I'm in the process of moving so I'm currently a bit CrAzY at the second. Hopefully, I'll be back to normal reply schedule soon (after the move and the insanity of getting basic unpacking done)

Perhaps it was the close experience with death that made her seem so reflective. After they had left the planet far behind, she had spent a long time in her room aboard the TARDIS writing, reflecting. Personally, he would rather run than look back. There was too much behind him and to dwell on it would bring back to many things he would rather avoid. However, kudos to Jen as she was able to move forward. When she wanted to meet her ex, he had no objections. Apparently, her disgust for a few humans kissing was brought on by her lack of love life. Though he personally didn’t have too much experience, he did not that humans were a bit annoyed when someone else was enjoying something they wanted. Either that or she just was disgusted with it in general. There were some people like that.

Hands in his jacket pockets, he ignored the slight chill and walked alongside Jen. When she inquired on how he was doing, instead of giving her a cheeky grin, he just looked ahead. She was the one who had faced death in the face with the angels and came out on top. True, his life was just as threatened, but after so many years, troubles, and threats it didn’t faze him as much. Besides, there were times he wouldn’t have minded death. Alone, the last of his kind, sometimes it was just too much. Not that the angels would have killed him. They would have just sent him back in time and feasted on the TARDIS. No. Despite his pain he was not going to give up on life yet. He had a lot of making up to do. Realizing he still hadn’t answered he turned to respond but she continued talking about Valentine’s Day. Content to leave the previous conversation alone, the Doctor just listened.

“I’m staying right here.” He looked at her seriously as she tried to talk herself back out of it. “You faced Weeping Angels.” He told her, matter-of-fact, no impish grin on his face. “You’ll be fine. I doubt he’s as bad as them.” He informed her, a slight twinkle in his eye. He felt bad for her. Facing one’s fears took guts. There were things he never wanted to go back and face. However, he did not want her to let it haunt her for the rest of her life. If she could deal with it and move on, then it will be better for her. “Just think, in a few days, you’ll be done. You can move on and not have to worry about what he thinks or cares.” Well, technically, she probably would. But, that was not the point. He was attempting to be a bit encouraging. “You’ll be glad you got this off your chest.” He told her. “Some things shouldn’t be cared for a long time.”
He looked off in the distance. Even if he wanted to go back, there was nothing he could do. There was no one he could apologize too, no one who would forgive him for his the choice he had to make. No, in his case, running was always better. Especially, as there was no one to go back to. He smiled at Jen. “I’ll be right here giving you support.” He promised.

Though it was curious why her boyfriend had left her and she hadn’t gone after the man. She was pretty determined to follow him when he showed up in her life investigating the plastics. The Doctor smiled. Just for her to go get her stuff, expecting him to stay had been difficult. There had been something in her eyes when she demanding he wait and not take off. Had the boyfriend leaving brought out her determination? Would things have been different if she had gone after the boyfriend or did not go after him?

The Doctor shook his head. He was glad he waited. He was glad she came with him. He grinned at her inquisitive look. “Just remembering when I first meet you. You were fairly determined to go with me even when I was pushing you off.” He nodded at her serious now. “If you can push your way to come with me without me taking off, you can talk to this fellow of yours. And you know what? If he doesn’t like what you say, to heck with it. He doesn’t deserve you. He doesn’t deserve your following up on him.” Though serious, he hoped she took it as encouragement. She could easily take it the other way and just leave. Or get annoyed with him, making her feel worse.

He shrugged. Humans were so complicated sometimes. But then again, that’s why he enjoyed them so much. He looked forward again, determined. Whatever happened, he was going to stay by her side. He fought ‘gods’ and demons. Ice warriors and angels. What a was an ex-boyfriend compared to them?

Summer smiled, not really surprised at the fact he didn’t have a plan. He seemed to be the type to go with the flow. The trip to Venice showed that. Though, in no way did that mean he couldn’t come up with a plan or knew what he was doing. Though he might not have one right away, he always came up with something and she never had to worry about him failing her. Even on Mars, when she had given up all hope of rescue, he had returned. Returned to her and kept her safe. Even against the Daleks, he came and got her out. No, he might not always have a plan but when something was needed, he knew what to do.

She smiled. “Enjoying our tea sounds fine with me.” She stated. “Then I can show you around. Dover’s such a beautiful place. And the weather is perfect for a tour.” Her eyes lit up at the thought of visiting her hometown again and taking in the sights. For some reason, she wanted to show the Doctor around, see what he thought. She hoped he approved of her town, though in reality it probably wouldn’t faze him as much. He was a time traveler. He could go anywhere in time and space and see exotic placed. Dover…well it was just a small harbor town that really only had significance because she grew up there.
In reality, she was a bit surprised at her boldness. It took some time before she warmed up to someone. And even her mates back in London hadn’t heard much about her hometown. She liked to keep things close. But then again, going through life and death experiences several times with someone could make a difference. Not to mention he did seem interested. Thankfully, the waitress coming up saved her from any awkwardness. Setting a plate of warm bread in front of them the waitress, straightened. “Molly had to leave so I’ll be taking care of you.” She stated. “If you need anything, just holler. My name’s Mabel.”

Summer’s head came up. The waitress… It was her. Younger than Summer had ever seen. The young college aged waitress smiled and left, not catching Summer’s surprised look. “That’s her.” Summer whispered a bit stunned. All of a sudden she felt a bit conspicuous. Perhaps this wasn’t such a good idea after all. What if she gave something away? What if something slipped? Memories of her childhood flew through her mind. Though the woman she remembered and the one she had seen were different ages, there was no doubt that they were the same woman. She was so beautiful. So much more than Summer. She had taken more after her Father than her mother. She looked over, conscious the Doctor was observing her. “Maybe we should leave.” She said a bit flustered. “I’ll probably mess something up. Say something I’m not supposed to.”

The Doctor’s touch on her hand calmed her slightly. Listening she composed herself. “You’re right. Sorry. I’m just… I wasn’t actually expecting her that quickly and I didn’t think far enough ahead on what I would actually do or say.”

It made sense though her Mother worked her. She had known all the staff and she did say it was her favorite place in town when they frequently stopped there when she was a child. Now some of the little jokes she missed as a kid made sense. The teasing, telling her mother she would fit right in. How she could probably run the place herself… It made some sense now. She looked at the Doctor. “So now what? I don’t know where to begin.”
Trex leaned back and frowned. That didn't make a lot of sense. Why would they want to keep Zelia under? Was it a test? A method to obtain certain information. Or were they just itching for a fight and were hoping that keeping Zelia asleep would provoke a fight? Though the celestial and the other wizard gave up without much of a fight, it could have been because it was two against so many. But then again, wouldn't Ryzo and his lackeys attacked them today then? He narrowed his eyes at the thought of the guy. "Maybe he was just trying to get Trex and the others to strike first. That way they could easily blame it back on them if trouble arises. He wished they knew more. Looking back at the two, he shook his head. "We'll just have to vigilant. I don't see any rhyme or reason to their attack other than to throw Zelia and possibly us off our game.

Standing, he glanced toward the counter. "They better not mess with Flynn during the contest." He declared. "Otherwise, there will be some issues." He nodded toward the counter. "As Flynn took a car, he probably will be back soon. We should head back."

But why had the Caelum spirits did what they did? Why keep Zelia asleep? Why keep apologizing for it? His fist clenched. "You know, if I get one of them by themselves, it might be worth dragging the information from them." Of course, that would probably result in retaliation, not to mention that if they were as tough as they claimed, getting information, especially from Ryzo or Tye would be extremely difficult. He looked at Zelia. He wondered how she was doing. When they first met Ryzo, the two had seemed to hit it off. Now... He was a bit cold and behind the attacks on her. How must she feel? He didn't like the guy and he didn't like the fact that he had been friendly with Zelia earlier - gut instinct. Nothing to do with jealousy. But now, pretending one thing and then revealing himself as another was just wrong.

Going over, he ordered some food. Nothing that needed to be hot, mind you, but some food that the four of them could eat at noon. Putting the jewels on the counter, he noticed that Chris had already taken off. Either because he felt excluded or what, Trex wasn't sure. He didn't mean to make him feel like an outsider but technically he was a bit. Pegasus and Fairy Tail, though not enemies were opposite guilds, competing for the same requests and jobs. The fact that Chris was here to help Amber win the key meant that he was technically competing against them now. But even then, the two were very helpful on confronting the Caelum wizards. He headed back to the group and held up the back. "Let's go." He stated, holding the door for them all to pass through. "I bet you Flynn is already back wondering where we are."
~~~~
Ryzo looked over at her. He thought she had meant Tye. He shrugged that Tye was a stepping stool. That was true. She needed to get strong enough to get an offer into Caelum's only guild. Having a Phoenix wizard mentor and train you gave one a better shot into getting into the guild. Fiore guilds were strange. On Caelum, only S-Class equivalents were accepted into the mysterious guild halls. And only if they were deemed worthy. Here, any wizard, no matter the strength was allowed into a guild. It must make their guilds incredibly weak. Why bring in someone who might never reach S-Class potential or might bring more trouble to the guild then he or she was worth. But then again, it really didn't matter to him. If they wanted to be wet nurses to a bunch of children, then that was there problem.
He listened as Narsica inquired about his lie. He looked at her. "It wouldn't have mattered what I said. They knew the spirit came from Maria. There was no point in telling them that we did it on purpose. That would possibly lead to a full confrontation which is not our goal. Despite what others might believe." He stated firmly, thinking of Tye. Ever since she saw Skye again, she had been distracted from their real goal. Couldn't she just leave her personal vendettas aside just once? Their goal was to get the colour keys. Not stir up all trouble. He looked away, seeing Flynn come back in the car. "As for the girl," He shrugged. "A means to an end." He smiled with a gleam in his eye. "An indulgence that helped mix them up for a bit." He told her. "You know the drill. She is a Fairy Tail wizard and her team has one of the keys. Sow a bit of 'kindness' and get her hopes up and then exploit it to get the key." He smirked. "It would have worked to if things turned out differently." He shrugged and watched as Flynn make his way toward the door. "But it didn't so we'll just use the other plan." He shrugged. "The good news is, her annoyance with me could work in our benefit." He smiled a bit wickedly. "Work out a bit better than her 'liking'."
~~~~
The servant at the door, frowned at Flynn. "That was quick." He stated distastefully. "You will have to wait. The master will come out when all have returned." With that he closed the door.

Almost back to the curator's house, Trex spotted the car. "What do you know? Flynn's back." He spotted their friend talking to the servant. The servant said something and then closed the door. "That didn't look good." Trex said pausing by the car. "I wonder what the man said. Hopefully, he didn't think that Flynn cheated because he used a car. It was a non-magical car after all."
Fantastic!
I will look at it and see if I can get something up today or tomorrow.

Nine/Jen
He will try. *nods*

Ten/Summer
Will do. I have an idea of how to bring her in. I just didn't want to overdo it on the last post.
Chris nodded. "Yeah. I don't think she would have headed back and got a car." He stated. "It would probably take to much of her time. Especially, as none-magic cars are fairly expensive." Entering the restaurant he looked around. "I guess we can order to go and head back to the curator's house." He stated.

Trex nodded. "You go ahead and get something for Amber. I'll get something for Flynn in a second." Catching the hint, Chris nodded and walked off. Trex turned to Zelia. "We probably should fill you in on what happened yesterday." He told her. "And then maybe you can tell us what went on in your dream s we can have an idea what they were doing." He frowned. "They wouldn't have done that without reason. Unless they are just toying with us." He looked at Skye. "Could that be possible?"

Skye bit her lip. "Tye, definitely." She stated after a moments pause. "Ryzo..." She shrugged. "A lot of what I thought I knew of him was destroyed when..." She paused. It wasn't something pleasant to discuss. However, it had to be said. "When they betrayed me." She looked at Trex. "I'm not sure. If it was some part of a grand scheme of things, maybe trying to instigate a fight where we are blamed, yes... I guess." She shrugged. "I don't know." Maybe if she could talk to Zen they could get some answers. But then again, he too stood by and did nothing. And she doubted he would be of any help.

Trex rubbed his chin, thoughtful. "Well, we have a few minutes, let's recap." He said motioning to a table. He quickly filled the two on what happened. Though, he downplayed the whole "I'll kill you" part. There was no need to talk about that. Not that it meant anything, no. But still... why bother bringing it up?
~~~~
Ryzo grunted. "Lovers. Right." He paused. "Tye has always been like that." He stated. True, he probably should be careful how much he said to Tye's underling. But that was something he didn't mind her finding out. Sure there were times they had to work together but he never liked Tye. The fiasco with Diego and Skye only caused him to dislike her even more. If she wasn't part of the Phoenix guild and the rules were clearly enforced on no-inner-fighting, he would like to see the outcome between the two of them.
When he was younger survival and getting stronger was his only goals. He needed Tye just as she needed him. But now... It would be an interesting fight.
He looked at Narsica. "If you haven't already, some day you'll see. Tye's a loose viper. It doesn't matter who you are, she'll strike out at you. Doesn't matter if it's me, you, or someone else. The day will come when she'll strike out at all of us. Not at the same time, most likely. But one at time, nonetheless." He gave a cold smile. "Just hope you are able to survive." He nodded toward her book. "You can tell Tye I said that. I don't give a care."
Turning, he crossed his arms and stared back at the house. They had a long wait.
Near the end of the pack, Amber moved along at a fairly crisp pace. She had been going like this for an hour. Most of the other wizards took off at a crisp pace. About ten minutes in the run she had seen Flynn whiz by in a car. Smart guy. To bad she hadn't thought of it. She glanced at the sun. At this pace she would be at the beach and back probably around eleven. Technically, she could try to run faster but why overdo it? If she ran the entire way to the beach she would not have the energy to run all the way back. No, a brisk pace, partial running, partially walking at times would get the job done. She just hoped that it wasn't a race of who would be first. Though she had a good bet, that she would probably beat some of the runners on foot because of her pacing. But there was no way she was going to beat Flynn.
The roar of the engine surprised her. Glancing down the road she saw Flynn flying toward her. That was quick. Maybe she should have taken the ten minutes to go back, get a car and go. Well, it was too late now. Smiling, she waved. "Great job." She called. "See you around noon." She told him.
Ryzo didn't blink as he listened to Zelia. As they left, Tye turned to him. "Ouch." She said teasingly. "Did she hurt your heart, Ryzo?"
The wizard ignored her barb and turned. "Maria should be making good time." He stated. "I have no doubt she will beat some of the other wizards." He looked at Zen. "Keep an eye on her but don't interfere. Don't even let her see you. However, if she appears to break a rule, make yourself known and tell her if she does she'll get it." He frowned. "I'm not losing this key because she breaks one of the rules."
Zen nodded and with a flash was gone. Ryzo looked at Tye. "We are here for one thing. The keys. Not for fighting, not for old grudge matches. Now go and do what we discussed yesterday."
Tye's jaw clenched. Who was he to order her around? They were equals. Knowing Narsica was watching, she forced a laugh. "You were always a funny boy, Ryzo." Her expression tightened. "But remember, we were both put in charge. I'm only going because I want what is best for the mission. Not because you ordered me too."
Ryzo shrugged. "I don't care." With another look Tye turned and walked off leaving the two alone. She would go do what she was ordered but she'll also take this time to do a few other things...She smiled. Coming to Fiore had been better than she expected.
~~~~
Skye shrugged. "I'm fine." She stated. "I'm sorry they didn't tell you anything. A lot has changed." Her expression changed slightly before quickly turning back to expressionless. "Though, don't believe a word he said. They aren't to be trusted." She turned and crossed her arms, hugging herself, From her position, she could see them from the corner of her eye. Within a few minutes both Zen and Tye left. She frowned. What were they planning?

Trex briefly placed a hand on Zelia's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Zelia. If you want, we can go and force some answers." He said cracking his knuckles.

Chris looked at him. "And risk trouble?" He shook his head. "I don't know how they were allowed into Fiore. Letting foreign wizards in without supervision could lead to some trouble. I have a bad feeling that those guys are going to cause some trouble. The army should deport them back from to Caelum or wherever they came from."
He looked at Skye. "The guy said to ask you. Do you know them?"

"It doesn't matter." Trex cut in. "Forgot them. How about we go pick something up for Flynn. I bet you he'll be starving when he gets back."
Trex nodded. "Though, if they continue it after we walk away, they'll regret it." He looked at her. "But I'll do my best."

The four made their way over toward the Caelum wizards. If any of the wizards were surprised to see them coming it didn't show. Ryzo stopped talking to Tye and the two turned, side-by-side to face the Fairy Tail (and Chris) wizards. Though he briefly glanced at Zelia, Ryzo kept his expression closed. Gone was any of the smiles that he had given when it was just the two of them. Gone was any indication that there might have been something more. Arms crossed, he waited as they came up to them.

Tye on the other hand smiled. "Skye, long time no see. I'm surprised you haven't fled to the hills or something." She chuckled. "You know we out to go sit down somewhere and catch up on old times." Though she smiled there was something in her eye.

Trex spread his hand in front of the rest of the team. "I thought you said you were interested in a fight." He said calmly, yet firmly to Ryzo. He completely ignored Tye. A bit annoyed at his rudeness, Tye lifted her chin but refrained from speaking. "You said you didn't want to fight and yet two of your companions attacked our comrade yesterday." Trex continued. The two's eyes locked. "Are you going back on your word?"

Calmly, as if Trex's statement hadn't been more of a challenge or insult, Ryzo returned his gaze. "A slight disorder in the ranks." He replied calmly. "Don't worry. It has been dealt with." Ryzo kept his gaze on Trex, not glancing at any of the others. "If we were the type of wizards who wanted to fight, you would be finished by now." He stated calm, yet deadly.

Trex chuckled. "Right. You apparently, underestimate Fairy Tail wizards."

Ryzo gave a small smile though it did not meet his eyes. "And you underestimate Caelum wizards. Ask Skye." He stated. "She knows how aggressive Caelum wizards can be. There is no rules. It's survival of the fittest. If we were the type of wizards who wanted you died, and we didn't have the honor to hold to our agreements, we would have taken you out." He waved his hand at Zelia. "She wouldn't have been the only one under the sleep spell. If I wanted to fight, all I had to do was have Maria trap each one of you in your dreams and finish the job." He shrugged. "You can't stay awake forever and if some of you managed to stay awake, you would be weakened against us." He uncrossed his arms. "But I don't want to fight. Maria's attack on you was swiftly dealt with. Ask any of the other three. Tye and I severely punished her for breaking our word to you." He looked at Zelia. "It won't happen again."
Trex raised his hand as he watched Flynn fly past. "That's some ingenuity." He declared. He looked around. Some of the wizards who had come with their celestial friends started to leave.

Chris came over. "You got a smart friend." He said shaking his head, though he couldn't help but smile at the idea. "He'll probably be the first one there and back." He shoved his hands in his pocket and glanced toward the house. "That was a strange request though. I wonder what it has to do with anything."
His gaze went past them to the Caelum wizards who stood in there area conversing amongst themselves. "Should we finish where we left off yesterday?" He asked, a slight mischievous grin on his face. "Technically, Flynn and Amber are safe from any repercussions."

Trex stared at Chris. Though he did seem a bit snappish at times, he was alright. He turned and looked at the Caelum wizards. There was four on four. But then again, a fight was not always the best thing. They do to much damage and not only with the army be on their case but the curator's house might get damaged and thus make him biased against Flynn. "Fight, probably not. Though, it will be a bit interesting to see what goth boy has to say about putting Zelia under." He stated. "Especially, as the last time he stated they did not want to fight."

He looked at Zelia. "It's up to you, really. We can leave the losers alone or go and get some answers." He shrugged. "Though frankly they might just lie and leave it at that." He shook his head. He was never a fan of dark wizards. Though they weren't exactly part of a dark guild, to his knowledge, they weren't like any of the good guilds in Fiore. Besides, there was some enmity between them and Skye thus making him dislike them even more. "What say you?" He asked looking at Zelia.
Trex scowled. "No. I'm not having a rabbit on my head." He glared at the two. "Besides, if that celestial tries anything like that again, she knows we'll come back after her." He looked at Flynn. "You even try it and you'll regret it." He threatened. Crossed his arms he toward the house. There was no way he was going to have a bunny on his head. All the respect he had earned, everything he had worked for would be gone in an instant. Not to mention that Trever and his goons would never let him live it down.

Amber hid a smile. "He is such a cute bunny." She declared with a sigh. "I just love the cute spirits. They might not be as powerful as some of the bigger spirits but they have their own uses."

Talking suddenly ceased as the front door opened and the curator walked out. He looked at the surrounding wizards. "My, my." He said a bit surprised at the turn out. "So many more than I expected." Straightening his hat, he straightened and walked to the edge of the porch. "Alright, I'm assuming you are all here for the celestial spirit key." He declared. "For those who just saw the part about the key and ignored everything else, pay attention. This key has been in Ricardo's family for seven generations." He told them refereeing to the man who had died. "The only reason, he even suggested it go outside the family is because there is no one left to receive it." He cleared his throat. "Therefore, he has set up several rules and challenges to ensure that whoever gets the key is worthy of it." He pulled out some glasses and a piece of paper. Clearing his throat. "First, may all the celestial wizards competing come forward?"

"Best of luck." Trex said punching Flynn. "Make us proud."

"Good luck." Amber said before moving into the line.

Looking the ten wizards over, the curator nodded to his servant who had just exited. The man went and handed each wizard a small rock. "You will take this rock to the beach and dip it into the water." He ordered. He smiled. "But it will not be as easy as you think. First, you cannot use magic of any sort. Second, only you may carry the rock and you have to go alone. And lastly, you must dip it in Akena Beach." He told them refereeing to the beach a few miles away. "Be back before noon." Turning he headed inside.
The trip to the curator didn't take that long. It was good having the entire team up and out again. For a few moments it was almost like old times. Bringing up the rear, Trex kept a sharp lookout. If there was going to be any trouble it would probably be before they reached the house. Either that or during the competition itself. It all depended on what rules the curator had planned. When Zelia suddenly stopped laughing, Trex looked to see the issue. Spotting the Caelum wizards he stiffened. "Just keep going." He told the others. "As much as I would love to bust some teeth in, we should avoid confrontation." His gaze meet Ryzo's.

The Caelum wizard made eye contact but his expression remained guarded. Giving a short nod to Trex, he turned and went back to looking at the curator's house. There was five of them total. Ryzo, Skye's sister Tye, the celestial, the book wizard, and the teleportation wizard. All five stood away from everyone else as if either were outsiders or they did not want to be affiliated with anyone else. Trex guessed the latter. Seeing that Skye had stopped, he nudged her forward to follow the others over to where the Pegasus wizards were. "Another time." He told her.

Skye turned away from the wizards and followed Zelia and Flynn. When she had left that morning she didn't know what to feel. Part of her wanted to confront her old acquaintances for what they did to Zelia. But now, seeing Tye smile in her direction and remembering all the times, good and bad she had with Ryzo and Zen she just froze. She was glad Trex broke her concentration. A few more minutes and she would have probably turned and ran the other way. The message was in Tye's eyes. It was only a matter of time for her. Lifting her chin, she stopped next to Zelia and kept her attention straight ahead, toward the house.

Spotting the Fairy Tail wizards, Amber and Chris came over to them. "Glad to see you are up and about." Amber said looking at Zelia. "I hope the spirit didn't cause terrible dreams or anything. She didn't seem like she would but you never know. Doing better?" She inquired.
SKye nodded. She understood completely. Many a time she regretted saying certain things, especially as the consequences were pretty bad. She would not bring it up again unless Zelia did first. Tye's mocking face echoed in her mind and she brushed it away. Placing Zelia's brush on top of her pack, Skye went and grabbed her stuff. She looked over at Flynn and then Zelia. With the sun coming up, it was probably time for him to get up. She herself was now more awake and rearing to go. But then again, they still had some time. "We could wait until Trex gets back." She said strapping her sword on.

As if her comment brought him back, the door opened and Trex entered. Not liking what the inn had to offer, he had gone down to the wharf to get something. The walk over did him good and now he was ready for the day. Not to mention, he found some really good cooked fish for breakfast. "Foods here." He called entering. Pausing, he glanced down at Flynn. A guilty look crossed his face as he realized Flynn was technically still asleep. Shrugging the look off, he closed the door. Pulling out one of the fish, stuck on a stick, he handed it to Zelia and then handed another one to Skye. Pulling out his, he handed the last one to the sleepy eyed Flynn. "Eat up, old chum." He said cheerfully. "Today you are going to win a key."

He looked around at the three. "Word at the market is that several wizards are already lining up outside the Curator's house. We should probably hurry up and eat." He informed them as he grabbed his pack. "Though, Flynn, you might want to wake up first." He stated, a smirk on his face.

Maria winced. Ryzo and Tye had not been happy last night when they had returned. Between the two of them, she felt like a punching bag. Good thing was that she wasn't the only one to blame. They yelled at her and Narsica both. Thankfully, after the two explained happened, the two S-Class wizards calmed down. Or at least Ryzo.

"We can always do another shot at it some other time." He had stated, shrugging. Tye on the other hand, just scowled but let it be.
Apparently, whatever they had been doing all day yesterday hadn't turned out well either. Not that either one would give her privy to that information.
No. She was ordered to bed, like a child. Told that she needed to rest for the competition.

But come morning, she was glad she had gotten some rest. Ryzo pulled them at an unearthly hour and dragged them all to the curator's house to wait. Tye seemed to be in a better mood - or at least she wasn't scowling. She and Ryzo spook in hushed tones while they waited for the curator's speech.
Maria glanced around. There was a few other wizards around but not that many. She wondered if the Fairy Tail wizards and those other ones would show up soon. How they would react to her and the rest of the team, she wasn't sure. She hoped there wouldn't be any major confrontation. There was after all, a competition to be held. The curator might not be please to have a tussle in front of his house.

She glanced at Narsica. They hadn't spoken much after they left the hideout. Though she had backed Maria up on pulling out Twila, that could have been more to save her own self then to help Maria. After all, what wizard in their right mind would assist another unless something was in it for them.
