@littleone - No. The world would not be better off without you. Those who know you will greatly miss you. Hang in there. Sometimes it might not seem like it but you mean a lot to those who love you.

I'm in the process of moving so I'm currently a bit CrAzY at the second. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal reply schedule soon (after the move and the insanity of getting basic unpacking done)

A bit disappointed, Trex looked over at Zelia. Thankfully, she had picked up the exceed and was now holding the little guy. Glancing at Lucy, he nodded in agreement as Zelia replied. "Thank you for your help." He told them. "If you hear anything please let us know."

"We will." Natsu promised. The idea of another dragon slayer excited him. If they could get the guy into their guild they would be even more powerful. There weren't that many dragon slayers around, and even less natural ones. He did not know any other guild that had more than one. Considering they had at least four now that Laxus was back, they were becoming pretty famous as the dragon slayer guild. Besides, maybe this new dragon slayer will know what happened to Igneel. After all these years, Natsu still hadn't given up hope that he will one day find the dragon.

"And we'll check with the other guild members to see if they've heard anything." Wendy promised. Though, the odds were doubtful. If anyone in the guild heard about another dragon slayer they would have let Natsu and the others know right away.

"Thanks." Trex stated gratefully. Giving a firm nod, Trex turned followed Zelia back outside. "Well that was a bummer." He declared. He looked toward Bodo. "Sorry little guy. You'll have to stick with us until we find this Gyatsu." He stated, however long that took. Untying the horses, Trex grabbed the reins. "You ready?" He inquired looking at Zelia. "Did you want to stop off at your apartment and drop your stuff off?" It was on the other side of town but he did not mind. The trip out of town was going to be a long walk and there was no reason to carry extra gear unless desired. Of course, if they had to stop somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the extra gear might come in handy. But then again, he was keeping his as he liked to be prepared. And knowing Zelia, she would probably keep hers as well.

With Flynn looking like he was sleeping, Skye pulled her bag over and opened it. Pulling out a book she had borrowed from the Fairy Tail library, she opened it up and found her spot. However, her mind was not into reading. Every bump caused her to glance up as if it was an attack. Finally sighing, she closed the book and put it back. She glanced over her shoulder to the road ahead.

The man driving the wagon seemed lost in his own thoughts. A piece of wheat hung from his teeth and every so often he would move it aside and spit tobacco to the side of the road. Grimacing, Skye looked away. How anyone could stand such foul stuff, she could not understand. She had tried it once, having been pressured to give it a try. Of course, it was more of a joke on her. "It's good. You'll like. She shook her head. She should have known better. But oh well.

The ride was long and a bit boring. Yawning, Skye leaned back and looked back up at the clouds. It was going to be a long day. She wondered what the others were doing and if they had made it safely. She hoped that they would make it safely back to Magnolia as well. Where was Tye and the others? She frowned thoughtfully. They would not have given up so easily. It wasn't in Tye's nature. Skye knew that she her sister would not rest until she had her way. Nothing seemed to please Tye more than to torment her younger sister. Skye sighed. It was a shame they had even came to Fiore. At least the others seemed more interested in getting the keys than in her. She bit her lip and pushed thoughts of the old gang away. No need to spoil such a good day. However, fear still rang in the back of her mind and she knew that whether it was today, tomorrow, or in a month. Tye would come back and deal with her and then her friends will know who truly was and leave her high and dry. She grunted. There was no need for Tye to kill her. There were worse things than death.
Trex repressed a groan as the exceed clutched to his leg. Great. Now he looked ridiculous. He could already hear the teasing coming from it. Thankfully, those right there were either to busy talking discussing the new dragon slayer or were to polite to say anything.

"Gyatsu." Natsu frowned thoughtfully. The name did not ring a bell to him. He shook his head. "Nope, not familiar with him." He declared. "What kind of dragon slayer magic does he use?" He inquired excitedly. They already had wind, iron, and fire. And if you included Laxus' power lightning. "Is he natural or second generation?" He inquired referring to if the wizard was trained by a dragon or had a lacrama implanted in him.

"That's not important." Gajeel replied cutting in. "The question is what kind of cowardly Dragon slayer will leave behind his kitty cat?" He demanded, seeing the injustice at this.
Apparently Bodo, despite the fact he had been left behind, was not pleased with the question. Finding off the verbal attack, Gajeel raised his hands in surrender. "Sorry." He declared. "No offense was intended."

"But seriously, why were you left behind?" Carla inquired curious. She had no clue what would happen if Wendy left her behind. The thought alone terrified her.

"We don't know." Trex declared. "That's why we are searching for Gyatsu." He informed them. "Once we find the dragon slayer we can get some answers." He looked at the various dragon slayers. "So none of you know the whereabouts or even heard of this guy?" He inquired.

They shook their heads. "Sorry." Wendy said frowning, a bit upset that she couldn't help. Though she was no longer a child, she still was young and very tenderhearted.

Listening to Flynn's reply, Skye nodded. It sounded like a good plan for her. And it would probably be quicker than trying to find a vague reference in the enormous library. Though a large library had a lot of benefits, to large made it difficult to find anything. Though large, the Fairy Tail library was not that big comparatively and would probably still have some information regarding it. "I guess we should head back then." She stated rising.

Technically, her work at the Great Library was complete. She had found what she was looking for. Well, confirmed her fear. Now there was nothing to do but head back. "Should we acquist a wagon?" She inquired. Though she did not mind walking and had done so for most of her life, a wagon was faster. And when it came to the Fairy Tail wizards, they seemed to think that speed was more essential than walking. Which made sense when one had money to pay for it. She did admit it was nice getting from town to town within the day instead of having to spend several days on the road between towns.

Quickly getting their stuff, Skye watched as Flynn checked out before following him outside to go find a mode of transportation. It did not take them long before they found a merchant heading to Magnolia who would give them a ride for a reasonable price. Though it did mean they had to ride in the back between bags of food stuff. At least they would have something to lean against.

Skye was glad that Flynn had stated they should just head back to Magnolia and wait for the others. Though she did not show it, she was relieved that if they were going back into Waas Forest at least there would be four of them. Not only would they have a better chance against whatever was in there but if Tye did show up to cause trouble there would be more people backing Skye up. She shuddered. Hopefully, Tye would not show up. They were going to have enough issues in the forest and Skye did not want to add to them. Leaning back against a stack of flour she stared up at the bright blue sky. No clouds were around which meant it was going to get hot later but at least it was a beautiful day.
Yeah. Something I learned. But that's actually good. I'm doing an RP right now where I am doing the leading and its not as fun as the ones that are give and take. I like the ones where both sides contribute to the story and throwing in new things. Where each individual occasionally will lead and then switch depending on the circumstances.

Yeah. I heard Texas was a bit racist. Where I live, whites are a minority and most of us don't notice the difference between Hispanic and white. Go to Texas and they aren't as intermingled or "understanding". But he should have a good time. And not everyone is stuck in racism, despite what the media likes to project (but then again, haven't been there so... yeah.)

As for sneaky Jack

Yes and no. I'll be glad to be finally done but I'm not looking forward to a five day-40 hour week. But oh well. I should have a job I love and should have fun.

Books are almost always better than the movie. I think the only exception is if the movie was made first and then it would depend. I thought about getting the book to read but wasn't so sure. I hear the first two are great but the third is horrible. Not sure I wanted to start a series with that in mind. Not to mention, it costs money. :)
But that makes sense. Some movies can capture the essence of a book (rarely) but some are unable to get to the depth a book provides in the amount of three hours.
So I understand that it seems shallow.

right.... I'm sure his end of the story will be different. About how you never let him play with his PS3 anymore.
Jk. That's fun. Playing video games together is good, especially as it brings out a bit of the fun competition. :)

The two were shoved along and back into the elevator. The ride down was quiet and the one time Miranda tried to say something she was quickly told to be quiet. Apparently, the guards were not in the mood to talk. The elevator continued down passing floor after floor. Miranda waited wondering what the pit was. If it was just a big hole in the ground then it shouldn't be to bad. Maybe the Doctor would call his TARDIS and get them out of there. Then they could face the boss again and deal with him. The fact that the play was still going on and people were dying did not please her. The longer they spent trying to stop this the more people died.

The elevator came to a stop at floor double zero and the doors opened. The guards pushed the two forward into a small waiting room where the lighting was so dim and the air was a bit foul. The heat itself was unbearable though Miranda couldn't tell where it came from or why it was so hot. Already, the extra layers from her costume weighed down on her making her to slowly perspire. Going over to the door on the other side, one guard swiped a key card unlocking it. He looked at the two prisoners and smirked. "Welcome to Hades." He said opening the door. The blast of stench nearly knocked Miranda backwards. The guards frowned and pushed the two prisoners forward onto a chain bridge. Glancing down, Miranda was unable to make out the bottom due to the blackness. She shivered at the thought of falling and turned her attention forward instead. The only light that illuminated the place was the flickering of torches stationed in various areas. "Keep moving." The guard ordered pushing them forward. "I don't want to stick around here longer than I have too."

As they walked along the bridge, Miranda made out multiple bridges ranging to various areas almost like an underground city. Tiny creatures that reminded her of trolls from Frozen rolled around and headed their way. However, unlike the ones from the movie, these ones had red eyes and made Miranda's skin crawl. They stayed a good distance back but called out rude suggestions as well as other things that made her ears burn. She was relieved to see that even the guards seemed a bit nervous around them. Clenching their weapons tightly, they pressed forward.

The region started to grow brighter as they moved forward as did the stench. Refraining from gagging, Miranda did her best to try to avoid breathing to much. Finally, they reached where they were going. Up ahead of them was an enormous monstrosity. Even sitting, it towered over them and the amount of fat bubbling off it was revolting. It kind of reminded Miranda of the goblin king from the new hobbit movie. Seeing them, the creature straightened making his throne crackle a bit. Miranda's stomach turned as she noted the number of bones around the creature and built into the throne. She had seen a lot in her day and knew that these were human remains.

Pushing the two forward, the lead guard gave a slight bow. "A gift, from the keeper." He said though Miranda noted he kept his distance. "So more trouble makers. Managed to get out of their per-programmed commands and make it to the top level." The guard stated.

The creature turned its bulging eyes to look at them. They eyes suddenly widened and he shrank back into his throne. "Timelord." He hissed. "But you all are supposed to be died. The time war." He shook his head. "How did you... When did you..." He shook his head, a tremor of fear in his eyes.
At the mention of "Timelord" all the other little troll creatures hissed. Pulling out tiny weapons they put themselves between the two prisoners and their leader though they kept a good distance back.

Miranda glanced at the Doctor. Well, at least someone knew who he was. But war? She frowned. She would have to ask him about that later.

"Well, if we can somehow talk these creatures into letting us past, that might work." The Doctor mentioned absentmindedly. He was trying to figure out how to take care of the icedors. Especially before they attracted the attention of more. One thing he knew about them was that they liked to travel in large packs. Though there was only one outside now, give it some time and there would be so many the door would be destroyed. "What I wouldn't give for some apples right now." He said sighing.

Jenny frowned. "Enough with the food." She snapped. This Doctor was so unlike the one she knew. The other one had no issues going straight into trouble and did not get sidetracked with food.

The Doctor shot Jenny a look. "Not for me, silly." He said shaking his head. "Apples are rubbish. I hate apples." He smiled. "For the icedor." He rubbed his hands gleefully together. "They don't stand the smell. Which I don't understand. It's the taste that is horrible." He blanched. Quickly brightening he headed over to the door and listened as the icedor still continued to hit the door. "But it's their greatest weakness. Toss an apple at them and you would think that it was Superman being strung along with Kryptonite." He stated not remembering that neither would understand the reference. "That I met him once. Pleasant fellow." The Doctor added grinning before looking back at the door and thinking.

Jenny frowned. "Who's this super man?" She inquired glancing at Clara. When the other girl didn't know either Jenny looked back at the Doctor.

"So if we don't have apples and we don't have a way out and a bunch of icedor are going to be pouring down here in a matter of minutes to eat us there is only one thing we can do." The Doctor declared. He looked at the two when Clara inquired what it was. "Open the door."

The expressions on the two girls faces would have made someone laugh and that was what Jenny was expecting this to be. One big joke. However, though he was grinning like a little kid the Doctor did not appear to be joking. Turning the handle he opened the door. Quickly pointing his screwdriver at the icedor he spoke. "Hold up." He ordered before it pounded in on him. "This has the ability to spray apple odor at you in a heartbeat if you try anything funny." He declared.

The icedor paused and took a step back but still blocked the doorway. Growling it stared at the Doctor before speaking. "You are bluffing." It declared.

"Maybe." The Doctor said starting taking a step forward. "But do you dare risk it?" His eyes gleamed with excitement. Now that he had a partial idea he could do something. But first off, find out why the icedor were here and avoiding getting them all killed.
I've done a few. Not so short. I have done a handful about 2000 words or so each. It is actually helpful when I don't have a lot of time and I am not working on one of my larger stories. However, you are right about more difficult. Trying to get a story to tell something in such a short space is difficult. But it is a fun challenge nonetheless.
Yeah - I had an RP idea I tried running some time back on the old site (when I had lots of time) about an idea I got. It didn't go far. Sometimes running a RP from a story backfires as you cannot control all the variables and some people are are unwilling to collaborate. Besides, an RP is about working together to develop a better story. I like the RPs where I'm not the only one leading it.
Don't get me wrong. I can do a lot of planning if need be and I have one RP which I planned several major arcs in advance (outside of this one) but I still like working with someone and having them throw in their twists. It adds to the fun.

Nice. Texas. Nice state. Only been there a few times despite the fact that I am so close to it and my brother and his family live there.

No rush on the story. I have to work tomorrow so I doubt I'll get to it until at least Tuesday. As for Jack - no problem. You don't even need to keep him to close to the original if you don't want to (not a big fan of Jack). We can play with the story and not exactly follow the script if need be.

Almost. I graduate on May 17th. Just got to hang in there until then. I'm looking forward to finally leaving the university behind and getting out into the real world (well - more than I am now...).
How was Divergent? It looked interesting but I haven't seen it (or read it).

- Play his video game? Shouldn't you be spending time with him and not his game?
That should be fun. I hope your week is enjoyable and you get a lot of recapping done. :D
I understand. I've only finished about 1 long story and I rushed the ending. All my other stories go to a point before I get sidetracked (except for a few short stories).
But I'm on a new one currently that is tied to an RP I'm doing. I have high hopes for that one...As I haven't added to the story in several days...
I think going off an RP will aid in the writing as you already have some written. As long as you avoid another person's ideas. What is your RP based off?

Funeral and wedding in the same time frame? That's rare. But don't worry. Visit with him and post later. My opinion, family is very important - especially if you haven't seen them in some time. (The ones you see everyday - ehh not so much. jk). Enjoy your time together.

No problem. I wasn't sure if you were looking at the future or the next one, so I just posted our schedule. Should be fun though. I thought how we did Nine/Jen is going to go very well. We have him angry in "Dalek" with so many deaths and then we go to "Doctor Dances" and everybody lives (except for those killed in the London Bombing...)
On that note: Are we going to introduce the ornery Jack Harkness?

I've been alright. One of my school projects isn't going as well as I would like. However, it's almost finished either way so I'm glad on that. As for everything else - life is just life and some days are crazy and others are less crazy. Though I did just see Captain America II: Winter Soldier the other day. That was fun.
How about you? How's the visit going/went?

Miranda watched as the man who seemed to be in charge just stared at the Doctor. “Who do you think you are?” He finally replied shaking his head.
“I wouldn’t have said that if I were you.” Miranda muttered as the Doctor began a tirade of who he was and how this was completely unacceptable.

The man turned to look at the security guards behind him. “Take this lunatic out of here.” He stated waving his hands. “The boss will not be happy if the games are disrupted. And take the girl with you.”

Girl? Miranda frowned. She was well in her twenties. Where did he get to calling her girl? However, she did not vocalize her complaint as the security officers who grabbed them did not look like they would accept arguments. She winced as the guard’s grip tightened around her arm, biting into the skin. “Careful.” She told him. He ignored her and instead increased his grip.

Though she was tempted to try to fight her way out of this common sense overtook her. She was a police officer. She was trained to negotiate if necessary. Brute force was not always the best option. Especially, as they were outnumbered and the fact the Doctor did not seem like a big fan of violence. “Who is your boss?” She inquired looking toward the man they had assumed was in charge.

The man chuckled. “Don’t worry. You’ll know soon enough.” He stated. “Take them to the pit.” He ordered.

“Yes sir.”

The security guards pulled the two away and back toward the elevators. “What do you think is the pit?” Miranda whispered to the Doctor.

“Silence.” The head guard said turning and striking her. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

Wincing, Miranda clenched her jaw as her eyes watered. That had hurt. If he had curled up his hand and turned it into a fist she doubted it would have added a lot more pain. Clamping her mouth shut she glanced at the Doctor. Whatever these guys had planned, they were dead serious. She hoped he could get them out of it.

He was still a bit annoyed at Jenny. He had thought she had grown past that. The last time they had meet she had been so excited that she had been able to stop the others without killing them. Apparently, she had reverted back to his old nature.

Looking at Clara when she mentioned what drew them here, he frowned thoughtfully. “It could be Jenny.” He declared glancing toward the blond. “The TARDIS might have picked her up and deposited us here. Though, I wonder why it didn’t do it sooner.”

“Not exactly sure how YOUR machine works.” Jenny stated, emphasizing the your as the Doctor seemed intent on the fact it was his alone and not both of theirs. “But if you remember it has only been a little while since I last saw you. Your TARDIS could have picked me up as you were in the area.”

The Doctor brightened at that thought but before he could say anything they heard a growl. Coming face to face with the large creature the Doctor blinked for a moment before turning. “RUN!” He yelled grabbing Clara’s hand.

As they dashed down the hallway, the Doctor quickly led them into a room and slammed the door before the dog could get in. Using the sonic he locked it and stepped away. “That should hold it for the moment.” He said looking around.

They were in a room with no windows or other doors. They were trapped. The door shook as the beast through itself against the door again and again. “Now you understand why I had the gun.” Jenny stated a bit annoyed. “I wasn’t shooting humans I was taking out those creatures.”

The Doctor looked over at her. “Wait, in that case why are the men here?”

Jenny smirked. “Because I’m here. I caused a bit of trouble with someone or other. I was here cleaning out this nest of Icedors when they showed up. Then you showed up and here we are.” She shrugged.

The Doctor paled. Icedors. Looking toward Clara he explained what they were. “Icedors are like giant dog like creatures except they have snake like tongues that can leave a person in agony for days before killing them. They are highly intelligent, almost sentient and take pleasure in torturing other creatures.”

He started to pace. This was not good. Not good at all. His mind quickly started working through various scenarios as he tried to come up with an idea of how to get into this mess. “If only we had some fish fingers and custard.” He stated pausing in front of the girls.

Jenny raised her eyebrows but Clara got to it first. The Doctor shook his head. “No. It won’t be useful against them but I’m a bit hungry and I haven’t had that in some time.” He grinned as if there was no danger at all.

“Yup. He’s definitely different.” Jenny whispered to Clara. The old Doctor never acted this way.
