'Never pass as older than 21'. Natalie found herself sighing softly as she bit her bottom lip. That's it. I'm never ever going to get older. she said to herself in her head. "Oh, right..." She said, then listened as she was told about her fangs. She let out a breath of relief as she found out she'd be able to make them retract. Thank god.

"There is one more thing, actually. I'm always really... hungry. Like, super hungry. I guess you get what I mean. Sometimes it burns so bad. I look at people... and it's like I can see the blood in their bodies. It hardly ever stops. Is there anywhere here I can umm, sort that out? And will it always be like that?"

Natalie found herself sorting through the thousands of questions she had in her mind, trying to decide which ones were most important and which could wait. She didn't want to waste too much of Thelma's time. "Okay, first off, am I going to stay sixteen forever?" She asked, looking down at herself. Previously she had been so excited to finally be an adult, to go off and do what she wanted, when she wanted. She didn't know if that was ever going to happen.

"Also, these fangs..." She said, running her tongue over them. "Can I ever put them away? Or are they always there?" She asked. Natalie's fangs weren't big at all, probably baby fangs in vampire terms, but they wouldn't go away. She wanted to ask about the thirst, if it ever went away. It was so intense all the time, sometimes it was like she could see the blood rushing through a persons veins. She hated it. But she was too embarrassed to ask straight away.

Natalie followed Thelma out of the mess hall, walking around and in between other campers as she followed her out. She stood by the door as Thelma leaned against the wall, then she moved to stand in front of the counsellor but made sure she was still in the shade. Natalie's eyes lit up a little as she listened. She wasn't completely alone in what she had been through. Thank god.

"I really appreciate that". She said, giving a smile to the woman as she moved a bit further into the shade, before continuing. "Like, a lot. Thank you. And actually, I do have a couple of questions if you can spare the time?" She asked, just as two roses began to grow from vines coming through the wall. Natalie raised her eyebrow as she reached out to pick one.

Natalie nodded softly as she looked down at the seated counseller. "Yeah, thats me". She said, giving a warm smile as she tried to make a good impression. "Yeah, we can talk if you'd like. I hope its all gold things that you've heard about me". She laughed, still quite nervously as she knew it was probably nothing good at all.

Natalie looked over the counsellor at the table and listened as she spoke. "My names Natalie". She said, "Natalie Mansfield, if you need my last name". She said and gave her a smile, wondering if they were the same. She wouldn't ask outright though, just in case she wasn't. Natalie looked around the room a couple of times as the counsellor found what she needed, scanning the people's faces and trying to gauge who was going to be her friend, hopefully. She wanted somebody she could have fun with while she was here, hopefully her new friends weren't all sticks in the mud.

@medalliah Sorry! One of the counsellers, either Lilac or Thelma.

Natalie was sat near the back throughout the whole speech. She kept quiet, not really speaking to anybody. This wasn't because anyone had annoyed her, she was just very new to this whole thing and was finding it was a lot to take in. Here she was, sitting in a room full of Leoh that she didn't know existed just a month ago. It was quite overwhelming, and she was getting that tugging feeling in her stomach again. She ran her tongue over her fangs as the speech finished and she stood, going straight over to the counsellors so she could get what she needed.

She went over to the first one she saw that was free, a woman, and gave her most confident smile.
"Hello, my names Natalie Mansfield". She spoke, twiddling her thumbs as she spoke in her thick London accent.
