally hated in the Anserith social scene.
@POOHEAD189 If you could, do you think you could glance over my sheet and tell me what you think? Sorry, I am pretty anxious about these sort of things! :)
@POOHEAD189 Sounds neat! I'll look forward to reading your character sheet. I was sooo tempted to do a female elf, but decided on doing something that I don't normally rp.
@POOHEAD189 They all sounded interesting, what sort of character are you cooking up? Or is it a hush hush situation?

If anything needs to be adjusted feel free to let me know! :)
Name: Cassiopeia Larken
Species: Cat/ Nyanni
Tribe/Clan/Pack/etc.: Larken (totem: lark)
Description:
Personality: Cassiopeia is very intelligent; however, she can be somewhat blasé. Her moral alignment would be described as true neutral. She is trust worthy, and will never tell someone’s secret. Or perhaps, she uses them for her own gain… Cassiopeia is bold, and doesn’t enjoy thinking of ‘what if?’
Background: Cassiopeia was taken prisoner on the ship after a scuffle with one of the ship workers after it unknowingly docked close to a hunting party. The cats fired at the crewmembers but she was caught by one of them. By the time the others went to get help, she was already locked up (still threatening them) with nothing they could do. Before that, she had lived happily with her tribe, and was establishing herself as a huntress.
Talent: People skills, is something that not everyone is quite adept at. Cassiopeia is excellent at, in fact, her tribe mates used to joke she could charm the pants off of the wolves’ leader.
Weakness: Using technology; since she used to live with her tribe without any, it gives her quite the headache. She’d be just fine without ever having to use it.
Knack: Decision making; Cassiopeia used to aid in hunts and would often be given the task of choosing which prey to go after. She makes up her mind quickly and does so without remorse.
Flaw: Cassiopeia’s back right leg, is still not as strong as the others from a bad break as a kitten. It can sometimes cause uncomfortable pressure but other than that it does not affect her too badly.

Cassiopeia hissed at the guard as he walked by. He smirked at the captive lynx, his harsh grey eyes glinting in amusement. The lupin walked up to the bars and asked mockingly, “What are you going to do?” Cassiopeia launches forward trying to scratch him, instead of clothing her face hit a metal bar. He howled in laughter, his tan scarred muzzle twitching as he did so. Cassiopeia sighed in defeat and walked over to a shadowy part of the cell. It was useless, she would never get out of here. “Oh, you have given me such a wound!” He continued in a mock pained voice. After laughing at her again he left her. Cassiopeia’s amber orbs studied her small cell; grey wall, gray floor, grey everything! She missed the lush forests she had grown up in. I want to go home. Her claws absent-mindedly dug into the prisoner’s outfit that they’d given her to wear, she had swiftly refused, instead taking the time to curse at them.

The door opened and her audits swiveled towards them. She ignored it until she smelled food. Her stomach made noises signifying her hunger. Cassiopeia noted the footsteps she heard, “Here’s dinner, I made sure to get it fresh.” Looking up, she recognized this lupin. The wolf slid the tray through the bars and stepping away from the bars.

“Thank you.” Cassiopeia called after the fellow female before swiftly digging in. Despite being miserable in this cell, she could appreciate the taste of this food.

“Where is my food?” The male guard joked.

“In the cafeteria, I am not your slave.” The female rolled her eyes before casting one final glance at Cassiopeia, and leaving the cell room.

Cassiopeia scarfed the meal down, licking her lips in content. She then went to the task of grooming herself, she wasn’t without manners after all. Her tongue’s many pallipae going through her spotted pelt. When she was certain that the task was complete, she laid down. Her mouth opened in a yawn, her tongue stretching out. Her thoughts went back to her tribe mates that would often sun beside her after eating. The cell was cold, would have bothered a hairless animal but all it did was remind Cassiopeia of her warm home. She sighed before closing her eyes, ready for the sleepiness to take over.

@Ithradine I don't know if I was supposed to add my character sheet to the characters list yet, I apologize. I can put her here for you to look it over.
Alright, will do! :)
