Preeeetty much. Yeah, they got really lazy and neglectful at some point and Existence started deteriorating again until the Tier System took over and replaced the Nobles with something slightly more democratic—where positions of power were given to anyone who gained enough power and enough sense of responsibility to handle an entire facet of the multiverse.

Well, it was because of their ultra-powerfulness that they were able to overthrow the Anarchy System and replace it with something that was, at the time, way better: the Nobility System. They managed and sometimes micromanaged Existence with regulations and direct intervention.

Average, ultra-powerful joes. Most of them were pretty normal, really. Just neglectful. Actually, they didn't have anything to do with the Anarchy System.

You know, our group knows a couple people from back then. They're all imprisoned or dead for being evil or at least criminally neglectful, but we could probably ask.
