That's actually a good question, I hadn't considered that. Preferably no more than two at one time, and one should be more "support".

But if you want to have a roster of characters I'm okay with that, as long as you aren't playing them all at once.

Well, if I were to want to use as little stats as possible I might use some kind of token system.

Like every in-game year or whatever each country gets a certain number of tokens, and each battle we basically "bet" the tokens. Whoever spends the most wins the battle, but no one gets tokens replenished until the next year.

We could PM you the number of tokens we bet, that way there won't be any cheating.

I'm not saying this is a better system than the one you suggested, this is just something off the top of my head.

Are you sticking with clear East vs. West, or will it be a free for all (either way, the likes of Mi6 will probably be spying on allies anyway)? Either way, I'm interested.

More of a free-for-all. With the rapid advancement of technology and the ever changing political landscape it's becoming increasingly clear that most governments aren't going to survive in their current forms -- something that many agents may have trouble coping with.

I'm thinking full on freelance assassin with stolen military tech. The type of guy with Bond-style bullshit tucked into every pocket and more then glad to use it. Efficient, tactical, and maybe having a little too much fun with slaughtering people.

Great! You should begin thinking about your spies while we wait for new players.

You should particularly consider of whether they're patriotic or freelance, and a special gadget of your choice (I recommend Jerry Cornelius or Aeon Flux for inspiration on that front).

But above all else: be groovy.

So posts are made to be ignored, and exchange of views are forbidden? Holy moley, now I've seen everything. What's worse is that this policy appears to work on a larger scale rather than being an isolated incident. This was never a problem before the site crashed, before that RP really, what's happened? When was this policy implemented in roleplayerguild?

Okay -- this. This is what I'm talking about.

You both exchanged your views, and no one was budging. Once the other person has stopped responding, but you still are despite making everyone uncomfortable, that's when things need to end.

And for the love of god please don't read non-existent subtext like there's some kind of conspiracy to make you look bad, you sabotage yourself with things like that.

An argument is classified as an exchange of diverging views, no matter how civilized.

Regardless, the whole thing was something that could easily have been ignored.

Trust me, I'm not passing judgement, it's just that as an outside viewer it was clear that no one thought it was that big a deal besides you.
