Angel hasn't told anyone his name, except for War-Pulse, who he gave his alias to.
@EnterTheHero@MarikI think it'd be interesting if Angel and Gabriel met, and Krimson was thrown into the mix. I dunno, just throwing that out there.
@Marik I'd do a timeskip, and wait for the rest of us to catch up with ya, I guess. How long of a timeskip are we talking, here?

Boom. I'd think that a news helicopter would bring some attention to the fight, especially in the way Equilibrium is going to use it.

"Have you ever heard the term: Deus Ex Machina? I haven't been called that yet, but I know someone who has." Equilibrium waited patiently for War-Pulse to move; after all, he had the advantage here, right? "And a force of nature, huh? Makes sense, especially with those powers of yours. The forces of physics are the most primal of all." Then, War-Pulse started to move his arm, mimicking Equilibrium's earlier finger gun, shooting out a kinetic bolt towards the Hellbeast Laser. The laser fired, to be deflected and only cut into the ground, melting the concrete and asphalt into slag, and leaving the mercenary unharmed.

Folding his laser back into the armor plate, Equilibrium followed War-Pulse's form with his sensors, as he eventually stopped behind an eighteen-wheeler, presumably to form an attack strategy. Equilibrium approached warily, and aimed his Shiva machinegun. While it was proven to be ineffective, the explosive rounds could also explode the semi truck, if need be. What happened next was completely unexpected, proving that War-Pulse was deserving of the title of a 'force of nature'.

As soon as the eighteen wheeler began to fly at him, time seemed to slow down for Equilibrium. He began to process things mechanically, and seek the most viable solution.

>Situation: 18 wheeler Semi, flung by War-Pulse. Well within the lifting power of the ATD.
>Conjecture: Either catch the vehicle, or cut in half, with the DMS.
>Juxtaposition: War-Pulse is extremely erratic, so caution is advised.

Time sped up, and Equilibrium quickly popped out the DMS melee weapon from his arm compartment, and within a half a second, was at full rotation. Bracing himself, Equilibrium ducked, and held up the giant tungsten-steel chainsaw, shearing the tractor and the container both in half. The fuel tank exploded, rolling flames blasting around the mech, and eventually raising to the sky. The mech stood up, looking for War-Pulse, only to see him about to punch him in the faceplate. Equilibrium assumed that he had used the semi as a launchpad, and gravity for more momentum.

There wasn't enough time to fully dodge the attack, so Equilibrium did the next best thing. Aiming the 'Pegasus' jets, so that they would launch him up towards War-Pulse, Equilibrium took the punch square in the chest. The Merlin shield buckled for a brief second before giving out completely, energy depleted. Knocked down to the ground, Equilibrium landed on his back, hard. Cracks forming in the pavement around him, Equilibrium knew that he had to act fast, or he would get pinned down. Bursting the jump jets, he slid along the concrete, digging a trench in the concrete. As soon as he had reached a suitable distance, he would perform a feat of surprising acrobatics, a backflip, landing in a combat ready position. He needed some way to end this fight quickly, and nothing that he had on the ATD would be powerful enough.

Searching outwards with his ECM suite, Equilibrium took control of the first vehicle he could find, a news helicopter, reporting the fight. Not even thinking about the civilians within, he drove it down, directing it to fly into War-Pulse at all possible speed. Returning his attention to the mercenary, he tracked the Meta, and updated the piloting information to hit the current position of War-Pulse. Hopefully this would help end the fight, either to let Equilibrium get away, or put War-Pulse down.
There we go. Athinar takes a few hits, but eventually comes out on top, due to abilities that get stronger with more casualties.
As the crossbow bolts whistled towards Athinar, he only howled in delight. A real challenge, not some puny villagers, or pitiful sorcerer. As he closed the gap on the knight, six of the ten bolts caught him, two on his left shoulder, one on his right thigh, one was deflected by the armor on his left forearm, and one bounced off of his pauldron. The crossbow bolts only staggered him for a moment, causing him to shake his head, before ripping out the bolts, coming away with a spattering of blood. Running forward, Athinar threw the three bolts back at the crossbowmen, catching one twice in the throat, and another in the gut. Both fatal blows, with the force the fighter threw them with. The blood from the circular wounds oozed, rather than sprayed, as it seemed that he acted quickly enough to not have them cause any more serious damage.

Then, as he reached the knight, an arrow struck the champion's shoulder, freezing it, and turning everyone else's attention to the 'traitor'. Probably Narza or Umbra. Flinging his shield at Athinar's head, the bestial man ducked quickly as the hunk of metal slammed into a spearman behind him, knocking him out cold. When he attempted to slash his mysterious black sword at the knight, Athinar barely had time to brace himself before the knight swung the sword by the blade, aiming for his head. The hilt of the sword clanged as it was deflected by Athinar's helm, even if it did dent it inwards, slightly, not enough to become a liability to the fighter. The real trouble came when the knight dropped down, and hooked it around his ankle, causing him to begin to fall.

Before he reached the ground, however, the fighter reacted instantly, years of training by those pathetic monks serving him well. Stabbing his sword into the dirt, Athinar swung around the blade, sliding back, and digging a shallow trench in the earth as he knelt down, still moving away from the knight. As his backwards momentum halted, he pulled the sword from the ground, and stood up. So, it seemed that this knight was more resourceful than the others. Oh well. Athinar grinned ferally. He would still die like the others.

Before the knight could react, Athinar flung his sword at an armored swordsman, decapitating the guardsman, causing blood to spray from both his head and the stump of his neck. Stepping forward, locking his feet in place, Athinar cupped his hand in a clawed palm, focusing on the magnificent crimson spray around him. Instantly, the blood spilled by the battle, everywhere in the square, was sucked towards Athinar's palm, forming a red ball of energy there. Thrusting his palm at the Knight's head, he smiled, and whispered in the knight's ear, "Boom." As it impacted the helmet, an explosion, formed of the concentrated life-force in the blood, detonated. Even if the knight was unharmed, it would fling him backwards, causing him to land on his back. Around Athinar, a shockwave caused the five closest guards to be knocked into the ground, making them break several bones.

Athinar roared, a challenge to anyone nearby. Was there anyone who would try and take him on?
Probably for the best. I'm getting kinda stymied in working on the post, so go ahead.

Yeah, the Utopia village sounds cool.
I have spies in Kangaroo's network. It's kind of simple, really. Just shove ludicrous amounts of money around, and anyone will listen to you.
