I liked New Vegas more for the main quest.

However I don't think NV is that great for replaying.

I would guess 3 is better for that, but I haven't played it for a long time.

@Halo

I think this is the same thing as me, honestly. We're just doing different tasks.

It's nice to know there's someone else out there.

And it's not like I'm seeing nightmares on my phone. It's usually just texts that I eventually realize aren't real.

The thing that happened that triggered this thread was a bit different. I actually was checking RPG and saw that it was closed down.

And then I was like "Oh, that probably wasn't real. I must have imagined it. Let me actually check my phone."

"Oh wow, I guess it was real."

And then I realized that I imagined it twice in a row, which was pretty funny.

wake up, decide to check your phone, see something crazy or weird on it, and then realize that you didn't actually grab your phone? You were just lying there imagining/dreaming about what was on it?
Five years ago.

We were playing a game in drama class where everyone sits around in a circle and you have to try to get another person to smile. Usually by acting goofy.

They would have to say something like "Baby, I love you, but I just can't smile." without cracking up. If your target doesn't smile, you try something on someone else. If you sucked, you'd get a pity smile eventually and then it would be that person's turn.

Anyway.

I remember one time when it was my then girlfriend's turn.

She got on her hands and knees and seductively crawled towards me while I was supposed to keep a straight face.

I was very nervous and more than a bit embarrassed. It was surprising, especially because we hadn't really shown any other forms of PDA.

I was not really equipped to handle the situation.

She must have been very nervous about it. That's what I imagine, at least.

The point of the story is the fact that I didn't end up smiling, and how that was a mistake.

She was crawling on her hands and knees-- this teenaged girl (with her cleavage hanging out) who was the most important thing to me at the time--

...and I didn't even smile because I didn't want to lose and didn't realize that surrendering was actually a much more correct decision.

The reason I'm mentioning this is because I consider this to be my biggest social faux pas.

To this very day I will occasionally remember that scene and cringe at myself.

EDIT: Can you imagine how it must have felt to make this grand gesture in front of all your peers, only to be met with some zit-faced, shitty kid's stoic face in the end?

She was a quiet girl too.

If you were to tell me that- after seeing that last thread- that I would see an even dumber thread later on in the day, I wouldn't have believed it.

Yet here we are.
What a dumb thread.

If I were trapped in a room with everyone in this thread and had a gun with six bullets I would beat Azarthes to death with it.
Twilight author almost did the same thing with Edward's perspective.

But then someone leaked the first few chapters and she quit because of it.

Almost like Tarantino was going to do for his new film.

What a weirdo that guy is.

He'd probably be interested in the 50 Shades of Grey sequel.
I hate you, them, Spam, and myself.
