@Lucius Cypher Hahahaha, no. In all that SRD list I only see 2 electrical spells from lvl. 0-5. I just can't limit myself to know only 2 electrical spells, one of them being shocking grasp which empowers your punch with electricity meaning I have to get THAT close as it was discussed earlier. If your only problem is with my teleport, I'll change it for something else, no need to give me a spell list made for punching bags...

Actually all my spells are from that menu...if you would be so kind as to show me any other menu, please do so. And I also deleted 2 paragraphs of my bio when I read that it had to be short and something must remain a mystery for later. So during the RP if the chance comes I'll reveal them. Also if you don't like anything about my post just notify me and I'll change them as soon as I can.

Following the instructions of his father, Xavio had finally arrived in the desert city if Saphire where the Mage's Guild was located and he was sure that if anyone knew about his mother's whereabouts or what happened many years ago, they would have the answers. Upon entering the city he noticed the streets full of people going about their ways and merchants trying to direct the people's paths toward their way. Not many merchants tried to grab Xavio's attention, after all, they mostly went after the rich looking folk. Seeing a merchant laying his gold coins on the table, and after counting about 37 of them, he stuffed them back in his pouch on to his belt. So happy-looking he was, murmuring that happy song of his, coins jingling along with his fat stomach and tits while he was slightly dancing with the murmur's rhythm, the sweat coming from the heat didn't make it any better either. "That man really needs to lose some pounds, maybe I shall help him"- were Xavio's thoughts as he went to the man from the back and snatched his gold pouch from his belt while dropping a pouch filled with bronze coins of his own. "I'll have your pouch and in return you can have mine you fat piece of...meat", and just as the merchant was about to retaliate Xavio got some magic dust from one of his pouches and threw it at the merchant's face while quickly leaving. That should make him forget, also has the benefit of making him look like he sniffed some sugar.
Heading to the nearest tavern, being tired and thirsty, after all, those jellybeans didn't provide his body with water, he went to the bartender and the first thing he could mutter was "water" with a ragged voice and dry throat. Throwing in some silver coins and waiting for the glass of water.
When he finally arrived carrying a glass with a light yellow liquid Xavio's face went pale. The bartender brought the glass up to him while saying:"Here's your water" laying it on the table. Xavio looked at the glass then looked at the bartender, eyes sparkling with an intention to, how do you say it, beat the shit out of this imbecile. The bartender noticed Xavio looking intently at him, than he looked at the cup of water, smiling he replied:"I swear it was transparent when I poured it in...". This place was so filthy that even the air could turn the water yellow, let alone unwashed glasses. Using a spark of electricity to charge up the drink, than pouring it in the bartender's face, sent him in a spasm like condition, making his face look even dumber than it was before which was surprising that it could even look dumber. A few laughs exploded in the tavern while the bartender was mumbling incomprehensible words while still in his shocked state. Quickly getting up and leaving, more thirsty than when he entered, Xavio noticed a leaflet laying on the ground. Upon picking it up he read the quest and that it was issued by the Mage's Guild. When someone next to him in a table nearby noticed him reading it, he notified Xavio that the quest was already taken although:"The more the merrier"- the guy said also adding that any participants in the quest would be rewarded handsomely, being taken before the Guild Master to deliver the required item. When Xavio asked him of the location of the temple the other one simply responded with:"Time is gold, would you like to save YOUR time in exchange for some golden coins?"- and sure thing Xavio handed him 5 gold coins for that guy just to tell everything the old wizard conversed with the others. As soon as he was finished, Xavio quickly reached his hand behind the informer's neck, sending electric impulses paralyzing the guy while quickly leaning him backwards on his chair. He deprived the fella of all his money, 7 gold coins and 30 silver pieces to be exact including the money he got from him, and quickly left hoping to catch up with the others, hopefully they would let him join in.
The best chance he had of finding his mother was talking to the guild master himself. This was an opportunity he could not miss, an opportunity who came with added reward in the end. Just as he got outside, he noticed a man screaming at a guard about his lost camels, more like crying anyway. Luckily for Xavio there was only one other camel left. As both he and the guard had their backs turned, he took the chance and sneaked behind them, a thing which was made easier by the screaming and whining of the "victim".
Walking the camel as he was, all Xavio could think about was water. After he made sure he was far enough from the merchant,(when his cries couldn't be heard anymore), Xavio proceeded to stab any barrel he came across. While mostly resulted to be fruits, ale and wine, just as he was about to lose all hope and settle for something alcoholic, one crate spilled water from its contents. Nearly breaking the crate in a death-hug, he drank and drank until..., well until he was told off and had to pay for the whole barrel. This happening in open environment filled with people and guards, some of them approaching the "soon-to-be problem", Xavio couldn't pull of his take&run strategy so he had to pay up this time. Good thing he cracked it open near the top, now he could just load it in the camel and carry it for his journey.
As he reached the outskirts of the city, following the path that supposedly lead to the resurfaced temple, never can truly trust info brokers, he was met with the sight of:"One,two three,four five people, one of them looks to be riding a giant boar, well we won't get hungry during the journey at least and I don't mind the eye candy either..."-he murmured to himself as he viewed the three girls, especially as he studied the half-naked one(as called by the info broker). "HEEEEY, WAAAAAIT"- Xavio yelled as he tried to catch up with the others riding his camel like you would a horse. He was also told of a guy with a mask and an eagle nesting his head, as ridiculous as it sounded back at the tavern he still couldn't believe it. Making a mental note to check that guy's head for any eggs that happen to be lying there, he started raiding faster(or so he hoped) towards the group while constantly yelling for their attention while gesturing with hands.

OK I finished my character, take a look and tell me which spells to remove if there is a problem in choosing spells from other schools of magic except evocation, yell me and I'll go full evoc.
Now, for the way on how to catch up with you guys, hmm...

Do I have permission to add more kinds of magic (only using lightning for attacks still), because there isn't much lightning magic lvl.0. Also, to your judgment, which is better dandwiki.com/wiki/Energy_Blast_%283.5e.. or dandwiki.com/wiki/Energy_Bolt_%283.5e_..?
On a side note, could my character have knowledge and skills in hand-to-hand combat? Also, would having a dexterity enhancing item be OK with you? I removed all that time stop thing I wrote earlier.

@Lucius Cypher Time may slow for me but it goes on as normal for others. dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Time_Stop is what you were talking about but my ability is more like an "excuse" to explain my *heightened reflexes on dodging hits and attacks when this ability is active*, deflecting arrows(putting your hands at the point where they were to make contact with your body) and also misdirecting sword strikes(meaning to put your hands at the point where the sword would make contact with your body and when the sword hits your metal plated gloves you slide it away to get the sword away from you).*The speed part bonus if I chose to activate it during this abilities duration may increase my speed but will give me negative effects on everything else after it has ended.* I just wrote it this way to explain it better but I will remove it if you still consider it too OP or inconvenient.
***TL;TR In other words this ability gives me more reflex, deflection(and speed but with negative effects afterwards) and I will remove it if you say so.***

Name: Xavio Rosmund

Age: 22

Race: Human

Class: Battle Sorcerer

Appearance: Grey hair & eyes (with all the stress he got from the doll all those years what do you expect ;) 1.70cm tall and weighs at about 73kg. Athletic build, a very fast runner, if you would put him in race with a horse... OK the horse would win but you get my point. Bearded (unshaven for close to 3 weeks) which combined with his overall facial appearance gives him off as a much older person. Leather gloves extending to his elbow also metal plated in the forearm part and boots,

a hood and cloth to cover his face below the eyes. Has a severe case of automatonophobia (fear of life-like objects:dolls,puppets,scarecrows,moving toys etc), more specifically fear of Plushie-like things.

Biography: His first memory, probably the happiest(in the start anyway), was when he got his first stuffed toy, a Plushie... It became his best friend, they talked about everything, well Xavio talked the most while the Plushie only responded with phrases like :"Knife is dull, what do you taste like or, give me the black unibow cornrain!". Having someone to talk to was always a good thing although as soon as the parents came to check on him the "toy" just seemed to stop in its tracks and become lifeless always with that creepy smile in its face.

The more Xavio grew up the more he found the fact that the thing was alive and conversing with him, saying many random stuff while making creepy gestures accompanying what it was saying. At one point he tried to tell his parents what was happening but they just dissed it as a child's fantasy until the fated day When his mother just vanished and his father would always avoid talking about her, getting sad every time he heard her name being mentioned...

After this traumatic experience Xavio learned that his father was a sorcerer and his mother a wizard, and like them, Xavio also showed potential in the field. Many years went by as Xavio was tutored by his father in the ways of magic, more specifically lightning. Now, after learning his fathers most adept spells, he was ready to create his own path in life and the first thing he intended to do was search for the whereabouts of his mother.

Off to the desert city of Saphire and a new beginning...

Skills: A master of running away from danger and flawless evasion abilities. Has high dexterity coming from a ring located in his wedding finger in the left hand. If all else fails, as his last defense method he uses the metal plated parts on his forearms to defends against attacks. The metal is also enchanted so it repairs itself from any damage after battle. His preferred magic is lightning although he still can perform other spells types from other schools of magic. Carries many pouches holding many different materials needed to perform his spells. Also carries a dagger, mostly for gathering and other basic needs.

Well firstly I'm doing some studies on D&D before I get through with building a character, secondly have you played "Wizards Choice: Delight games"? The more I read about D&D the more I see some resemblances. The last chapter that has you venture into the demon realms left a huge impression on me. It's a Choose-your-own-story game.@EWillden
Edit: So we're using only spells as listed in D&D or could we make some of our own and now that I said that, could I be a sorcerer or would that be bad for the team comp? I would go for full lightning damage sorcerer who knows many advanced lightning spells and almost nothing outside of that field.
