"Indeed." Lucas said, looking around. He didn't notice it before, but it seemed his eyesight had sharpened since he woke up. He could see a lot more clearly, and much farther than he could before. His body also felt a lot more nimble. What he didn't notice, though the others could plainly see, was that he was now sporting a pair of pointed elf ears.

Lucas was shocked at how accurate his throws with the rocks were, hitting a few of the wolves and sending them scampering in pain. He also noticed Naomi's fists glowing. "Just what is going on here!?" he asked.
Lucas was about to say something to Typhon, but suddenly he felt himself drifting off. He awoke with a start when Naomi, whom he had apparently been sleeping on, suddenly leapt up and took off. He got up and went after her, calling out "What's going on Naomi!?" not realizing he too was moving much faster than normal. He also hadn't noticed the pointy ears he was now sporting.
He too saw the boy fighting the wolves, and then Naomi running at one with a piece of wood. He looked around and found a couple pebbles he began chucking at the wolves.
