Azure Flame — Roleplayer Guild

Once they arrived in Viridian, Chuck headed straight for the gym.  There he met Blue and said "I, Chuck North from Lumiose City in the Kalos Region, challenge you to a gym battle!"  Blue accepted and the battle began.

First, Blue sent out Tyrannitar and Chuck sent out Nissa the Clefable.  Tyranitar used Stone Edge, but Nissa dodged and unleashed a Moonblast, scoring a direct hit, launching it into the wall, and KOing it.

Up next was Gyarados, who got a clean hit with an Iron Tail, knocking out Nissa.  Chuck then sent out Tesla the Jolteon.  Gyarados tried to force it out with a Dragon Tail, but Tesla was able to jump over it and fired off a Thunderbolt, dealing massive damage due to the double weakness, scoring Chuck another KO.

Blue then sent out Exeggutor.  Chuck recalled Tesla and sent out Azriel the Alakazam.  Both stood there, having a mental battle, both using Psychic on eachother, however Azriel was able to overpower Exeggutor's mind, and sent it flying across the room, getting another KO.

Out came Pidgeot and, unfortunately for Azriel, Blue had recently come back from the Alola Region, and managed to pick up a Z-Ring and a Z-Crystal.  Pressing it, and doing a special pose, Pidgeot was able to turn it's U-Turn into Savage Spin-out, dealing massive super effective damage to the Alakazam, and knocking it out.  Chuck decided to combat flying with flying, and sent out Tri the Dodrio.  They both clashed, Aerial Ace to Aerial Ace, however Pidgeot had the advantage in the fact it could actually fly, while Tri was unable to, it could only jump high enough to clash.  So it wasn't long until Pidgeot was able to overpower Tri and knock it out.  Chuck then sent out Titan the Golem, who was able to easily take down the weakened Pidgeot, with a Smackdown/Earthquake combo.

Next was Arcanine, who retaliated with a Sunny Day/Solar Beam combo, which easily took out Titan.  Down to two Pokémon each, Chuck sent out Zenni who got Arcanine good with Hydro Pump, forcing it against the wall while it's cannons continued unleashing a torrent of water until it couldn't take anymore and was KOed.

Finally, Blue was down to his last Pokémon, Blastoise.  Both activated their keystones, and it was a Mega Blastoie beatdown between the two of them, unleashing pulse moves left and right.  However, still being new to it, Zenni couldn't keep up the pressure and was KOed.  Both down to their last Pokémon, Chuck sent out Tesla, who was able to easily avoid the Mega Blastoise's attacks with it's superior speed.  By now, the Sunny Day had faded, and Chuck took a chance on Thunder.  He got lucky and scored a direct hit, knocking out the already weakened Mega Blastoise, and earning Chuck his 8th and final badge.
