As you all no doubt have heard, the Senate has approved military strikes in Alpha Centauri. I am gathering a fleet to begin combing the system for ruban and terrorist cells. I am expecting the full support of colonial governments in the system and anticipate a speedy resolution to this conflict.

Contributing companies will receive an ample signing bonus plus further bonuses for services rendered.

Assist IMPSEC forces in Alpha Centauri in eliminating terrorist cells in the star system.

Brief
In response to piracy and bombings, IMPSEC is leading an operation to eliminate terrorist cells operating in Alpha Centauri. Contractors will be required to conduct search and destroy operations across the star system and provide aid to the IMPSEC fleet operating in the system. Contract pays a signing bonus of 1,000mc plus bonuses for services rendered.

Senate Approves Military Action In Alpha Centauri

Imperial Senate Chambers

The Imperial Senate convened in an emergency session on Earth this morning, and voted unanimously for a military response following the terrorist attack on Thadus.

More then five hundred people have been confirmed dead in the attack and the terrorist leader responsible is still at large. The mastermind of tuesday's attack has been identified as Anton Mischeovich, who goes by the alias Ruban. IMPSEC has reported that Ruban has fled Thadus and is believed to be in hiding in the Alpha Centauri System.

IMPSEC is expected to release contracts aimed at securing peace in Alpha Centauri and apprehending the terrorists responsible for the Twin Suns bombing. - FNN

Secondary Bomb Kills Hundreds In Anita City

Thadus - Just minutes after the explosion that decimated Twin Suns HQ, a secondary bomb has been reported in the harbor district of the city, killing hundreds of civilians. Revolutionary forces behind the Twin Suns bombing are assumed to be behind the blast. The reported target was Anson Ford, outgoing deputy mayor of Anita City. IBC has learned from sources that Ford was taken hostage and strapped with explosives before being sent into the crowd. More on the story as it develops. - IBC

Bombing Rocks Anita City

At least 50 people are dead with the death count still rising in the aftermath of an explosion at Twin Suns Inc corporate headquarters in Anita City on Thadus. What began as riots in the wake of a police union strike has escalated into a terrorist attack in the heart of the city's downtown.


Twin Suns HQ engulfed in flames following bombing

Twin Suns Inc is a powerful mining interest in the Alpha Centauri System, and one of the few corporations that maintain their headquarters in the colonies rather then on Earth. Revolutionary movements have targeted the corporation for decades, claiming they ruthlessly exploit the colonists of Alpha Centauri but this marks the first time their HQ has been the target of a major attack.

Federation forces are in the vicinity and currently working to defuse an ongoing hostage situation and bring justice to the terrorists. For more on this story and more, stay tuned to FNN. - FNN

Hostage Crisis In Anita City

Lawless mobs have convened and attacked government buildings in Anita City today, taking advantage of the police strike currently underway in the province of Anita, on Thadus in the Alpha Centauri Star System. Federation forces have landed in the city and secured the Capital Building in Anita City only to find some of the government personnel missing, including the deputy mayor.


Federation Mechs advance on rioters

While the building is now secure, there are reports of violent demonstrators gathering in the harbour district of the city, with CCTV cameras confirming the missing administrators being held by the mob. FNN has not yet received word on the condition of the hostages, nor any list of demands by the perpetrators. More on this as the story develops. - FNN

Hudson Explorations' Stocks Plummet

The exploration company, Hudson Explorations, has emerged in a pitfall in colonial markets today, falling three points from its already tumultuous fall earlier in the year.

Analysts point to the recent survey data leak last month contributing to the fall. Company investigation revealed that much of the corporation's survey of the Burnell Pulsar on the Norma Expanse Frontier has fallen into the hands of competing companies, devaluing much of the data complied.

The HE board of directors have levied a 2 million credit fine on Anson Rayder, previously the Hudson Explorations Chief of Operations in the Burnell Pulsar System. The board found Rayder responsible for the leaks and terminated his employment, as well as a fine.

The data leak comes at a bad time for Hudson Explorations as news has reached the colonies of the disappearance of the Mayflower, HE's exploration ship surveying the Glispie Star System beyond the Burnell Pulsar. A Federation vessel is currently enroute to conduct search and rescue operations in Glispie, however it is unclear if Hudson Explorations can withstand another hit on the stockmarket should the Mayflower not be recovered. - FNN
