Bio: “Well where to start, I was born somewhere in the late 1700s” “Sorry I can’t really remember when specifically My Dear Fellow. My parents raised me pretty well. At the age of… 10 I believe, they sent me to a private school.” “Was I bullied? No not really, sure there would be the occasional tussle between students. But I don’t remember any specific incident involving myself.”
“But truly I don’t remember much of my school life, other than its library, where I discovered a tome of eldritch lore. I thought It was full of rubbish at the time. For it spoke of gigantic machines capable of sending men across space, time and everything between, It was later after my parents passed on and I where inherited there vast fortune.
At first I used it to travel across the world from Japan to Africa. But during my stay in Africa, I heard a shaman speak of metallic portal, curious I spoke to him about said portal, He told me that gods built it. To connect to us mortals, for us to visit them, surly I was intrigued as you are right now. Then I remembered the tome and as told you before it spoke of said machine.
I now had a goal: To find the machine and speak to gods, people call me mad. The church labeled me a heretic or blasphemer, I think? The church part might just be something I read in a book ages ago. But whatever people thought I was going mad, that part I can assure you is true.
And spend as much of my fortune to find it, and I did find it…. By complete and utter accident.
You see I was in this pub when I overheard, this woodsman speak of a metallic tree. But as you can guess I wasn’t the only one to overhear the woodsman. There others who joined me on finding it…..sadly any memory i have of them has long since been removed from my memories. Oh dear it seems I have become emotional, I thought I had overcome this. I thought I was ready to tell someone about the experience. But I guess I was wrong. You know what the worst part about this is? I know absolutely nothing about those who joined me on my search, but I know I had such a strong bond with each and every one of them. That I still weep over them. Despite not remembering any of them”
