Yes but... In no reality is a groin kick lethal. It just hurts like hell. So I'm not really sure what your point is.

My point ties in to Earnest's comment that I quoted. She can push through a lot of pain because she already has.

I don't think applying video game logic to character durability is a good idea.

Though I have played a paladin that forgot they had a zweihander through their torso for the duration of: finishing the fight with the guy by punching him repeatedly; carrying him to the point his army could see; fighting said army until the battle actually finished. With no ill effects because it was just HP damage. That was weird. XD

My point exactly. The shots that would have been lethal in a real-world environment ended up being the killing blows only because that's when I ran out of Health.
Only thing I'll say about that is, of COURSE the only lethal shots were ones where she died and you had to restart. That's... LITERALLY how lethality works.

And there goes my facepalm.

The only shots that could be considered lethal in a real-world environment that I saw were ones that killed her in the game. Other than that, they were survivable and, in a real-world environment, would have left her crippled. Does that make more sense?

How can you train your Thu'ums if you don't like using them?

Greybeards.

Also, for those of y'all wondering why she used Thu'ums so early in the battle was more of a warning. She's not likely to use them often. Make more sense?
Alright, before this becomes too big a debate, let me rephrase my points earlier.

1: The steel armor would give her some protection against an impact there.

To add to this point:

I'd probably say Shivani can power through a kick to the groin like she could power through a blow to the kidneys. Yeah, it's painful, but it's not like she hasn't faced worse before. Multiple kicks would probably do some serious damage, though.

She's taken an arrow through both cheeks, most of her arms and legs, a couple in actually non-lethal places on her torso. The only "lethal" (because video game logic) arrow shots I ever saw on her were at the points where she actually died and I had to restart from my last save point.

2: I had thought the kick was to her chest. Now, I can go and edit it now that I know it's not, if people on Skype will stop bugging me to see if my brother's on.

3: Before thinking of the energy behind the Thu'ums, all I had thought they were was words that were weapons.

A good counter-argument:

Also Thu'ums presumably have a cooldown because you're exhausting a large amount of energy when you manipulate the state of reality.

My counter:

Shivani has been at this for years and, through intense training, could have lessened most of the cooldowns in the AU she's from. However, because it's not in her CS, GM's call.
@Xenonia Armor. That would lessen the kick. (Not to mention I thought it was towards the chest.) And the Thu'ums, by all actuality, shouldn't need a cooldown except to keep people from just spamming them in the game. Now, since Shivani doesn't like using Thu'ums that much, using 2 in quick succession should be allowed.
Shivani - Nox

Shivani took the kick with a growl and landed on her feet a couple yards back. "If that's the way you want to play." she growled in pain. "Wuld nah KEST!" she shouted, throwing herself into the man, swords swinging, aimed to slash across his midsection. Whether the blades connected with anything or not, she would follow up with another swing, spinning quickly with rapid slashes. "Are you sure you want to continue this fight?"
Shivani - Nox

When Shivani saw the ship fall and heard the men's comments, she sighed, following them quickly. However, when she arrived with them, things seemed to go south fast. The man from the wreck seemed insane and was threatening all three of them.

"I have no idea what a Tajaran is." she said, pushing lightly against the trowel to her throat. "But if you do not sheath your weapon, you will learn exactly how deadly a Khajiit warrior is. She gave a hard shove against the weapon before drawing her own, crossing the blades by the stranger's neck. "Back down before you lose your head in the only way you haven't already."

She had hoped he would attack her. She needed a reason to get her anger out and, so far, this man seemed to be the only offer. She only hoped the fight wasn't over too quickly.

If the man backed down, she would sheath her weapons and step back to Shazay do the talking.

If he proceeded to attack, she would block with one blade before spinning to kick the man back.
@VitaVitaAR You still haven't said anything about Kaze's CS back on page 118 (I think) and he's waiting on you. If there's anything else he needs to add, I'll help him with it.
@VitaVitaAR KazeXDZ finished his CS, was he accepted? It's on page 120.
Also, Earnest, Shivani's wife is a Redguard and her children are a Nord and an Imperial. She's the only beast-type in her family.
