So many people here who haven't seen The Office...

WATCH IT, PEOPLE. And make sure it's the American one. Just... just freaking do it.

Please @mention me when/if you post the OOC. If my plate isn't too full by then, I might be interested.
@DragonForALair More artists in the guild! Huzzah! Well, it's super cute.

Did someone say Five Mile Creek?

@MissCapnCrunchI'm guessing Vanessa can see all this? Or is it too far away?

Rhian shoved her hands in her pockets and kicked some of the bugs at her feet to make herself look preoccupied. She'd remembered Rose's name, of course, but she wasn't about to let her know that. The sooner she got to the school, the sooner she could get to her room and away from all this insanity. Well... as away from it as she could be. There was still the matter of all these nasty fucking bugs that wouldn't leave her alone-- any of which could suddenly become nightmare fuel if she thought about them too much. In spite of her frustration, she was relieved that at least one among them had an idea of which direction to go. She moved to follow Rose's lead.

The social ineptitude of Gale's introduction wasn't lost on Rhian. Dismissing him and his weirdness with a simple musing about what a freak he was would have been ideal. As she was very quickly growing accustom to, however, life had other plans. When he asked for her name, she raised her eyebrows and gave him a forlorn look of impatience before an aggravated sigh escaped her lips. The pure meanness of what she said next surprised even her. She couldn't look him in the eye when she said it.

"Can we skip the introductions and just get to the school already? I don't want to be stuck out here with you freaks after dark," with the worst of her words now having been said, she turned to face him, "If you absolutely HAVE to know, my name's Rhian."
Every GM has their own way of accepting character sheets. With the exception of audition-based methods, I hate hate haaaate it when people who are applying to a roleplay DON'T READ THE CHARACTER SHEETS OF THE CHARACTERS THAT ARE ALREADY A PART OF IT and then proceed to make characters that are VERY similar to one that's already been made.

Character diversity is important to me. And while I think it's totally fine to have a few similarities between characters, it really bugs me when there's like 5 lolis and 5 tsunderes that all have the same backstory/personality/likes/dislikes/magical powers/etc.

I'm pretty sure these people aren't doing this intentionally, but I just don't know why you wouldn't consider the other characters and what they're like before going ahead with your own. Or maybe they are doing that and thinking "to hell with it-- I'll do what I want". I can't say I haven't been guilty of making a character that was really similar to another in the same RP, but that's only when I'm like 90% done with a CS and somebody else posts theirs before me. And even then, I go in and tweak my CS to make sure I'm properly differentiating my character from theirs.

While on the topic of not reading character sheets, there's a special place in hell for people that don't EVER read the CSs of their fellow ACTIVE roleplayers. I spend more time on my sheets then I do on 4 or 5 big posts combined. And I ALWAYS read and make an effort to get to know the other characters. I thought this was like common courtesy or something? Are there a lot of people out there doing this? Why??
@Geno Exceptions Welcome to the guild. Undertale is the shit!

I dunno how many of you play League, but...

Jinx, Nami/Illaoi, Thresh/Orianna... and now Twisted Fate. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little giddy with all the unintended connections.
