The two Siesta Sisters threw off a salute towards Dio before starting to lead the way. It was clear that they needed to move quickly, and it seemed that Dio couldn't be in the sun. That didn't complicate things to much, but it was still interesting. One of the more famous fantasy creatures for "not allowing the sun to hit them" was the vampire of course, but in this place, could you really trust some old stories and use that to judge what something was?

Regardless of that, the two of them were loyal guards, and had no time for wandering thoughts. They needed to focus on the task at hand and perform admirably. They had long since cleared the general area before the barrier went up. Within a few minutes at most, they would reach the ship.
There are things to do and things not to do in the sea of kakera. It was really simple, honestly. But that had nothing to do with this situation at all.

The army was fully encompassed after they had appeared, but this was not antagonistic in nature. It was merely a barrier that would "only allow Carmilla and Mereana, along with any interference they made, enter or exit said barrier". Even if one had the ability to defy that, which shouldn't happen, there'd be a horrible result for them if they did. It wasn't a literal barrier of course, it was a boundary. It was not directed at the forces that had randomly appeared out of no where, rather, it was to keep the fight raging between the goats and decepticons outside from stirring things up. After all, this was a very tenuous situation. They didn't need some goat setting this powderkeg off did they?

"Oho? Well, this is rich. A human? It has been quite a while since anyone has called me that."
"I suppose it is good that I am mechanical in nature instead of magical, or that field would have been annoying. However, you seem to have this vague impression of superiority."
"A mere witch should know her place, speaking to an ambassador of the God-Killer."
"Surely, miss. You do not intend to declare War. I believe you witches are not used to threats. As such, allow me to repeat this scene so you may better understand. We'll rig your immortal body up to a pole and have you tortured and raped until you beg us to finally kill you. Or is that still too vague?"

"Seventy six million fifty five thousand two hundred eighty one." The witch Mereana was sitting cross legged on a broomstick floating over the opposing forces. Her words were a direct response to everything he had said before. What it meant was up to the imagination, of course, but it certainly couldn't be called a hostile action.
I don't mean to seem imposing, but is it alright if you put most of that app in a hider?

Also, an interesting character, and certainly a classic.

Oh man, I never check PMs. I'll send a response as soon as possible. I sort of got off to do other things after I posted my post last night. I should be back in a few hours, so I'll make sure to give you a response as soon as possible.

I apologize about being late in acknowledging it ;w;

I'm glad someone agrees with me, to see what has happened simply makes me sad. I don't think that we have to always be okay with eachother but I do think that we shouldn't fight to the point where people are leaving.

I'll try to ensure there are no more posts on here between people debating. Any further of that will be handled in the PMs, as Elsa has asked us to do.
Seeing as how everyone seems incredibly reluctant to give me a proper description of how this power works, I've looked it up myself. It only activates when used against an opponent's most powerful attack. This only works if it is their most powerful attack, and is absolutely and completely useless against well-rounded mages such as most of the masters in the series, or, of course, Stein. Furthermore, the blade does not cut it's opponent in half, it rather causes a small hole more-less the size of a pebble, the minimal amount to gauge out the heart.
There, this has been solved. Now, based on the fact that I want this fight to be over, I will compromise and agree to both characters living, despite the fact that Fragrach should not have been used in this manner, and has been abused in these fights. In the future, I shall react appropriately, and be researching every item Gilgamesh pulls out. Now I need to go calm down.

No, not today. I'd given you more then enough times to compromise, and even agreed to give you all the information on a characters ability after the fight was over. I did so because I have the greatest knowledge of that universe here; there's practically nothing I don't know about the Nasuverse. I know every weakness and every strength Gilgamesh has, and as someone just trying to diffuse the situation, I'm not going to assist one side or the other in the fight.

Had you said yes, you would accept a Out of Character compromise, I would've given you the information. But you didn't want that. You wanted a negotiation on your terms; as I suspected, no less.

It's clear you didn't see me as a neutral party, rather, as an obstacle in your way. So, you went to the wiki, got some basic information, and then declared you're "letting him live". I know this universe well, far more than anyone on that wikia.

My question wasn't whether or not you'd ICly let him live. If it was if you were fine with the concept. So then, allow me to explain why Lax is being generous and allowing you to live right now. Because believe me, even if we assume the heart was switched, Stein should be a fine, pink mist.

It only activates when used against an opponent's most powerful attack.

Furthermore, the blade does not cut it's opponent in half, it rather causes a small hole more-less the size of a pebble, the minimal amount to gauge out the heart.

All of this is assuming your plan works. We're not even debating whether or not he can get past the yukari barrier and if the Stein heart is conceptually Steins heart, or if it'll just pierce both hearts. Well, considering the user can target which part of the body Fragarch hits when they use it, hmmmm, couldn't they pick which heart it hit? But I don't even need to use that debate.

And to make it clear; Fragarch's big counter is to not use your trump card against it. It's also no good against people who can heal themselves or take large amounts of damage. Of course, against someone with the constitution of that level, what can you expect. Of course it's powerful. Gilgamesh is one of the stronger characters of this RP, just like Bob, or the Slivers.

With that said, I think I may just take a permanent leave of absence from this roleplay. It's clear that, even if both characters come out living, there has to be a gigantic multi page debate over whether one character gains a pyrric victory they shouldn't even attain in the first place.

What was this debate for, again? In the end, Wizard agreed to let both live. But only when it was on his terms and he "thought" he had Gilgamesh by the balls. That entire unsightly debate was over who got to spare who, nothing more, nothing less.

My apologies if I've angered or offended you during this debate and this post, Wizard. I did not intend to do either if that happens, but I don't believe this is right, and I can't just stand by and let it happen around me.

Lax, Guy, and Sakaki all agree with me on this fact, so yea, sorry guys, we may just be gone soon. I'll do what I can to make sure the decpticons get a fun fight with the goats and Dio gets his ship regardless of whether we leave or not.

Also, sorry for bringing this debate up again, guys. It may be my last post here, so I thought I'd go out with a bang~
So no compromise then?

Alrighty. In that case I'll get directly involved.

So then, lets assume that Fragarch fails and hits the other heart and explodes, just like you intended. Would you be satisfied with that result, Wizard? I can confirm he was holding Fragarch out like this, right;

As he held up his left hand, blood dripped to the floor. In the palm of his hand he held his heart, previously discarded in the forest. And, impaled through it and into his palm, was the unblockable dagger that had been blocked, the weapon that could rewrite all of reality. Fragarach had finally failed to kill.

madam, i'm afraid this is something you can not simply "pass" on. you have been for the past hour (at least) been defending a character that by all rights should be dead along with stein for, and i'm of course paraphrasing, "reasons" so if you wish for any of your arguement to be valid at all then i'd suggest listing it's short comings right now before i unleash my character and his first action would be to devour gilgamesh's soul (which is far from his greatest technique) using one of his hexes

Hmmmmmm? I suppose you didn't take my lesson about words being wind to heart, and quotes being iron.

Feel free to do so, stopping you falls upon the responsibility of our co gm. However, I'd advise against entering in the RP without co gm approval. It's uncouth and against the rules, but my words are wind just like yours.

Well then, I suppose there'll be no compromise here in that case.
