That is correct. Inquisitor.

This is about the 11th Legion that was declared excommunicatus. After long exile they have regrouped, rebuilt and resurfaced.

Join this game to learn more of this Legions lore, history and tactics, to add to its weft and to tell the story of one of its members.

In this game you will play a newly trained space marine, as part of a squad of space marines all from the 11th Legion. You will be operating independently of your company having been sent on a mission deemed of vital importance. Your chapter stats have already been set, but there is much room for customisation as the chapter allows diversity, self-training and research as an integral part of its doctrine. You are searchers, questers, and questioners. Given the equipment and the force to discharge your duties where authority fails, that is what it means to be an Argent Spear, and that is your chapter demeanour.

Argent Spears are neither heretic nore are they an codex astarties approved chapter. They do not see themselves as disloyal to the Emperor but rather, carrying out his instructions in a different way than he intended. The full meaning will be reavealed in time.

Gennaro Cavalieri

Alias: (street name) The Capo, The Mastermind, The Dons man, The Interrogator.

Age:34

Appearance:
A bald man with tanned skin and green eyes. Wears only the best suits, but has a style and colour unique to his own. (will be expanded on later)

Position:
Before Gennaro was promoted to Capo he was known as a quite accomplished interrogator. Whenever an individual was brought before him it didnt take long for Gennaro to know everything about him he needed to know to break him down, it wasnt long before they were reduced to a nervous wreck begging to tell him what they'd done, and how it wasnt really so bad. During his experience he was party to allot of secrets that could have damaged of the family. Allot of near misses that each could have destroyed a good portion of the families power, each time he protected them, as such he was put in a position of trust and was kept close to the main branch of the family. In time he might be allowed to become their negotiator.

Speciality:
While the race may go to the quick, and the fight to the strong and the con to the devious; Gennaros power is his connections, he always knows a guy and he may even know a guy who knows a guy. This serves as an excellent cover for his real ability, that only those who are close to him can guess and why they call him "Mastermind". He has a strange ability to link minds. It is not under his control or rather it is passively active, its effect is that he can borrow a few IQ points from people around him to boost his own intelligence. The more people around him, the more intelligent he can become. He can gain impressions such as visions and snippets of information from those in his "network". He can turn it off so it doesnt effect people he likes but he cant control it, or rather it isnt about willpower, maybe a cup of camomile tea after reading an interesting article can improve his ability, but thats it. Its possible that some day he could focus his ability all onto one human causing a sort of brain drain, but he hasnt been able to do this yet.

Personality:
Gennaro is a man of great intelligence and equally of disciplined dedication. Indeed he often says "the mind starts out like coal, but if enough pressure is applied it can turn into a diamond." Thus he is constantly looking for ways to enhance himself and indeed sees working for the family as being an extension of that. His mood is often difficult to read, from one minute taciturn, the next he is jovial and friendly.

History:
Gennaro grew up with a fairly poor family living in an Italian ghetto, his father was well off but had taken a job overseas so he didnt see much of him. He was introduced to the mafia by his uncle who was a respected consigliere. He developed his own sense of morality that didnt come out of any official manual, he believed in being a man of your word, and never compromising someone's tust. He saw the mafia like many italians, as businessmen of a noble family and looked up to them as they were the only ones that would drop by with a steak or some ribs when there wasnt any food on the table. When the Great War came, Gennaro signed up to fight. Serving with the American army he saw enough blood and trenches to fill ten lifetimes. He seldom talks about any of it, even with his friends, even with his family. When Gennaro came back it was hard to find work, that was until his uncle introduced him to the don.

Superpower Mafia style RP?

Just putting this out there; but if it were in the story that these powers could be dampened by a certain field, like a strong electrical field like in a 1920s police tazer, then maybe the poweres themselves arise from our bodies use of a certain field that we tap into. And different DNA results in different adaptations from the field. Such as super speed in one case resulting from fast twitch muscle tapping into the field, and super intellegence resulting from either gray or white matter that can tap into the field. We could even say that theres a special organelle inside the cells of supers, such as an adapted mitochondria... we'd still need to think of a name for it. How about Asclepichondria after the son of Appolo and god of medicine Asclepius.
